Although we managed to witness the return of some incredible parties this year, looking back, it’s safe to say that it’s been a really challenging one for us both.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ After suffering with headaches for 6 months, having zero energy and losing half of my vision… I was diagnosed with a macroadenoma, a ‘golf ball’ sized tumour at the base of my brain pressing against my optic nerve and wreaking havoc with my adrenal hormone function.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It’s been difficult to try and adapt to a new way of life but I have to constantly remind myself just how lucky I am to still be here and have the incredible support of my close friends and family. It’s been a very humbling reminder of just how precious life is. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It crossed my mind whether to bother with a post like this but talking about these things openly can be quite therapeutic and my door is always open to anyone who wants to talk.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The road to recovery might take some time… but I really hope to be able to rejoin Luke on the road again soon and get back to doing the one thing I love most 💪 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ve come to learn that this life is all about following your dreams, creating as many incredible memories as you possibly can and having no regrets at the end of it all!⁣ ⁣⁣ No doubt 2022 will be a work in progress… but let’s hope it’s a better year than the last 🍻 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Jack (one half of KUSP) x (at The Pituitary Foundation (UK)) https://www.instagram.com/p/CXn1wvUAMhk/?utm_medium=tumblr
