Hello.

(It’s me)

I’ve put off writing this for a long time. Nearly a year, to be exact. As you’ve seen, I’ve been distant on here for quite a while. There have been a couple of reasons, most being down to being ill, the other being some family health issues. My dad got ill around this time last year and had to have major heart surgery within a month. Unfortunately, he suffered a stroke during the op and has only just started to get back to normal. Obviously things have been difficult and my own health has suffered as a result. I’d love this to be a post telling you all I’ll be coming back, but honestly? I don’t want to. I love fashion and I love this blog but I really can’t handle a blog that needs so much love and attention - attention I don’t have. I’m working very hard to get better and am still going through lots of medical things so I don’t have energy for much else. I’m finding it increasingly difficult to handle things on a daily basis and I don’t want to attempt to restart something if my heart’s not completely in it as it wouldn’t be fair.

I can’t thank you all enough for everything you’ve done for me and this blog. I was encouraged to create this by my therapist after a very low point in my life and I couldn’t have predicted just how much of an impact it would have on me. You’ve all been lovely to me and I’m so, so grateful!

I really hope you’re doing all well. I’ve missed catching up with you all and I wish you guys the best in the future!
