* i didn’t actually know what this meant, so i thought i’d clarify it here rq (from wikipedia): “A dead heat is a rare situation in various racing sports in which the performances of competitors are judged to be so close that no difference between them can be resolved.”
** he says an idiom here that translated to “you can’t achieve it even if you do a handstand”. or something. it’s weird! but it made more sense to me to just put what it actually means, since i couldn’t think of a similar idiom used in english.
ALSO in general i am not as confident with this translation as i usually am T_T...but there’s not much i can do about that right now. if you notice any errors when compared to the JP script, please let me know!
