i don't really get what the point of making a whole new paywalled streaming service is when they already have a patreon with different tiers in it
like if they want to move away from youtube, why not make an additional $1 tier for patreon so that more people could afford it, and then the higher tiers could also get the extra perks of behind the scenes/commentary tracks/etc?
it just seems like patreon has already solved the problem they're experiencing with youtube (but i don't have a patreon account so maybe there's something i'm missing)
