It is crazy that it is really over I have truly enjoy this class I have learn so much. For example how persuasion must have an audience. The art of persuading and influencing others always requires an audience, whether it's a single person, a small group of ten, or a much larger assembly of listeners. This component is constant, so it is critical to know how to adapt quickly to your audience's needs, wants, fears, and desires. Knowing how to research and read your audience will help you determine which tools or techniques will be the most effective in any given situation. Using the wrong techniques and tools, on the other hand, will automatically create barriers between you and your audience, which in turn will diminish your potential to persuade them. When you effectively integrate the principles and Rules of Persuasion with the characteristics of influence, power, and motivation, your audience will always be friendly, and desirable results will be the outcome. Have you ever tried the same approach with a customer that your boss uses on you and had it bomb miserably? Becoming an effective persuader requires more than mimicking other persuaders. You must not only fully understand the wide variety of persuasive techniques available, but you must also be ready to use the techniques best suited for any given situation. Acquiring this level of skill demands a commitment to watch, analyze, study, and apply the concepts of Maximum Influence.

Ethical Insight
Tumblr media
The Lane Bryant #IMNOANGEL activity commends ladies of all shapes and sizes by reclassifying society's customary idea of provocative with a capable center message: ALL ladies are sexy," the brand says.
It's an immediate burrow at Victoria's Secret, and online networking is cherishing it. Ladies have bounced on the drifting hashtag, posting their own particular photographs and statements with #ImNoAngel.
What is sexier: flawlessness or reality? Path Bryant uncovered another undergarments advertisement battle in New York City on April 7 for their Cacique image that offered a solid counterpoint to Victoria's Secret inescapable Angels brand. What's more, included an altogether different sort of model.
The #ImNoAngel battle takes the attractive ethos of a Victoria's Secret promotion and weds it with the sort of female bodies we're not used to seeing put on announcements: thrilling ones. They figure out how to do everything without utilizing the expression "hefty size" to portray the line or the models, and by augmentation the client.
"There are numerous ladies who are glad to say they're in addition, and ladies who aren't happy with saying that. It's about making all ladies feel excellent and provocative; they would prefer not to be obliged.
The whole #ImNoAngel crusade is about "changing the discussion," however the genuine finished objective is changing ladies who look one way can wear scanty clothing and ladies with an alternate body sort ought not. The greatest diversion change to Lane Bryant's battle is taking the accentuation off of the male look/male endorsement and moving it to a discussion about what makes a lady feel hot. A standout amongst the most imperative devices, to those finishes, is self-acknowledgment.

Why people use social media broken down by platform😌
We can all relate to Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest . Facebook. I feel as if Facebook is the largest social platform. We use it to see what our network is doing in their day-to-day activities. So what is the purpose of Facebook? Facebook is where we share photos of our children, our accomplishments, our marriage, our engagement, etc. For better or worse, people who are on Facebook are there to see what their friends, or even people who they vaguely know are doing at all times. Going on Facebook is often a mindless activity where we are just scrolling through our newsfeed before even realizing we are doing so. While many use Twitter to connect with their immediate social network, it's typically a place where we go for niche content that interests us. For example, I follow news publications, fellow marketers- from all over the world most of whom I've never met, and other relevant marketing users. Lastly, Pinterest is where we go to be inspired and get ideas, be it for style, for cooking, for design or for words of wisdom for day-to-day life. Some of the most popular pins are those of style, of home decorating ideas, of quotes and so on. The takeaway here is that social media does not lend itself to traditional ways of marketing, of shouting messages at your consumers. Sure you can do that on social media, there are no rules against it, but it certainly isn't going to help your small business at all. You need to look at WHY and HOW your audience is using each social platform.

Slogans & Mottos 😌💁🏼
The advertising slogan subverts the well-known phrase “Nothing is impossible” – a motivational cliché – and substitutes the word order of “nothing” and “impossible” to create a grammatically puzzling phrase. When adidas’ advertising slogan superficially it obviously implies that the impossible is to be considered nothing, just like saying that accomplishing the impossible is not a big deal, or even considered to be easy, when wearing shoes and clothes of the German sportswear manufacturer. The slogan is clearly not intended to communicate the same message as, “Nothing is impossible”, which can be reversed to “everything is possible”. Instead, when using the phrase, “it’s nothing” we mean that something is very easy for us to accomplish, so to say that reaching the impossible is not just possible, but also extremely easy. Adidas’ advertising slogan was a clever chosen phrase that basically says, “Of course I can do the impossible. That’s nothing for me!” The slogan does not only encourage athletes participating in championships like the Olympics to break records that were considered to be impossible to break, but also communicates adidas’ belief that professionals and hobby sportsmen can go beyond the impossible.

States of mind, Belief's and Behaviors

States of mind, Belief's and Behaviors
The previous picture and poem is a reasonable case of publicity which is a type of influence used to impact individuals' states of mind, convictions, and practices. A working definition of propaganda is the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person. I feel as if emotion and persuasion are in a difficult way is apply to advertising. Affect appears to have four possible effects on "learning" from advertising and a direct effect on advertising effectiveness in low depth-of-processing situations. Yet, modern propaganda uses all the media available to spread its message, including: press, radio, television, film, computers, fax machines, posters, meetings, door-to-door canvassing, handbills, buttons, billboards, speeches, flags, street names, monuments, coins, stamps, books, plays, comic strips, poetry, music, sporting events, cultural events, company reports, libraries, and awards and prizes. It is most likely that some of these media uses are surprising, but that only serves to show how easy it is to not even recognize propaganda as such. For the purpose of our paper we will focus on mainly the usage of the press in their tactics of shaping people's opinions. The press (newspapers and magazines) is important because the most current news and issues are spread every day through them.

“Persuasion is everywhere”
Tumblr media
I once tried to count the number of direct attempts to control my thoughts and behavior that I encountered in a single day. This included people requesting me to do things, forcing me to do things, asking me to buy things, telling me to pay for things, showing me where to stop and when to go, suggesting how I should think about things, offering me slogans to repeat, songs to remember, attitudes to change, and ideologies to believe. I avoided the morning newspaper and radio program, because I knew I couldn't count that fast. By the time I reached my destination at mid-morning, I lost count somewhere around 500.
We live in an environment dense with influence attempts. A large portion of the population makes a living simply getting others to comply with their requests. Conservative estimates suggest that a person will receive up to 400 persuasive appeals from marketers alone in the course of a single day. Whether a manager encouraging productivity, a policeman directing traffic, a salesperson closing a sale, or a president telling us we need to spend more money on social programs each of us is subjected to an uncountable number of influence attempts each day.
Don't believe me yet? OK, let's focus on just the mass media, a major contender for your attention, time, and most profitably, your inevitable compliance. Each year, the average American spends 1550 hours of TV, listens to 1160 hours of radio, and spends 290 hours reading newspapers and magazines. If you watch the normal amount of TV, each day you'll have seen 100 TV ads.
If your job were to simply do the average amount of watching, listening, and reading of the mass media, you'd be at it 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! (No, that's not a misprint you couldn't get it done in a year at this pace. You'd have to work overtime.)

Standing With Orlando
Tumblr media
I support the LGBTQ+ community, paying tribute to the victims, and practicing self-care in the wake of tragedy. Most of us know of the horrible attack that has happen in Orlando Florida. The shooting at a gay nightclub which killed at least 49 people and injured dozens of others, has left us shocked, Angry; Saddened and Devastated.
This is so hard for you and for the people you love to put behind us as a community and it may cause extreme hurt for a long time. We get that! One of the best things we as Americans can do right now is to stick together. We can also help the friends and family who need our support in the wake of this tragedy.
There are many ways we can help those in need in Orlando. One way is by donating blood for those in need. If you just go online to the American Red Cross website and this will assist you in locating the closest location nearest to you. Also, there is a corporation known as call do something.com. Through the efforts of many, they have created a way for you to go on twitter and tweet how you feel in the wake of these tragedy. They will put it on their page letting people know we have there back in this time of need all you have to do is tweet then put @dosomething. There are so many ways we can use our persuasion in this time of need.

Guns, tanks, and bombs were the principal weapons of World War II, but there were other, more subtle forms of warfare as well. Words, posters, and films waged a constant battle for the hearts and minds of the American citizenry just as surely as military weapons engaged the enemy. Persuading the American public became a wartime industry, almost as important as the manufacturing of bullets and planes. The Government launched an aggressive propaganda campaign with clearly articulated goals and strategies to galvanize public support, and it recruited some of the nation's foremost intellectuals, artists, and filmmakers to wage the war on that front. Posters are the focus of this online exhibit, based on a more extensive exhibit that was presented in the National Archives Building in Washington, DC, from May 1994 to February 1995. It explores the strategies of persuasion as evidenced in the form and content of World War II posters. Quotes from official manuals and public leaders articulate how the Government sought to rally public opinion in support of the war's aims; quotes from popular songs and sayings attest to the success of the campaign that helped to sustain the war effort throughout the world-shaking events of World War II.
