I’m not sure if I got it right lol. I mean this “upside down” part is a bit unclear for me. But I did my best. I actually really like this one. It’s melancholic and sad: Katniss is away in her thoughts about Prim (she is holding primroses) after working hard on a Memory Book, and Peeta is just quietly comforting her. ♥️

nothing brings me more peace than knowing that katniss everdeen spends the rest of her life eating warm cheese buns and being held every night by a man who loves her more than life itself. she deserves everything

Everyone keeps talking about Katniss’s reaction to Peeta’s eyelashes but I think my favourite ‘moment of denial’ is when she’s hurt and confused that Peeta hasn’t hugged or kissed her since the Quell announcement as if that’s something she should expect out of her ‘not boyfriend.’ She is SO offended. Not even a hug???

Oh god. What was Peeta thinking about during the night Katniss was dreaming about their kids?

Just think about it. Katniss, peacefully fantasizing about playing with Peeta’s kids which are obviously hers and Peeta’s just… guarding with Finnick. Definitely worried about getting killed, how to keep Katniss alive, and definitely still thinking about the conversation they just had. Thinking about how to get her to go home and be with Gale. Completely confused about the fact that Katniss just expressed her emotions as directly as she ever had before, yet, they’re in the middle of the games. Was that even real.

Oh god the implications. The writing prompts. The angst.
