Hello Everyone!

Today is the first day of the weeklong strike for a ceasefire in Gaza.

I have realized that I do not think the message has spread far, at least on this website. This might be due to the lack of internet in Gaza, it has been down for days. Not much can be said by the citizens there, it's like some people forgot about them. I encourage all of you to share this post, or make your own, letting everyone know about this strike. This is something that should transcend the aesthetic of your blog. My blog was a gimmick blog, but for this week, it is a blog for spreading information and awareness.

Bisan Odwa (@wizard_bisan1 on instagram) has called for this strike. She is a journalist from Gaza, who has been experiencing this horrid violence for 15 weeks. 107 days. 2568 hours.

TW: Sonic IDW spoilers (I guess…I mean I didn’t know this story existed so…)

Also this is a long rant about the art of the story alright?So prepare your sonic shoes

Yesterday,I decided to go read some Sonic IDW special issues and then I found “Sonic’s 900th adventure”.

Throughout the story,every time Sonic was going to meet his friends in different locations,the artstyle would change.In my opinion,this was a great way to celebrate Sonic’s 900th adventure,as it gives nearly all Sonic IDW artists and colorist a chance to shine *cough* *cough* besides my favorite artists *cough* *cough*.

The art started pretty strong at the pages,where sonic meets Amy,Knuckles,Blaze and Cream,and Eggman.My favorite pages are definitely the ones where Sonic meets Amy,Knuckles,Blaze and Cream.It was so unexpected for me to look at these drawings:The shades,the colors,the expressions…They were all so pretty💕💕These pages were so beautifully made.I love them all

And then we go to this:

No hate to the artist.I really don’t want you all to harass them,alright?

My problem with the Babylon Rogues pages is that the characters kinda look…Off.Some panels the characters look good and the backgrounds are kinda mediocre when compared to the first locations sonic met his friends and Eggman,BUT

Shadow…OhhhhhHhHh,Shadow.I think every Sonic artist should be afraid of drawing you (I also can guarantee that I’m also not really good at drawing shadow)I can imagine that all of the artist before the Babylon rogues interactions were all like:”There is NOO way,I’m going to draw Shadow and the birds!!!!I’ll just give this assignment to someone else >:D”and then it just kept repeating

But seriously tho,Shadow seems kinda…

Out of character.At first I thought it was the writing or that this IS how Shadow acts and I just forgot what his character was like,but the more I thought,the more I believed that the problem was how his expressions looked.They really didn’t seem to fit in with what he was saying
