she was so, so confused. she wanted to do everything well. she wanted to be smart and so much more than she was capable of. her chest was aching at the thought of leaving everyone but it hurt more leaving cassie. they’ve barely known each other for long and she could remember every single detail about her. and she cared so, so much and wanted to be with her but it was hard to think of a way out of everything when she felt she wasn’t good enough. when she heard and felt cassidy rise from the bed and walk away from her, she was struck with the image of the other leaving her and it was enough for her to look up from the book she was stubbornly and desperately trying to comprehend.
“i just want you, cassie. i just asked to...” she didn’t dare say the word again, afraid she would be faced with rejection once again. she watched and listened while she gripped her book tightly, knuckles turning white. she was holding her breath, stopping herself from speaking. it was as if her voice was no longer there, words stuck on the tip of her tongue. was she asking for too much this time? maybe cassie didn’t like her anymore and this was her way of telling her in a nice way. before she could stop herself, the tears were falling. her mind had wandered to a plane of negative thoughts and she couldn’t get herself out of it.
but it was those words that made her confused again. she didn’t want to lose her. i love you. her eyes widened as she tried to soak everything up. her mind worked in a way that most did not. the simple things that most people understood was not understood by her so simply. she was silent. her face changing into that of surprise. her mouth hung open and her grip loosened. she remembered. she remembered her looking at another. katy knew -- a fact she hid in the farthest and darkest corners of her mind -- that she only stole cassidy from someone. she knew that each day she was with her, she was only stealing time. “you have that other girl. the one who’s always smiling. what am i?” what am i compared to that? her tone had taken a bitter edge. “you don’t love me the same way.” even if i leave, you will still have her.
“see, if i fail the exams and leave she can stay here, you won’t miss her and she won’t miss you. when i’m in wonderland, i’ll be back to being my old self. i’m not quire sure if the mad can remember the time when they were still human. but it will be for the best. i don’t like remembering how pretty i was and then looking at my feline form.” katy was babbling. nervous, without context and meaning. she was convincing herself that this was the best option because she was afraid that she will fail the exams after she put in so much effort into being smart. she was afraid of disappointing cassidy, leaving her alone and so she took it upon herself to convince the other that there were better things out there. better people.
who knew that she had so little faith in herself? left bare without her make-up on, she was nothing after all. “besides, it’s not like i like it here...i...” by this point, katy had very little control over her emotions. she was crying without noticing and only stopped when she had difficulty breathing. snot was running down her nose. i want to stay beside you. i want to be with you longer. even after exams, sports fest, balls and graduation. i just want to be with you.
「A LITTLE FALL OF RAIN」⇣⇣ cassie x katy
when katy acted like this, cassidy usually had the utmost patience to deal with it. she used tenderness, and she knew that was what katy wanted, and everything would be right with the world again–but the girl needed something else. cassidy, not in her proper mental state, did not want to handle any of this right now, but the fact that she even agreed to help katy study should be a tell-tale sign that she cared–she cared so much, and didn’t want katy out of the academy. that tell-tale sign, obviously, katy did not read. cassidy abhorred whiners, and katy was one majority of the time. seeing the girl like this right now, cassidy wanted to tell her she was sorry, she loved her, but her tolerance was wearing thin, and she was nothing but irritable.
“oh, katy, don’t do this right now,” cassidy said instead, apology stuck in her throat, her temper taking over. she watched katy’s movements, and despite the fear and caution that the girl exhibited, cassidy couldn’t think straight, couldn’t form words that seeped affection and love, the words she greeted katy with every morning, and bid her every night. running a hand through her hair, she pushed herself off of the bed, her other hand ran over her face, uncaring that her eyeliner may have smudged. “seeing as you can apparently study by yourself now, there you go.” she gestured to her notes, scattered around her bed. “study. unless you want to get kicked out, then, you know, that’s going to be your problem. i’m just trying to fucking help here, katy.”
cassidy breathed in, putting her face into her hands, trying to calm down. “we can’t always do what you want, okay?” she said, dropping her hands back to her sides. “it’s not a fucking walk in the park, katy. i can’t always miraculously save you all the time, because once you’re out of here, you’re out. and i can’t… i fucking can’t–” words abandoned her, and there was only anger, confusion, a tinge of regret. cassidy wondered why she got caught up in this–why she got caught up in her. she walked away from the bed, pacing a bit, before her feet led her to the vanity, where she sat down, elbows on the table, and her head in her hands.
“i can’t fucking lose you, katy.” how many times was she going to say the girl’s name, cassidy didn’t know, but it came to her so naturally. her name–kaitlyn rae holloway herself–was now a part of her. but if she was going to lose another person she cared about, then so be it–god let it happen now than later. “you’re… you’re so annoying sometimes, you know? but i like you that way. i love you. so if it’s so easy for you to just laze the fuck around all day, then, shit, katy, do you even care that you’re going to leave me behind if you fuck up?”

it was her tone that woke her from her daydreaming. her name wasn’t as soft as a caress when she said her name. maybe she was being too jumpy. or sensitive. she absent-mindedly nuzzled cassidy’s hand but only for a few seconds before she felt the coldness from being separated from her warmth. she turned, looked into her eyes. Her own were wide, glassy and afraid. usually cassidy would have said yes to lying down and just talking. even if the topic was something no one else would’ve had the patience to hear from katy.
“why are you saying things like that?” she asked in a voice that wasn’t her own. hearing her own fears come from another’s lips caused them to feel more real and more likely to happen. how could she pass all of her subjects when she barely had the attention span to do so? it was a lost case, surely. she could feel hear heart beating inside her chest, could feel cassidy’s gaze on her. she didn’t want to not look at her eyes in the future. she wouldn’t have any of that. but cassidy was not  being herself. she knew that she was troubled. but she had nothing to do with it. why was she talking to her like this?
katy pulled away from cassidy, not wanting to be near her in her current state. she was being childish but she didn’t have time to reflect on her actions. much less her words. she looked at cassidy with hurt in her eyes. “i just wanted to cuddle,” she said bitterly, turning away from the other to take her bag and zip it open. she took out her school supplies one by one and sat in an indian position, reading her thick biology book. but the words did not register. her eyes were simply dancing on the page. she clenched it tightly while her mind wandered.
usually they were filled with dolls, pastel and clothes. cassie, perry, or alexa. jinx, her beloved brother. and many other things. but today they were as dark as she began to think about what would happen in the future. she could feel tears forming in her eyes but she fought it back. she would not cry because of this. instead, she focused on reading some more, her eyes drifting sideways to the other girl then back to the book.
「A LITTLE FALL OF RAIN」⇣⇣ cassie x katy
despite cassidy’s arms making their way around katy’s waist (mostly on instinct), the girl let out an exasperated sigh. katy was fun. lots of fun. and cassidy adored her, accepted her, and loved her deeply. but katy was also exhausting, she was stubborn, and although she listened to cassidy for the most part, katy had to be urged and pushed and convinced. it was time for exams, and if someone asked cassidy for help, she willingly does so, but she was serious, and wanted things done immediately.
“katy.” her voice was stern now, but she didn’t let go of the other girl, even pulled her closer to her, voice soft, and warm breath brushing against katy’s cheek. “you can’t keep making excuses like that. otherwise, you’re going to fail, and you know what that means, right?” cassidy pulled back with furrowed eyebrows, frustration etched on her face. she looked directly at katy. “bye bye, perry. bye bye, elias.” a pause, not once looking away. “and, bye bye, cassie.”
this, cassidy knew, was being too hard on the poor, delicate katy, but she couldn’t help it. troian could stay in elias forever, but she wouldn’t even show herself to cassidy anymore. now, katy could get expelled for failing because she was too distracted–too vain. was she willing to lose katy so easily because of her own fault? cassidy wasn’t having any of this right now. “if you want to study, let’s do it now.”

Katy saw her enter the club room and was about to run faster than she ever had in her life when she started walking towards her. Suddenly nervous that she was caught staring, she pretended to stay still, not breathing even. She also pretended to look at anywhere but the girl in front of her. Perhaps she would let Katy take the first move if she wished for it hard enough. Suddenly, she regretted not staying in Wonderland where it was much easier to make use of her powers. Eventually, the distance between them closed and she could feel the other club members pile up in the room.
It shocked the Holloway further when the pretty girl sat beside her. She even turned to her and she could feel her eyes on her. It was hard not to look back at her and she already had her hands clenched into tiny fists. Her nails made with Japanese nail art sunk into her skin painfully. Cons of having long nails. Katy waited and prayed that she would just let her sit here and bother her instead but instead, she spoke. And she couldn’t just shut up after being spoken to. “It is,” she said with more conviction than she felt. “Important, I mean. You shouldn’t have approached me! I do that. Now I’m not feeling comfortable with how I will approach you...”
With a sigh, Katy closed her eyes and tilted her head back, taking deep breaths. Honestly, she didn’t know why she was acting this way. She didn’t know a lot of things. But one thing was for sure and that was she wanted to be friends with the girl now sitting beside her. “I want us to be friends,” she said, opening her eyes to look at her. “You’re always alone. I want you to not be alone. And you’re really pretty. I want to do your make-up. Uhm...dress up? Do you like dress up?”

I missed them, too. You and Cassie are the only ones who appreciate my presence. ( / her words held a hint of spite, remember how her sister was practically forced to hang out with her but they were a mere whisper, feeling any ill feeling disappear with a simple pat ) He sure has to. I haven’t made him a proper gift in a while. And I’ve spent lots for his doll. ( / she says this with a small smile, the nickname making her smile even wider ) Really? I work on them really hard. It’s really difficult to make it very pretty. When I mess up, I have to start over and it’s not always easy to remove the paint. ( / frowns, running her thumb habitually against the other’s hand that she held ) Where have you been, though? Busy?
It really has been, hasn’t it? I’ve missed our girl bonding sessions terribly. / she holds onto the other for another moment and indulges the Cheshire with a few more seconds of petting before they were on their way to the dorms / I’m sure Jinx will adore whatever it is that you make, Twinsie. I mean the mere mention of you has him all smiling and whatnot. / affection is obvious in her voice as she talks of the older Holloway and their intertwined hands sway as they walk / Speaking of dolls, the ones you make are the still the prettiest I’ve seen.

It was one of those mornings where she absolutely needed at least two hours to get ready. The weather was causing her skin to break out and her hair looked devastatingly flat. No matter how much she teased and curled it with her curling iron, nothing seemed to work. In the end, she had to braid it so that it didn’t look horrifying. Once she was done, she took out all her clothes from her closet and tried to find something that would make her uniform look the least bit fashionable.
She decided a fancy brooch would be nice and left her closet hanging open with its innards out. Cassie will surely get mad at her later but she had other priorities at the moment. She grabbed her bag and slung it on, closing the door behind her when she went outside. She walked a few steps when suddenly she saw someone. A gasp left her lips and she stormed to approach the other. She was carrying her bags that looked very heavy and she was concerned. Not about the bags, but her hair.
“YOU CAN’T RUIN A GIRL’S BAD HAIR DAY BY COPYING HER HAIRSTYLE!” She accused, pointing at her without any restraint. Her braid was nicely done except messy and all over the place. Hers was neat and prettier with a small clip on the side to make it pop out more. She was not having this, not today. Had it been tomorrow she would have let her but not today. “What’s your name anyways? And what year are you in? How can you not know the girl code?!” Question after question was said with such intensity she was left slightly panting after. “Now I have to go back and cha-- No. You have to change. You’re the one who suddenly popped out of nowhere and ruined everything!”
☽ she’s probably a serial killer || charlotte x katy
Really, was it absolutely necessary for her mother to pack up this much belongings in her suitcase? It was not unlike dragging a newly-chopped block of ice whenever Kristoff would let her tag along for the recent harvest. Despite not having to feel the biting cold aggravate her task, though, Charlotte still found her luggage needlessly loaded. The Arendelle native had a hard time maneuvering it as she trudged along the hallways, the suitcase twisting sideways due to its bulky weight. She loved her mother, really, and she was aware that Anna had packed lots of her stuff because the older woman wanted her daughter to be prepared for her schooling. But, it was a bit hard for Charlotte to think about that concern when her arm eventually grew tired and her neatly braided hair had become slightly disheveled and sweaty due to her attempts to drag the suitcase in one piece (preferably both of them, and not just either one). Sighing for the umpteenth time, the strawberry blonde continued on her rather tedious journey to her assigned room.

“hm?” she asked innocently as he called her name, feeling quite comfortable in her position. “oh.” realization hit her and she tried to loosen her arms around his neck. the action did cause her to tighten her legs around the other’s waist. she wasn’t athletic and she honestly didn’t dream to be but she did have pretty strong thighs. it would be enough to hold her for probably a minute or two. “there, you can breathe now, sebby.” it sounded more like she was allowing him to breathe rather than it being normal. maybe.
she instead put her hands on his shoulders, holding onto the material of his shirt. “you have to grab hold of my legs so we don’t fall,” she said without as much as a hint of shame. like it was simply a fact that the other had to deal with. but then again with this position she wouldn’t be able to stare at his face which was the only redeeming factor about him aside from his hair. it looked soft and nice to touch so he petted it before she hopped off of him.
quickly, she ran so that she was standing right in front of him. she was smaller than he was and she had to crane her neck upwards to fully look at him. even in his distress, he still looked pretty. he was just missing that one final tool to make him look even prettier. smiling, she took off her bag and put it on the floor. zipping it open, she took out a few of her things. notebooks, pencils, trash, a spare change of clothes and shoes and a few crtumpled pieces of papers after she found it.
“tada!” she presented, handing sebastian a flower crown she made on her own. it was made with flowers she saw in vases around the academy. and they matched as well which made her very excited. “one for you ando ne for me! it’ll look nice once we have it on for our date.”

“Well I gave you my name, haven’t I? There’s nothing else to call me other than Kaitlyn or Katy. So the choice is yours,” she said, waving a dismissive hand back and forth. “And how rude is it to not introduce yourself in the first five to ten minutes of knowing someone? Americans, you see. No manners.” Her words were thick with prejudice and bitterness. This girl was so pretty she wished to peel her face off and stick it into one of the faceless dolls she bought recently. Yet the purpose of approaching her was still clear to her (though slowly unfocusing) and she wasn’t about to back down until she got what she wanted.
Her motions were almost robotic, her words equally so. Suddenly, Katy felt bored just talking to her. What was so special about her that made her approach her in the first place? She was quiet, said very few words but she saw a hint of character the day. So she held on to that hope and pushed on with a determined look on her face. “No, I do not have the wrong person. I’m not that old to not remember what you look like. I’ve seen you the other day. You took something, didn’t you? I couldn’t see what it was but I know you did it.”
Katy took a breath, trying to slow down her words. She was talking too fast again. Excitement made her do so. She squinted at the girl in front of her after. “It was fast and the person barely noticed. I want to learn that. It’s my life goal. My aspiration. Except being a fashion designer and possibly making my own doll collection. The last one I’m working on.”
「AGILITY TEST」⇣⇣ isla x katy
To say that this girl’s attitude had left her discombobulated was an understatement; everyone in this academy was bizarre in one way or another so she shouldn’t even be as surprised as she was now. It was the girl who had approached her first – stalked, actually – and yet here she was, acting all defensive. She had introduced herself, of course, perhaps as means of being polite, but Isla wasn’t convinced by the acting. And if she squinted or maybe stared a little longer, the face before her did somehow remind her of someone. It was at the tip of her tongue, she could almost feel it, but it dissipated instantaneously like snowflake on a heater.
“What am I supposed to call you then?” Isla didn’t even bother to conceal the bewilderment dripping off of her voice. Hell, she wasn’t even sure if she should be answering her other questions that seemed to be laced with venom. A wrong word could prove to be dangerous in this matter. So she opted for silence instead and let the other continue. She did appear to have a number of things to say; she looked somewhat agitated. But when she stopped, Isla cocked an eyebrow, head tilted slightly to the side as she inspected the girl and allowed the words to settle, to be broken apart into smaller fragments and deciphered.
In the end, she still hadn’t a clue as to what the other wanted, what she meant about learning to do the things she do. The girl just hadn’t quite stated what they were specifically. If she had asked in a nicer way, maybe Isla would consider it, relented even if she found no harm in the deed ( if she knew what it was ). Again, she copied the girl’s stance: folding her arms across her chest and leaning back. “You’re very strange. Maybe you have the wrong person.”

when her affections weren’t returned even with a single touch, alarm signals went haywire inside katy’s head. she watched as her roommate slowly and without her usual energy, sat up. she wasn’t sure what it was but it made her nervous the way the other was acting. sure, they barely talked these past few days but she was busy. she didn’t have time to notice. but now that her pure focus was on cassidy, she could feel mroe than she could see her growing farther away.
“i...biology. i can handle history,” she said, her stomach turning. why was she speaking in such a weird voice? it lacked the warm tone that she often used around her. come to think of it, katy hasn’t been in the room with her for long but she felt as if she wasn’t welcome. but the moment cassidy reached out for her -- even that mere action -- made her feel lighter somehow. the smile helped as well. and maybe she was also foolish but she was back to how she was in mere seconds. “but i was lazy and my nails were pretty. it was difficult to hold the pen.” she added the last sentence with a small frown and she moved closer to hug the other.
“can we rest first before we work?” she asked in a small voice. “i feel like lying down with you and catching up. i promise i’ll remember everything you say. and if i try and escape, you know how to make me stay.” she laughed and kissed the other’s  cheek before she rested her chin on top of her shoulder. “i took a bath at midnight,” she added lazily, eyes already closing. she was ready for the other’s yes. they would sleep that day all day and immediately regret it the next day, blaming it on each other and they would fight a little but it won’t last for more than three minutes. this brought a smile on her face.
「A LITTLE FALL OF RAIN」⇣⇣ cassie x katy
“i’m,” a pause. cassidy cleared her throat. “i’m fine, katy.” slowly, almost weakly, cassidy pushed herself up to a sitting position, her legs bent on either side of her as she ran a hand through her jet-black hair, messing up her bangs. cassidy lacked the capacity to care much today. she skipped basketball practice, and didn’t bother passing by the news room to submit her articles. she was going to do the latter tomorrow, planning to study today. none of them were going quite as planned. cassidy just wanted to sleep.
“what subject did you need help with?” she asked, seemingly distracted. “if we have it together, i can probably lend you my notes.” effortlessly, she reached out, remembered that katy thrived on affection, and brushed a few strands of hair out of her face. cassidy managed a tired smile, added, “i told you to take notes, katy. mine aren’t always complete, you know.”

A gasp left Katy’s lips as she took out a dress filled with frills and ribbons on the side. A lolita style dress that had a matching headband. It was in white, black and teal and she thought it would compliment her sister’s complexion really well. “But these do resemble our uniforms? With these things Perry you have to be a bit clever. Just change out that dull skirt with something that’s almost alike with a touch of something special. It did come from eBay, after all. From a reliable seller.” To her she sounded as logical as any normal person and with a matching serious face, she hoped to convince her sister.
She took the dress and walked to where the other was, holding it in front of her body for her to see. “I bet this would look pretty on you, Perry. Remember how we always envied that old woman Alice’s dresses?” She asked with a small twirl. “Hm...I don’t remember. I sold a few dresses that were too boring. Then...” A laugh slipped past her lips, eyes twinkling with mischief. “Oh don’t think about those things, Perrianne.”  Eagerly, she tore open another box with her scissors and her hands, a frown on her lips as one of her nails broke. But it wasn’t the priority at the moment as she looked at the contents of the box. “Silly Perry. I haven’t commited a crime yet,” she said sweetly, looking up at her sister. “You know what’s inside this box?”
Grin much like their father’s, she took the box and settled it down beside Perry. Inside were an assortment of much smaller dresses and a few boxes carefully wrapped. She knew the other would understand the moment she saw them. These were, after all, one of the few things they bonded about. And she was excited to show the other her new playthings.
「DRESS UP」⇣⇣ perry x katy
She doesn’t get it. She really doesn’t get how the sarcasm, the fake enthusiasm, the obvious lack of interest in what her sister has to offer was brushed off just like that. This is why Perriane rarely prays to whoever god she believes in, knowing that even though she kneels by her bed every night, there’s no helping the lost cause that is her life. Don’t get it wrong, she loves her sister dearly, but Kaitlyn doesn’t seem to believe it whenever Perriane talks about her preference of buying manga over shopping. “I bet they are.” It was all she could come up with. Perriane owns quite a few dresses, and it’s mainly either from her sister or a gift from a distant friend who has yet to be acquainted with her clothing style.
“As much as I’m dying to wear what you picked out for me, I doubt we’re allowed to attend classes with anything but our uniform.” She allowed her sister to pull on her, immune to the process they go through whenever the elder has done some shopping. It would be a lie if she says she doesn’t feel even the slightest of excitement. Maybe this time Kaitlyn actually chose a dress she’ll approve of. Maybe. Without ever so much of a peep of a complain from her, she took the pair of scissors from her sister and began cutting across the top of one box, careful with her grip. “How much did you spend this time?” She asked, only then noticing the crime scene happening beside her. “Oh my god, Katy! What has the poor box ever done to you? You’re gonna ruin your dress if you continue that.”

fear drove her to do extreme things. it was a miracle that she even felt and knew what it was, always diving head on without hesitance. yet the thought of being cast away was enough for katy to obediently -- yes -- follow cassie’s words. for she did not slow down and always lived a fast paced life. even her steps were slow and the way she hopped onto her roommate’s bed was careful. there was something wrong with her but she was too preoccupied with exams that she did not notice it clearly enough.
“i--” a loss for words, she looked down at her prettily polished nails that she used an hour on each hand. miraculously enough, it turned out lovely. she took off her bagpack and zipped it open, eyes on the contents. it was as messy as her wardrobe. notes did not exist, all crumpled. she took a chance and picked up her notebook, only to see various drawings of anime-like figures. there was a reason why she needed smart friends. she closed her bagpack again and looked at cassie’s form, feeling uncomfortable and strange. “i don’t have any notes, cassie. they’re all crumpled up and i’ve been skipping classes and no one’s there to give me notes,” she said apologetically.
seeking the other’s reassurance -- perhaps a pat on the head? -- due to stress, she put her bag down on the floor and reached out to run her fingers against the other’s silky smooth hair. it escaped her fingers easily and the mere act of touching even a single part of the other, calmed her. soon enough, she felt a smile form on her lips. katy was easy. she was too easy to read. transparent and pure. “my cassie...are you feeling bad too? no energy? do you want me to get you something? i can run to the cafeteria to get you something quick.”
「A LITTLE FALL OF RAIN」⇣⇣ cassie x katy
cassidy had lost it. she had been gradually slipping into a daze for the last few days, and although it was not entirely obvious at first, even to her closest friends, that day she woke up, and didn’t even want to get up. had depression hit her? maybe. she had lost her sense of purpose. troian was her purpose, her major reason to be in the academy – but the superhero-to-be had steven now. cassidy despised steven; he took all her time. cassidy herself had been busy. aside from the text messages they send each other, they basically hadn’t seen each other in days, the time they spent together becoming less and less as they get attached to other people. cassidy wasn’t sure if she liked that–
–especially now that exams were coming up. she couldn’t concentrate at all. after class, she immediately headed back to her dorm room, grabbed her world history notes from her bag, and plopped down on her bed, notes lying beside her face. she had no motivation now. she felt her phone sinking into waist, buried deep in the pocket of her uniform blazer. maybe she should call her best friend, ask how she’s doing, tell her that steven wasn’t the guy for her, and that cassidy had been there all along…
only the voice of reason as to why she could not do that burst into the room–her love, her precious kaitlyn rae. cassidy shifted on her bed, buried her face into her mattress. “slow down, katy,” she mumbled, voice muffled. “which subject do you need help with?” she raised a hand lazily. “c’mere. bring your notes.”

there was little room to worry about anything else. this was it, the fear creeping inside the hollow of her bones, making her shiver. it made her stiffen in her seat, eyes wide and breath shallow. ah yes.
this is it.
the fear of exams.
she had forgotten it. caught in other things such as cuddling with her lovely cassie, making a doll that looked exactly like her brother, jinx, and asking random people to teach her how to be stealthy. classes were missed as well as tests that will prove her competance (or lack thereof). she had exactly a week to review for the first of her many subjects. why did she take world history again? so here she was, in a life and death situation that will determine her future.
probably not since people in wonderland didn’t really care whether you had a diploma or not.
she was asked by their advisor to do her very best for the exams and maybe she won’t be kicked out. her instant reaction was she didn’t really care whether or not she was kicked out. but then her mind wandered further to the consequences . so she immediately ran out of the classroom and to the girl’s dormitory. only one person would have the patience to deal with her endless questions and tantrums.
“cassie!” she shouted loudly once she pushed the door open, rushing to where her roommate was. “i need your help. i’m going to get banished from here if i don’t do well on the exams and i’ll never see you again. or skye, alexa, jiji and perry. and wonderland is too boring. please, please, please help me.”

( / ; the kiss form the other made katy’s face brighten and the longer she was with the other, the better she felt strangely ) And I missed you! I It’s so boring without you, twinsie. Perry’s been away doing whatever and Skye is being mean to me as always. You and Cassie are the only people I can trust. ( / ; she huffed with her eyes closed though it only lasted a few seconds ) REALLY?! Oh boy. It’ll be the best doll ever. I have the parts ready and the pain. They were really expensive but if it’s for Jiji I don’t mind. ( / ; she took the other’s hand without another word and pulled her towards her room, grinning widely )
Aww, don’t be like that, Katy! / she grins, turning around in the back hug to face the other girl and wrap her arms around the other in a tight hug / Do you know how much I missed you? It should be illegal what you did. / she gave the other girl another squeeze and a kiss on the cheek to match before pulling way / That’s an of course to both questions. Do you want to come over to my room to do them? I’m sure Perry wouldn’t mind.

the sour face marvin had on didn’t faze katy one bit. she was happy to see him even if the feeling wasn’t mutual. side stepping him, she entered the club room, wrinkling her nose as she smelled the faint scent of sweat. and tears, maybe. it was the drama club after all. she looked back at marvin, raising a brow. “you’re practicing your lines?” she asked, genuinely curious. she looked around the club room, dancing and humming. “i thought you were going to call me to practice with you. i did well the last time i helped you, right?”
without waiting for an answer to her question, she hopped on top of the table. it creaked underneath her weight. she cleared  her throat, opening her lips to sing a single a sharp. a little out of tune, she was, since she doesn’t really sing but she had an innate sense of singing. at least, she liked to believe it. she loved drama and theatrics. the clothes, the make-up and playing different people in different times and places. she was too excited she didn’t get the chance to really think over which clubs she wanted to join. so she took the time with marvin to feel what it’s like to truly be in the club.
and maybe mess with him because she liked getting him angry.
“wait a second, this is the kind of girl warner wants.”
“someone serious, someone lawyerly.”
“someone who wears back when nobody’s dead”
a half laugh slipped past katy’s lips as she sung the last word, her tone taking a sharp turn at the end. this awoke her from her delusion. smiling, she hopped off the table and took a seat on one of the vacant chairs. “see, I can do this too. this is why you can actually count on me.”

a silence filled the room that was pleasing to his ears, a stillness he craved, a quiet he adored; then his murmurs fluttered in the air, grew in volume, in distance, in power, always dancing along with the emptiness of air, as though his voice traveled in waves. it was the power of acting, a skill he’d been working on–especially for this specific piece, one of the newer plays, the ones that needed more practice, more of his time.
which was why he was there, practicing late again; another afternoon, another morning, time never mattered when he was focused, lost between the lines of the scripts; though, even that was too dramatic for him, too romanticized. he saw acting as a way to escape, to pretend–the few childish antics he still allowed himself, little treats that made him feel youthful and energetic. it gave him peace, calm, a faintness he could enjoy.
except it was short lived as a knocking cut through it. he ignored it, let the person realize a general absence so they could take their leave. but the person knocking didn’t have reason, seemed lack social cues, a decency; even their knocks grew barbaric, loud, brash, sounds marvin detested–ones he couldn’t stand. ignorance, at some point, ceased to be bliss, became torture, a pain that forced marvin to stalk to the door, to swing it open. his features had twisted into a frown that deepened when he saw her, a familiar face, a common enemy. “what do you want?” he said, voice somehow calm, collected.

If only he was a bit more feminine. But all of his features and his posture were a tad bit too male. He was slightly built and Katy could tell that he probably had muscles underneath those clothes. Strangely, she didn’t feel a strange tug in her lower region which sometimes happened when she thought of people’s bodies. Especially, Cassie’s. But once she somehow reconstructs his proportions and imagines him with his flower crown on, her smile is back on her lips. She lets him do what he wants for a few minutes even though she was itching to jump on him.
Timing must be perfect after all.
Once she was sure he was immersed in his camera, she jumped off of her chair and glared at anyone who tried to step in her way. With her winged eyeliner on point, she did seem a bit intimidating. Except she was wearing a canary yellow printed Spongebob shorts and a plain white blouse. Slowly sneaking up on Sebastian, she took each step carefully. Until bam. She was running from behind him when suddenly she jumped. Her long legs wrapped themselves around his waist, arms wrapping themselves around his neck. There were a few protests from bystanders and members alike but she kept her grip tight, not letting go. She probably would’ve choked him by now, too.
“I have a plan for us today, Sebby. And if you’re nice, I’ll ask these dweebs to stop staring at us. I think it’s because we’re cute together. But maybe they’re just bored so they stared at the next most exciting thing,” she whispered. A content smile was on her lips, nuzzling her cheek against his shoulder.
