don't think we all ever fully acknowledge how much of a fundamentally great guy Antonio Giovinazzi is. like, yes, italian jesus, good vibes & good hair etc, etc. but this boy from southern italy with no rich family or sponsors backing him truly shows up every day at alfa romeo and does the best he can with what he's given (which isn't much) and he does so with the biggest smile on his face, always. it would be easy for him to blame the car and the team (and he'd be kinda right to do so. i mean–no radio for two entire races? two years in a row?!), because god knows how frustrating the situation he's in must be. nevertheless, never a snide comment from him. no raised voices, no sarcasm, no resentment. even now that it very much looks like alfa romeo are either still dangling the carrot in front of him for next year or have already signed and stamped his destiny away from them, he shows up, does what he loves, jokes around, repeats time & time again how much of an honor it is to be in f1, has a smile and a kind word for everyone. no entitlement, no bitterness. just kindness & pure love for the sport
