if you have the energy, it's suzukari time! has suzume ever joined karim's canon fights during fire force? did any of them get seriously injured? do they fight well together? are they in...TUNE??? :o
i have been offline for weeks and i really miss posting about my OCs but i have hit-or-miss energy these days so thank u for the kind acknowledgment and SORRY i took so long to answer this.
Anyways. Thanks to everyone who stuck around following me. It’s SuzuKari time.
Suzume canonically joins a few of Karim’s fights in fire force, er, at least 1 that I can think of, but maybe more because I’m not caught up on the manga yet. As for do any of them get injured... I am hoping to write about that in an upcoming chapter of their fic, if I get that far. I don’t want to answer specifically and retcon it later, (I’ve been doing that a lot lately) so I’ll leave it at that.
Do they fight well together? Well. Suzume’s powers, which I have already changed from the last post where I wrote about her, involve diving through tunnels she makes out of fire (3rd generation pyrokinesis). Credit to my friend on Twitter for helping me come up with her “fire diver” abilities. You can see a taste of this below, in a sketch of an illustration of them fighting that I’m working on.
Karim can freeze the tunnels to stop the fire from spreading and uh... make cool art. So sure, they’re in TUNE thanks for the pun bye!!!!

Abilities: Third Generation Pyrokinesis. She prefers to use whips, rope, or string as a wick to control the fires she lights.

Likes: Hot baths, candles, putting her hair up, playing pretend games with the kids
Dislikes: Paperwork (but she’s very good at it), cleaning up other peoples’ messes
Strengths: Patience, the ability to teach, standing her ground
Weaknesses: Bad at close combat, fights better from a distance. Can be a micro-manager if she is allowed to get deeply involved in others’ problems. Worries too much. Really wishes she had more time with her mother and gets jealous of people who do.

Personality: Lori is really laid-back and easy-going. He cares for other people so much he gets emotional on their behalf sometimes. His favorite thing is “being helpful.”
Abilities: Second Generation Pyrokinesis. “Kindling Words” allows Lori to control others’ flames by talking to them. Commands like “explode”, “extinguish”, “split”, and “smoke” do what they mean literally, but he can also manipulate flames more specifically with concentration and strings of commands.

Likes: Cleaning, carpentry and other fix-it work, the color pink, dogs
Dislikes: Hitting his head because he’s tall, telling other people how he feels

What a coincidence that you ask, I am just starting work on a character database for all of my OCs, and it so happens that Suzume was the profile I finished first! Here are some Suzume quotes and stats:
"I am not a woman of faith who is coming to you for confession. I am your colleague. My business is my own."
Suzume Honda is a lieutenant first-class fire soldier and the only daughter of Gustav Honda, captain of the Second Brigade of Fire Soldiers. She is assigned to the First Brigade due to conflicting religious beliefs with her father.
Nickname: Fire Diver
Birthday: December 30, 173
Zodiac: Capricorn
Occupation: Fire Soldier, Lieutenant First Class
Orientation: Bisexual
Family: Gustav Honda (father), Keiko Honda (mother)
Physical description: Suzume has a slim but strong frame. She stands at 5’6” and weighs 140 pounds. Most notable in her physical appearance are her eyes, sharp and green. Her hair is a pastel pink shade, usually braided into a single plait, but long enough to reach the middle of her back. She has a burn scar on her right foot from the Holy Light Orphanage Rescue Incident.
Personality: Initially Suzume comes across as cold and unattached. She is a strict leader, one who persuades by example. If I can do it, you can do it. However, she is very kind to survivors and those needing help. Not a militaristic type, although she was raised on a military schedule due to her father’s affiliation. Calm, and hardworking.
Abilities: Second Generation Pyrokinesis. Using a technique called Condensation, she can accommodate external temperatures up to 2000°C by releasing the energy as steam. She pulls liquid from her body and the air around her to act as a barrier, and can use this ability to walk through fire, as well as extinguish flames provided she has a good water source.

hey everyone! i don’t want to shame anybody and i hope my tone is ok but i want to point out that im seeing a lot of reblogs of that one post about kindle worlds.
i wrote my masters thesis on that platform when it was failing over 6 years ago... it’s a flopped platform. its not a threat to AO3 at all. it had ridiculous terms and conditions (even more than were detailed in the original post) and writers caught on to them before the platform could take off in popularity.
the original poster (and time stamp if you check it) notes that the popular post itself is like... 8 years old.
so! don’t fear for AO3! just continue to support them. also, try to remember to check links before reblogging them if possible!
