OH MY STARS!! thank you for these tips, I'll integrate them in future art!! You're amazing thank youu!! :D

Digital art is often hard when starting out, and it seems like a lot of tutorials skip things, (or I'm not paying attention, both are very plausible) so, I decided to study an artists work; In this case, it was @sm-baby, (a user of several platforms, including Tumblr).
What I concluded is that the utilization of pressure, colored lineart in particular areas (such as when two of the same color that are in contact), and (although more so in uncolored sketches) the presence of lightly colored lines on sections of the character to show detail without making it overly prominent are factors that go into digital art that is pleasurable to look at.
So, with what I learned, the image above is a sketch that utilizes those aspects that were deemed "good", from her creations.
And hey, since you're here, go check out @sm-baby's blog. Her art is good, and there was a whole anon-deeznuts situation that went down the other day, which was very entertaining.
AND HEY- To the fellow Artists that are newer to digital artwork, or don't know where to start, or [add text here], studying the techniques of others is a good way to learn, within reason of course. So, like, don't steal or anything, thats too far.

It's Leah
Her colors and textures turned out a bit odd on the filtered version. Here's the raw, and a couple other drawings regarding her.

The drawing on the right looks pretty cool. It's a cool filter.

During the development of her color pallete, I ended up using a hefty bit of ink.

she's a klutz.
