it is beyond disingenuous at this point to center the conversation about israel-palestine on hamas. it is unacceptable. it is actively harmful to the people of palestine who are fighting to survive an ongoing genocide. the state violence and ethnic cleansing inflicted on palestinians by the israeli military & by israeli settlers predates, by far, the existence of hamas. what the state of israel has done from its conception in 1948, the nakba, is beyond the scope of language. the catastrophe. 750000 palestinians displaced, dispossessed of their homes, stripped of their rights, subjected to every unimaginable type of violence, unlawfully detained, separated from their families, prohibited from leaving, prohibited from returning. held walking distance from the place they grew up, never able to go back. harassed by israeli soldiers and settlers. indiscriminately killed. incarcerated. unable to attain the same workers' rights. forced to endure the burning of their villages, of their olive trees, of their gardens, of their homes. and still they survive, they resist, they endure.

this conflict, this genocide, this occupation did not begin on october 7th, 2023. this conflict, this genocide, this occupation did not begin with hamas. the apartheid state of israel exists and has existed since 1948 through means of settler colonialism; it maintains its power through brutal state violence. it is delusional to believe that the inherent violence of a state conceived in settler colonialism will not beget more violence.

The way they're acting like "ceasefire" means "go blow yourselves up" is just. A ceasefire is nothing. It's less than the bare minimum. It's not "rebuild what you destroyed." It's not "pay the victims remaining of the families you killed." It's not "rehabilitate Gaza." It's not any of the demands that could be made in this situation. It's just... Stop. Stop killing them. And even that is treated like it's so fucking extreme and if you call for it you must want Jews to die. Politicians with an agenda can really demonize anything.

39 premie babies lacking incubators and pro lifers are silent. Gazan women giving birth under bombs and hellfire, having to go through c-sections and even hysterectomies under terrible conditions because doctors don't have the material they need to stop bleeding and pro lifers and white feminists are silent. There's little to no menstrual care products in Gaza and white feminists are silent. Pregnant women in awful living conditions and pro lifers and white feminists are silent. Israel is using white phosphorus which is known to cause birth defects and poison soil and pro lifers and environmentalists are silent.

Israeli forces (backed by Joe Biden) invaded al-Shia hospital last night because they where convinced Hamas is using medical complexes for military purposes. For over 10 hours patients, staff and refugees were interrogated and over 200 civilians were blindfolded, stripped naked and detained in the hospital yard. They shot at anyone moving in the hospital trying to leave and the power, oxygen and water was cut off. There was no evidence found that the hospital was used by Hamas in any way, but Israel has not addressed that yet. Israel also made a statement that they brought baby food and incubators into the hospital, but all sources from inside the hospital say no aid was given- which besides being a false claim, what al-Shifa needs is electricity (which Israel cut off) not incubators.

Because of lack of fuel and reliance on batteries, Gaza is currently hours away from a complete communications blackout and I am afraid of what other lies and propaganda Israel will try to spread while Palestine is forced to be silent.
