It's hard to just announce to strangers that I'm disabled, that as someone who needs help I know all the right answers, but it doesn't mean I'm somehow magically healthy. I've been through a lot and I was very alone for all of it. Now life has gotten better, as promised, through a combination of meds, experience, and the very fact that yes, that was the worst day/month/year of my life, and now that it's past I'm over the mountain; it cannot be that bad again, because I've survived it and now know how to do it again. If you need help, please don't be alone. Whether it's on the internet, your friends and family, myself the concerned stranger, please ask for help and I promise, someone will help you. When you're depressed, pretend you are your best friend and help that person, that person who absolutely deserves it, and keep pretending until it's true.

So this isn't really an ask, I guess. I work in retail, just a general store on tills. And we have a kids section, and we sell dinosaurs. Every time I see a kid come up with a dinosaur I always think of Wexter and ask the kid what they're naming theirs. Dino. Puggle Sir Roar is probably my favourite. Thank you for sharing Wexter with the world, she brings a smile to my face quite often, and asking these kids about their dinos brings a smile to their face. :)
