i love manmaru nikki/daily round diary so much it actually makes me insane. it's the best one please do more chapters of it. I have no specific requests sadly bc I don't know enough about it to do so. btw ily thank you for all the work you do I have spent so long reading these and showing them to my friends and being overall 100 percent normal about them in the rather short time I've known about this blog. again ily mwah.
Glad you're enjoying them! I'm currently trying to alternate between Moretsu Pupupu, Pupupu Hero, and Manmaru Nikki, so Manmaru Nikki is next up. Definitely lots more to look forward to

Whats your favorite kirby manga?
Currently Manmaru Nikki is my favorite. I feel it uses the most Kirby characters and typically has lots of funny stuff for me to translate. I do think Moretsu Pupupu Hour has the best art though.

Yet another spin-off adaptation, this time of Kirby Fighters 2! This chapter reimagines the story with Shadow Kirby as the one behind it all. But how will his plans turn out? We'll have to wait for the next chapter to see... (yes I'm doing two cliffhangers in a row! mwa ha ha) I quite like my translation for this one; I feel like I was able to get some funny lines in. Elline, the helper character from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, arrives in Dream Land fleeing a strange entity! The first thing she does, of course, is accidentally cause a cornucopia of chaos! But what about that strange thing chasing her? We'll have to wait for the next chapter to see... I quite like the way Elline is drawn in this one. Asami Taniguchi's cutesy style really fits her. Hey everyone! Still alive! But I've been having a lot of trouble getting a steady internet connection. I actually have three chapters totally done but just haven't been able to upload them.
But I have an internet connection at the moment and am going to try to get some uploads in! How many? Not sure. Not even sure if any of them will actually work. But you may or may not be able to expect some actual posts on this blog soon! Hooray?

How did u translate many of the Kirby mangas?
I've been studying Japanese for about four years now (or maybe five?). I'm far from fluent, but I know enough to translate simple manga like this. Is that what you mean?

Can you translate some Gooey chapters? Also just random Bailey drawing that I drew
I really wish I could, but Gooey rarely appears in any manga chapters and when he does he's usually not a big part of it. As a certified Gooey lover myself, I'm always on the lookout for Gooey appearances, so if any more come up I'll be sure to get to them quickly.

have you heard about the yurutto pupupu manga (i think that’s the name??) i’m really interested in it so if you have anything on it, i’d love to see it translated! no rush tho 🙏 thx for the hard workkkk
i had not heard of this before now! lord there are so many kirby manga...
anyways im sorry to say but im probably not going to be able to translate this any time soon as I need good internet to scan it and I don't really get that on the boat. I'll definitely get to it as soon as I can, though.

I am so sorry I haven't gotten through the second manga, but I do want to get to it, and also I want to use a different method. I have to find the right lighting, which is usually summer. I hope the distortion hasn't been too bad! I want to decrease it!
you're talking about the kirby 64 4-panel comics, yeah? no need to hurry! I am not in danger of running out of manga to translate any time soon. I actually haven't even finished the first book, just stopped doing those translations as it seemed people weren't as into them.

Unfortunately, the process I use to acquire scans of the books doesn't work for the pupupu hero book where dark meta knight appears. If someone else has scans of them, please let me know as I'd love to do it!

Kirby Manga Double Bill + A Fanfiction?!
Solid Snake voice: Kept you waiting, huh?
Finishing off the requests in my queue (at least for the time being), I present to you two chapters! One from Manmaru Nikki and one from Mopupu. And yes, you read that title correctly, there's a special surprise after them as well! Well not a surprise I guess since it's in the title but very special! Anyways, let's just get to the manga, eh?

Now what was that about a fanfiction?
It's true, dear readers: I have dabbled in fanficcery! It's kind of like translating a manga chapter except instead of translating Japanese into readable English I have to translate my internal thought process into readable English.
It's a nice and simple story about Kirby wanting to eat a cake but not being allowed to eat said cake and all the emotion and heartbreak that occurs as a result, featuring King Dedede, Daroach, Adeleine, and Magolor. It's the very first fanfic I've ever written, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It might not Wham Bam Rock your socks off but it could, uh... Fatty Whale your... scales off? Whew! Looks like you've got some reading to catch up on. It hopefully won't take me this long to update again since I'm not planning on writing another fanfic anytime soon (but maybe someday...). Hope you enjoy the chapters and please let me know what you think of my fanfic!
