I like the idea that when hoseas kids have all grown up n out of the house, they just reflexivity come to hosea when they've had a rough time of it, knowing that hosea won't ask them to talk but will allow them to stew for a bit, providing them with a blanket, warm tea n a table to silently sit at n he will simply read his newspaper at that table till they feel comfortable enough to talk about what is going on, they know that they can always come to hosea when they need a listening ear n not a solution to their problems n that hosea will be there for them

-ppl always assume Arthur is a beer guy. But tell me he wouldnāt love something more silly like a high noon or a white claw
Charles is a wine lover!!!!!!!! He bonded with Hosea over it :)
Tell me Dutch and Hosea wouldnāt have a fancy little wine cupboard in their house.
-Charles and Arthur are BOTH hardheaded about pain
Both refuse to take an ibuprofen for a headache despite the other telling them to multiple times
When Charles had appendicitis he insisted Arthur didnāt need to leave work for it (he did, of course)
John, on the other hand, thinks that every little ache is the end for him. Which does not bode well in a marriage to Abigail who has a frighteningly high pain tolerance
-Charles and Arthur are both acts of service lovers so theyāre just constantly uno reversing each other with caring acts
-John is lactose intolerant. Yāall know Iām right
-John and Abigail absolutely ācheckedā their kidsā candy after trick or treating
Mysteriously all of the peanut m&ms were bad and had to beā¦.. thrown outā¦ā¦ā¦
-speaking of Halloween, Charlesā mom sent Arthur a picture of baby Charles dressed up as a little dinosaur in 1992 and he hasnāt stoped giggling about it bc itās JUST SO CUTE :ā)
Arthur quietly wishes Charles couldāve been around when Isaac was little enough to go trick or treating. Charles came into the picture right around the time when it became uncool for him :(
-Isaac, Jack, and Marston Daughter all went to see the fnaf movie together
Arthur and John were so grateful that Isaac is old enough to drive now because theyāve had to sit through so much fnaf lore over the last 9 years and just. Do not get it
āSo the bunnyā¦.. ate someone????ā āUgh dad were you even listening!!! Letās start from the beginning.ā
-one time when he was like 5 John was digging under the seat in the family car and got stuck
15 min had passed before Hosea was like ā¦..where is he
Arthur, all of 8 years old, ran out and couldnāt stop giggling at little Johnny kicking his legs and crying
Dutch pulled him out, assured him he was fine, held back his laughterā¦.. mostly
-When they were kids, John and Arthur had a trampoline
Arthur and the other kids in the neighborhood (namely Sean, the weirdo kid next door who was in Johnās grade) would always popcorn John and he would cry
Sometimes Dutch would bounce on it and play with them but he hurt himself trying to prove he could do a backflip (he could not)
-Hosea has seen every single episode of law and order: SVU
I imagine he also made Arthur/John watch old man shows with him growing up like the Andy Griffith show
When Isaac was a baby and Grandpa Hosea would watch him, theyād cuddle up in his grandpa recliner and watch those sorts of shows :ā)
-Abigail went through a weird pottery phase a few years ago so thereās a variety of oddly heavy mugs and plates in their kitchen
John is VERY proud of her though do not get it twisted. He drinks his coffee out of that heavy ass mug every morning
-This is the correct johnigail dynamic. Iām right
