Even more clues on Ezra?

Okay, even if A.D. is watching Ezra in the promo of 7x20, there are still many clues pointing at him for some reason. I’m just gonna post another one here.

In 7x19 we all noticed Alison writing all the names that she has gone by throughout the show and we also noticed one in particular: Emma Thorwald.

Some of you have already noticed that this name is from a certain movie from 1954 which is called “Rear Window”. I’m sorry for not giving you credit but I can’t find the exact post that I saw that so I’m just letting you know that the idea on the movie isn’t mine.

But, after reading that, and despite what’s going on in that movie, I noticed something very interesting in 7x19:

Rear Window is written outside the Brew and coincidentally Ezra is right below it. This must be a reference to the book that he was writing for Alison or something but still it’s weird to see these two together in one episode, especially when this scene with Ezra is right before the scene with the blackboard. And I just can’t ignore the fact that this might mean something otherwise why would they show it to us?

But then again, these might be clues on the real A.D. and they might just happen to appear in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or is it the right place and the right time? Just a thought…

Possible A.D. clues on 7x19

Okay, I’m just gonna put this out there although I haven’t concluded in anything major or legit yet.

I’m gonna start with a photo which were shown to us in the promo of 7x20 and which excludes even more characters of being A.D.

A.D. is clearly spying on these guys. You can see Toby, Ezra, Alison, Emily, probably Hanna on the left with Caleb by her side and I’m pretty sure the woman in the back is Spencer. Plus, I think Aria is sitting next to Ezra and we can’t see her fully but we do see her brown hair. So, now we are certain that A.D. isn’t one of the girls or the boyfriends unless someone among them can be in two places at the same time. Or unless it’s someone else who is looking for A.D. dressed in a black hoodie, since it was confirmed that they used two black hoodies in 7x20. Keep that in mind. But in this post I’m going to take as a fact that neither the girls nor the boyfriends are A.D.

On 7x19 we found out that Archer Dunhill’s body is currently in a house of a certain Carol Ward.

Let me refresh your memory on her, and trust me, I didn’t remember her either and I was always ignoring anything that had to do with her.

Carol Ward is Jason’s, Alison’s and CeCe’s aunt. She died of natural causes and we’ve never seen her face. The things we know about her are important considering the connection A.D. has with CeCe.

First, her house was the house that Jason desperately wanted but his mother, Jessica, didn’t want him to have it. We’ve seen Jessica DiLaurentis going to this house, cleaning it up and we’ve also seen Jason going there while she is there. On the same scene, by the way, Jessica forbade Jason from entering the house and we also saw that the house’s curtains were all closed and I remember believing (not sure if we saw it) that someone was in there.

Aside from the role of this house, Carol Ward was aware of Charles’ existence. She was even visiting Charles while the latter was in Radley. We also know that Charles’ grave is in the backyard of her house - the house that I mentioned above.

Another interesting thing is that the cellar where the Liars found all the files and which A.D. set on fire, was again Carol Ward’s cellar.

I don’t know if the whole existence of this aunt reveals us the identity of A.D. but if I have to start pointing fingers at someone, that would be Jason or Carol Ward herself. Considering we crossed out all the girls and the boyfriends after the scene above, Jason is now officially a major suspect since he is a DiLaurentis and also related to CeCe. Also in my previous post on Ezra, I made it clear that A.D. wanted Aria on his side maybe because he cares about her. Jason had a thing with Aria and I don’t see why this doesn’t make him a possible suspect of being A.D.

Plus, the fact that we’ve never seen Carol Ward’s face, makes me believe that if it’s her, she might be a familiar face that we might know by some other name. If that’s the case, for some reason, I’m thinking it might be Marion Cavanaugh since her and Jessica look so much alike and we already know that we will find out more about the night of her murder. And the other suspect on my list is Dr. Sullivan. You know why? Because I find it suspicious that the girls said that “Dr. Sullivan is on her way” and then we see A.D. travelling in his/her car.

Like I said, despite all the above, I don’t have anything concrete but for me all these make sense after 7x19. If I can put them on a theory with clues before 7x20 airs, I’ll make a post about it. Out of all these, though, Jason makes the most sense but you never know what the writers have in their minds.

in the video they said to read the product number backwards and it blew my mind i never would have thought of this

the number backwards says B26 and the first song that Aria and Ezra listen to is called B26 which ends up being Ezra’s passcode for his cabin

this at least shows that Ezra was involved in the dollhouse somehow if he’s not Uber A i can’t get over it i never would have noticed

Clues that Ezra is A.D.

On this post, I’m going to explain to you how I got to the conclusion that Ezra is in fact A.D. and how I think the final reveal will get unraveled. Before reading this, you should go check my theory on Ezra being A.D. and the story behind it.

I began to think that Ezra is A.D. after watching this scene from episode 7x12:

If you look closely behind Alison on the blackboard, you will see that there are two books mentioned with one quote below each of them and as a headline there is “Compare/Contrast”. The books are “Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare and “Winter’s Tale” by Mark Helprin.

The quote below “Twelfth Night” says “One face, one voice, one habit and two personalities”, while the other one below “Winter’s Tale” says “Though I am not naturally honest, I am sometimes so by chance”.

The story behind the “Twelfth Night” focuses on a woman who lost her twin brother and decided to disguise herself into a man and enters the service of Duke Orsino. In the end, she finds out that her twin brother is alive and the reveal happens during a wedding along with the reveal that she was pretending to be a man.

“Winter’s Tale” is about a man who has a guardian horse and one day he meets a woman and falls in love with her. But he learns that the woman is fatally ill and he loses her.

My first thought when I read the plot of the “Twelfth Night” was that CeCe has a twin brother. In my previous post about Ezra, I said that Ezra and CeCe became friends while he was searching the truth about what happened to Bethany. I will take a huge step here and claim that they are actually siblings.

I believe that Ezra met Bethany through CeCe. Not CeCe through Bethany. Minor change on my last post but I had to mention it.

My theory on Ezra got more heated when I came to the realization that the Liars keep bringing stuff to A.D. at school (read explanation for this in my previous post) and also when I saw this note ending up on Lucas hands along with the comic book that Aria stole:

And then I thought “I was right from the beginning”.

Let me explain. I believe that the man in the book “Winter’s Tale” represents Ezra being in love with Bethany who died. This might also give some light to the theories revolving around Bethany having a deformed face. Cause the girl in the book had a “disease”. The “disease” might also refer to Bethany being mentally ill.

Another reason I believe that this story is about some guy loving Bethany is the character of the horse. We all know Bethany loved horses. Plus, the quote below the book said “Though I am not naturally honest, I am sometimes so BY chance”. Notice the BY there? And if you go back to season 6B and rewatch the moment the girls confronted Ezra about the night CeCe died, he repeated the word “honest” a lot of times.

In order to connect “Twelfth Night” and Winter’s Tale, I had to take as a fact that Ezra is CeCe’s brother. I’m still not sure about that but if you check their ages, they are the same. And the biggest clue I got from the “Twelfth Night” was the fact that the reveal about the twins and the betrayal from the woman who was pretending to be a man, happened during a wedding. The only wedding we know is going to happen on 7x20 is Ezria’s wedding.

Which means that Ezra will be revealed as A.D. and CeCe’s brother and CeCe will confess of not being a transgender and the real Charles might be Ezra.

I had also discovered that there is a picture of Ezra covered in blood from the 7x20, plus, Aria wears her wedding ring on another photo from the 7x20. So, the wedding did happen. My guess is, the reveal will come after the quote “Until DeAth Do Us PArt”. Thus the title of 7x20. After that someone is going to shoot Ezra.

So, that’s all the clues I have so far. I might be wrong in the end but we won’t know it until we finally see it.

A.D. Theory

So, here’s my theory on who is A.D. and what is his story.

Ezra is A.D.

Here’s why.

Ezra was in love with Bethany a long time before the first episode of PLL starts. When Bethany went missing or died, he came to Rosewood (like we know from the first episode) to look for her. He became A and started to blackmail the girls so he can find out what happened to her. While he was at it, he met CeCe/Charles/Charlotte, who was friends with Bethany from a long time ago. He asked CeCe to help him find out what happened to Bethany that night, so CeCe became his helper (thus why we were shown two As for a long time, drinking together and making plans).

But, Bethany was pulled out of her grave. We saw someone pulling her out. Therefore, Bethany is alive. Ezra finds her but after a really long time.

I believe Nicole is in fact Bethany.

After having CeCe confess instead of him, he finds Bethany/Nicole and gets her back. Then he stops for 5 years.

After 5 years, CeCe got murdered and after he was thinking he was back with his sweetheart Bethany/Nicole, he loses her, too. So, he loses the last person close to him (CeCe) and he seeks revenge on CeCe’s killer.

That night after leaving Aria, he went to see CeCe on the bell tower. While leaving her, someone got up and pushed her. Ezra saw her falling, so he took her and took care of her and the body we saw in the casket wasn’t hers. It was someone else with a mask on. So, CeCe is alive. And she is probably living inside the dollhouse.

But Ezra wants to know who killed her cause he never saw him/her. Plus, why would Ezra show up in the trial if he didn’t have any connection to CeCe since he had broken up with Aria?

But, before he starts searching for the killer, Mary, Elliot and Spencer’s twin catch up to him. Spencer does have a twin and her goal is the same to Ezra’s, but they don’t work together. Ezra was just CeCe’s friend and Mary and Spencer’s twin are just her family. But, Ezra is the real A.D, not CeCe’s family.

Now it’s time to tell you something else. I believe that Mona killed CeCe and that’s why Mona is going to die. Cause A.D. is looking for CeCe’s killer and he wants to kill her. When he finds out it was Mona, he will kill her and that’s why in the Australian promo for 7x20 we see Mona saying “Are you here to kill me?”. And she is alone there. Maybe cause A.D. found out that it was her who killed CeCe and went to avenge her death by killing her.

Now, about the second comic book Arcturus. Lucas specifically said “it’s not a comic book, it’s a GRAPHIC NOVEL”. That smells like Ezra’s work. On the same episode we learned that Ezra was presenting his new book and was answering questions. But at the same time Ezra was there, Alison and Emily went to catch A.D. while delivering something A.D. asked them. Then someone bumps into Alison causing her to fall.

We later learn that this was actually Mona and not A.D.

Well of course it wasn’t A.D. cause A.D. was busy presenting his new book.

Ezra simply learned about the first comic book from CeCe when they were working together. After learning about the second unfinished book, he decided to end it and make it a major graphic novel cause, well, it will be based on true events (the things he is going to do to the girls). The book is going to be probably about Ezra (A.D.) protecting CeCe in the process.

Also, A.D. wanted Aria specifically to join him. Why would A.D. make an offer specifically to Aria? Well, cause either he is someone who cares about her or someone related to her. Or both (when the time comes). So, Ezra being A.D. wants Aria to join him so that she can understand in the end why he did all those things (otherwise why would she get married to him in the end?). He also has to persuade her to join him somehow and that’s why he is blackmailing her with the file (in which I believe whatever is in there, he understands why she had to do it and he doesn’t even care at all).

And finally, my biggest concern was the fact that every time A.D. asks something from the girls through the game or outside the game, all the times he wants them to put it/them in a locker in the school. Now, who would have so much access to a school (and so much secret places like opening a locker from behind and steal whatever is in the locker or put whatever he wants in the locker)?
