i'm kind of astounded by both the amount of people who... seem unable to do self-curation for their own mental health or even preferences
and then also at the people who are offended when people do self-curation regarding thing they engage in (why are you even upset you likely wouldn't like the people who blocked you/whatever anyway??)

I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them
People who are used to aloof Vulcans who avoid Humans at all cost running into one comforting a Human

A discord having a form where people can state what is and isn't okay with them is actually way better than just... either entirely banning certain subjects, relegating them to blacklist channels, assuming everyone will memorize a set list of triggers, ect.
