When a man rejects God, he rejects also his humanity.
To believe that man is made in God's image is to believe that man is created for communion and union with God, and that if he rejects this communion he ceases to be properly man.

My First Catholic Mass Experience
From the moment I stepped into the beautiful church, I was greeted with warmth and acceptance that made me feel like I was wrapped in pure love and happiness. When I sat among the congregation, I couldn't help but be amazed by the beauty all around me. The soft candlelight and the heavenly organ created a dreamlike atmosphere.
During the service, I was engrossed in a feeling of reverence and devotion. The rituals and prayers that were once unfamiliar were spectacular to see. And in that moment, I felt a deep sense of belonging that I had been searching for.
One of the best parts of my experience was talking to a Deacon. Despite my nerves, they welcomed me with open arms and listened to me with genuine interest. As the Mass came to an end, I felt a bit sad to leave behind such a divine experience.
However, I now carried with me a newfound sense of purpose and belonging. Thinking about potentially attending Mass again in the morning fills me with excitement and anticipation. This experience is something I will treasure in my heart forever.
My first Catholic Mass was not just a religious ceremony—it was a transformation that touched my soul in ways I never imagined. I am grateful.
