Good morning. Wake up to happiness. We are blessed with many 'entitlements' without our knowledge. Stay with gratitude in all our actions, instead of having things as an entitlement. Happy Sunday. Stay safe. God bless us.

CONVERSATIONS WITH ANNAMALAI SWAMI
Q: The seeker has many ideas: ‘I am a jiva (personality), I am bound and have to do sadhana to attain liberation’. Should we forget all these ideas? …
AS: Yes, forget them all! ‘I am the Self, I am all’. Hold onto this awareness. All other paths are roundabouts.
Q: Bhagavan said that repeating, ‘I am the Self’ or ‘I am not this body’ is an aid to inquiry but does not constitute the inquiry itself.
AS: The meditation, ‘I am not the body or the mind, I am the immanent Self’ is a great aid for as long as one is not able to do self-inquiry properly or constantly.
Bhagavan said, ‘Keeping the mind in the Heart is self-inquiry’. If you cannot do this by asking ‘Who am I?’ or by taking the I-thought back to its source, then meditation on the awareness ‘I am the all-pervasive Self’ is a great aid.
Bhagavan often said that we should read and study the Ribhu Gita regularly.
In the Ribhu Gita it is said: ‘That bhavana (mental attitude) ‘I am not the body, I am not the mind, I am Brahman, I am everything,’ is to be repeated again and again until this becomes the natural state.’
Bhagavan sat with us every day while we chanted extracts from the Ribhu Gita which affirm the reality of the Self. It is true that he said that these repetitions are only an aid to self-inquiry, but they are a very powerful aid.
By practicing this way, the mind becomes more and more attuned to the Reality. When the mind has become purified by this practice, it is easier to take it back to its source and keep it there. When one is able to abide in the Self directly, one doesn’t need aids like this. But if this is not possible these practices can definitely help one.

Good morning. Wake up to happiness. Choices are optional for us to go forth our daily lives. To change is one of those options. If we choose wisely & change, we don't have to wait until change is the only option. Happy Friday. Stay safe. God bless us.

To my Divine Mother I prayed only for pure love. I offered flowers at Her Lotus Feet and prayed to Her: “Mother, here is Thy virtue, here it Thy vice. Take them both and grant me only pure love for Thee. Here is Thy knowledge, here is Thy ignorance, take them both and grant me only pure love for Thee. Here is Thy purity, here is Thy impurity. Take them both, Mother, and grant me only pure love for Thee. Here is Thy dharma, here is Thy adharma. Take them both, Mother, and grant me only pure love for Thee.” (pp.138-139)

The realized man lives on the level of the absolutes; his wisdom, love and courage are complete, there is nothing relative about him. Therefore he must prove himself by tests more stringent, undergo trials more demanding.

Good morning. Wake up to happiness. Peel an onion & we shed tears. Peel the cloaks of perception & years of conditioned social responses that cloud our mind & shine bright and true. Happy Thursday. Stay safe. God bless us.

Within each of us resides a pain-body; a dark shadow of the ego. The slightest event can cause it to emerge. When it does, an inner voice begins to spin sad, anxious, or angry stories about ourselves or others. It blames, complains and distorts perception. By pausing to acknowledge this unconscious identification, we take the first step toward becoming an adult, a step into our nature free of all conditioned and existential angst.
Eckhart Tolle

Good morning. Wake up to happiness. Restart, reset, refocus. Do this as many times as needed. Also, be okay with the fact that we are not everyone's cup of tea. There's always a fresh opportunity for us, & someone who appreciates us. Happy Wednesday. Stay safe. God bless us.

☀ SHRI KRISHNA GOVINDA ☀
“In this Age of Kali, the holy name of the Lord, the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, is the incarnation of Lord Krishna. Simply by chanting the holy name, one associates with the Lord directly. The whole universe will be delivered simply by the chanting of the holy names.”~Sri Chaitanya-caritamrita Adi-lila 17.22

DO NOT HURRY
Q: How can my mind be still if I have to use it more than other people? I want to go into solitude and renounce my work as a headmaster.
M: No. You can stay where you are and go on with work. What is the undercurrent which gives life to the mind and enables it to do all this work? Why, the Self! So, that is the real source of your activity. Simply become aware of it during your work and do not forget it.
Contemplate it in the background of your mind even while you are working.
To do that, do NOT hurry!
Take your time, keep the remembrance of your real nature alive, even while working, and avoid haste which causes you to forget. Be deliberate.
Practice meditation to still the mind and cause it to become aware of its true relationship to the Self, which supports it. Do not imagine it is you who are doing the work. Think that it is the underlying current which is doing it. Identify yourself with this current. If you work unhurriedly, recolIectedly, your work or service need not be a hindrance."
The Maharshi compared the spokes o f a wheel, which are all contained within the same circle, whether they are thick or thin, to the intellectual: work contained within the circle of the Self.

Good morning. Wake up to happiness. We like to believe in luck, good or bad and leave it at that. What we don't know is that it's a blessing or a lesson. Be grateful, count our blessings & learn the lessons. Happy Tuesday. Stay safe. God bless us.

AWARENESS OF AWARENESS ITSELF
Looking inward is liberation.
Looking inward is eternal life.
Looking inward is eternal awareness.
Looking inward is eternal peace.
Looking inward is eternal joy.
Looking inward is eternal Love
that is absolutely perfect and free of all forms
of sorrow and misery.
That joy, that perfection is your awareness.
Because you always looked outward, you never experienced it.
To change this long habit of looking outward you need to practice every day. Spend as many hours every day practicing as you can.
If you only practice awareness watching awareness for 30 minutes per day and spend the other 23 and a half hours looking outward, you will not progress very quickly.
If you want rapid results, drop all your unnecessary activities to create the maximum amount of time you can spare to practice for many hours per day, every day.
- Michael Langford
551. Only those foolish folk,
who have not searched and found the Truth supreme, the Heart,
flounder in fear, in the treacherous illusion.
Those who have known the supreme bliss,
The boundless flood of heavenly brightness,
fear no more.
763. Only a one-pointed mind, turned inward, succeeds in Self-inquiry.
Weak, faltering minds, like green banana trees,
Are not fit fuel to feed this fire.
- Bhagavan in 'Guru Vachaka Kovai
