Evgenia, Wakaba and Kaori tried Sailor Moon: The Miracle 4D at Universal Studios Japan!
When asked to comment, Evgenia said, “I was really happy to hear Sailor Moon’s famous line ‘In the name of the moon, I will punish you!’! It was truly wonderful! I had a lot of fun!
They also got to meet Evgenia’s favorite, Tuxedo Mask. "It’s so cool! I felt so happy that I stood rooted to the spot!” Evgenia exclaimed.
Their outing will be aired on April 14, 3:30pm in TBS’ special program called “Stars on Ice 2018: Big Gathering of Medalists”.
“The Makkachin tissue case was a present from Evgenia Medvedeva. We were roommates at Novogorsk, and she asked me then what I wanted as a souvenir from Japan. I told her that I wanted a tissue case like hers, but of a different character. So she brought me back this Makkachin.” ―Alexandra Trusova, JGPF 2017 Ladies Press Conference
She’s so good! Seriously, the way she moves her body, the way she used the one blade of her skate in the ice, gosh she’s so poetic in the ice it’s so gorgeous…
I'm not biggest Alina fan by far. I don't find her routines appealing and I much prefer Evegnia's performances. But that doesn't mean I can't respect that she works hard and is a good skater. It doesn't mean that I can't be excited to see her develop, god knows she has lots of time to grow as a skater! It's exciting to know that there's someone who has so much potential! Saying she doesn't deserve her medal is basically putting her down, putting down all the hardwork she's put into her skating and all the things she has overcome to get onto that podium. She deserves her medal.
Please respect her talent and hardwork as an athlete.
The same can be said about Evegnia! I'm so proud of her and though I am heartbroken she won only silver, I want to continue to see this build her up even more and all the possibilities she can accomplish. She made me proud at the Olympics and though she didn't get Gold I don't think that will hold her back. She's overcome a lot in the past few years and for now I really hope she rests well and doesn't get anymore injuries in the upcoming months!
To me, she's proven how amazing she is already and yes while a gold medal would've been nice, it doesn't mean she isn't a wonderful skater or that it defines her career overall.
She's made her mark in history, with lots of titles under her belt and lots of world records as well as an Olympic Silver medal, which not many athletes ever see in their lifetime. She has lots of achievements to be proud of and many more to come I'm sure!
She is still the top skater to beat all around honestly, and I can't wait to see who comes to challenge her. She isn't one of the best skaters for nothing after all! I have faith in her and her abilities and that next time she will get that Gold medal.
I can't wait to see her growth leading up to the next Olympics!
I'm excited to watch both Evgenia and Alina continue to grow and give so much to the skating community!
I'm really proud that though Janny was heartbroken she still gave Alina her support and even gave her a hug. I know it's always expected of athletes to be good sportsman, but it's still always nice to see! We should follow by example! Evegnia showed what good sportsmanship is, the least we can do as fans is follow her example!
We also need to remember that while Evgenia and Alina may be rivals (rivals doesn't equate to enemies) on ice, they're also friends and it warms my heart to see them interact with each other and support each other as well :') it reminds me of Yuzuru and Shoma and I think once everyone gets to see Alina more they'll begin realizing that this huge Alina vs Evegnia thing media has going isn't fully representative of the relationship these girls have!
Well, that's just my own thoughts!!! Please continue to support your favorite skaters :'D
