The hilarious thing about watching people talk about their experiences with pokemon go is that I just keep remembering all the edgy ‘realistic’ pokemon reinterpretations that used to go around, and how ‘no the pokemon world would be SO DARK you guys’.
And now there are people going around IRL catching pokemon and they’re just like ‘I WENT OUT AND MADE TWENTY NEW FRIENDS AND FOUND AN EEVEE AND EEVEE IS ALSO MY FRIEND!!!’
So it seems the pokemon setting actually was pretty damn accurate.

I like Dragon Age because if you want to know everything about Dragon Age you have to
play three 80-hour video games (plus DLC) which eventually turns into like 500+ hours of play time if you want to see everything.
watch a whole entire actual anime
watch a web series
read five novels
play the tabletop RPG (or read all the material)
read the comic books
read the 3 huge reference books
Like you think you’re just going to play fun games. But no, this is dragon school, and we’ve got mysterious dragon homework, we must crack the dragon secrets

B) The name is an obvious pun
C) The name is a not so obvious pun
D) It just sounded cool
E) I named them after someone
F) They just needed a name and I thought up a random name

I live!
Yes ok, been a couple of months since I poked my head in last. So. Here's the deal.
Lace is an idiot. Lace works a job she loves for a boss she wants to strangle because she wants to go to college. Yeah. College is a thing we do now. Lace has a sidejob doing Lyft, because them bills need paid.
Lace has no life. Lace has come to grips with that. But Lace has made one of those silly New Year Resolutions.
Lace is going to write a fic just for her. She is going to finish it, because it will be a majestic unicorn that fills Lace with the giggles and the joy. You know, like when Lace was younger and thought writing was fun and not a chore. So, Lace has got her a fancy refillable travel notebook and a fancy fountain pen with ink the color of blood, and Lace is gonna write a thing.
A new thing done on paper and copied into some form of technology. It will be majestic and ridiculous and Lace is going to have fun doing it.
But the important part is that I am alive and going to actually communicate with the world again.
