All Het. Sasuke ships seem to be based on the women first liking Sasuke for his looks (canonically proven). But the reason I like SasuHina so much is because it is the only het. Sasuke ship where Hinata would appreciate Sasuke for something beyond his Looks and Demeanour ( in my mind). Looks or Social status hardly matter to Hinata.

I believe if Hinata and Sasuke are thrown into a situation together, she will initially probably be scared of him (classic Hinata), but will start seeing that beyond the cold, hard exterior , lies a caring person. She will see that sasuke can put his life in danger for saving people who are close to him and genuinely cares about them. She will see that Sasuke hides behind his bluntness and rudeness, so that people don’t get too close to him. This is because he doesn’t want to get close to anyone and lose them.

His tragic past will make her deeply empathize with him and she would in her own gentle way let him know that she cares. She won’t be over exuberant and suffocate him with it. She wont expect Sasuke to start treating her differently and she sure as hell won’t keep looking at him with puppy dog eyes expecting him to treat her differently.

She will start seeing Sasuke for the person he is and that is what will Attract her to him. Looks will play a minor role, his notorious reputation won’t matter to her, his Rude remarks will be met with kindness rather than Sadness or Insecurity that all other girls feel when in Sasuke’s Company.

His persistence and hardworking nature would inspire her and rather than pestering him to go on dates she will actually give him his space to work on his goals. Their company wil bel one of tranquility , Sasuke would enjoy the quietness Hinata shows and how respectful she is of his Boundaries. But this will inspire them inturn to reach out to each other because they understand there is no games, no malice , no selfishness - just pure companionship and solace when they are each other’s company.

Their parallels will help them understand each other better, the sadness of losing a brother, the fact that Hinata is a pacifist like Itachi and treats people around her with compassion and Sasuke is protective like Neji who is severely hurt by the Injustice that the world did them. These are just some of things that Help me love SasuHina as my favorite Sasuke ship.

In a way it's a romantic tragedy. Inuyasha wanted to be with kikyo, heck he was really ready to turn himself human to marry and be with kikyo, he was ready to marry her till death do they part, and turn human for equal lifespan as well. Also you forgot the Notebook where they died after having lived a full life together in each other's arms. That was probably the ideal way Inuyasha wanted to be with kikyo but they were both stripped of their chances in that life so he had to settle for kikyos reincarnation aka her next life (yes kagome is a crappy reincarnation but is kikyos next life regardless of whether I like her or not and is the only reason inukik is canon even in a roundabout way, I honestly wish she was written better haven't disliked a character as much as her besides Sakura Haruno, I even like Sakura a smidge more and I don't even like her, I even like naraku more than kagome and he's the one that killed kikyo, his writing as a villain/character was really good, and I give credit where credit is due. Oh yeah but the notebook also kinda reminds me of inukik.

As Kikyo and Inukik fans, what are your personal feelings about Inuyasha and Kikyo's desire to die together?

A lot of antis tend to cling to the fact that Kikyo was trying to kill Inuyasha when pulling him into hell with her, but ignore the fact that Inuyasha wanted the same thing. (This was confirmed by his conversation with Kaede and the flower demon exposing his inner most thoughts in Second Act)

Obviously, dying is not considered a positive ending for anyone, but in a romantic context, isn't this a common trope in romantic tragedies? Take Romeo and Juliet or Jin-Soo and Sun-Hwa from Lost, for example. Both couples died together because they couldn't bear the thought of being without eachother.

How would you have felt about this kind of ending for Inuyasha? Would you have found it tragic or romantic?

Back when Kagome could somehow peice together how deep Inuyasha's feelings went for Kikyo without having an emotional melt down.

Agree to Sakura kinda sucks even if I ship her with like two characters I still believe her canon character is pretty bad. (To anyone curious it's narusaku and leesaku)

I’m pretty sure you and no one else took a crack at that post because no one could disprove it. Sakura’s the most selfless female character out of all the female cast and one of the people that has stood by Naruto’s side and supported him the most.

Trying to sacrifice yourself for an elderly woman you barely know IS selfless. Sakura’s care towards Naruto is shown throughout the entire series. Chapter 297 is a prime example of how Sakura worries over Naruto, she tears up due to relief at Naruto waking up, and even Yamato who barely knows Sakura takes notice of how much she cares for him. When she discovers a jinchuriki can die from having its tailed beast extracted she cries because of what this means for Naruto and is one of the first people to start supporting his dream of being Hokage. She throws herself in front of Gaara to save Sasuke and just worries about him in general throughout the series. You dismiss the care she shows towards Naruto and Sasuke whilst completely misinterpreting her bond with Ino despite the fact that she cares about them and they care about her. No amount of ignoring canon is gonna change that.

‘She doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but herself.’ whilst Sakura’s in tears because of how worried she is about Naruto, babe I’m BEGGING you to read the manga, you just hating on a character you know next to nothing about lmfao. 😂

Who tf you think you talking to????? I OWN the manga and the ONLY translated data book.

“She’s selfless for an old lady” so? Even Orochimaru isn’t above showing kindness once in a while like when he helped Kabuto. BUT this doesn’t mean that this wasn’t in her best interest to save her anyway just like with Orochimaru.

Small but big details

It is known that there are many modified scenes in anime that deducted merit or changed the essence and personality of Kikyo. There are some that may go unnoticed, like this one.

The scene corresponds to the moment Miroku was about to die from forcing his Kazaana to Naraku's venom. In the manga, as expected, Kikyo offers to help him, but mentions that it will take 3 days to purify him. While the anime this time lapse is not mentioned and it is understood that it was a couple of hours.

Clearly this was the beginning of the end for our beautiful Kikyo, sacrificing her body to help Miroku. She was wounded and contaminated by Naraku's wound on Mount Hakurei, so purifying more poison was harmful and even more so for such a number of days.

inukik shippers never got respect from the fandom for their interpretations and then you have inukag fans who have headcanons that kagome and kikyo arent even reincarnations when if kagome wasnt she wouldnt have been able to free inuyasha. kagome being kikyo’s reincarnation is a CANON fact and someone “headcanons” that it isnt, but inukik interpretations are all incorrect? without kikyo kagome wouldnt have been able to travel in time.

Exactly! You don't even know how many times I've been humiliated, ridiculed in the past just because I'm Kikyou / InuKik. Until now, we are offended by insults. We are treated very badly, but now we started talking. We were silent before.Even when we're a small group of fans. I am so proud of us.

Their hatred for her does not surprise me. Their hatred has always been insane and that won't change because even when Kikyou died what made them happy, when the epilogue was animated their hatred came back and they will hate her forever.

If Kagome had not been Kikyo's reincarnation, they would never have entered the world of Sengoku, she would not have met Inuyasha. She would not have the power of a priestess to cleanse a jawel and sense it. She barely uses the power her useful role ended with the last chapter (I don't count the epilogue) because in the epilogue sheshow how in time without a jewel is useless.

Everything Inukags does is ALL * okay * and reading their crap I sometimes wondered if there was an alternate version of the manga. I am told that fans like Inukags are the most delusional.

Our claims, I knew, are often based on manga. We don't deny such obvious things as "Kagome is not the reincarnation of Kikyou" it's like denying the entire manga and all of Rumiko's work.

Only what InuKiks say is that Kagome should not be a reincarnation of Kikyou, that it should just give Kikyou in modern times. But we don't deny that she is not her reincarnation, we just criticize her.

I think they want Kikyou out of history so that Kagome is Inuyasha's only love. Kikyou is an obstacle for them. Their headcanons will never be canonical. It's just their dreams that won't come true.

They have a canon, but still have to degrade Kikyou / InuKik / InuKik fans. You can see who has butthurt.

I am ready for more evidence of detachment from reality from inukag / kagome fans.

Seriously? That amused me a little, anon. Yes, his mother was the first person to give him kindness. What I will say is sad, but mothers don't always love their own children, and Izayoi loved her son very much. Kikyou was the second woman after his mother to show him kindness.

I don't understand this anon. Their ship is canon right? that's what they wanted and they got it. Kikyou died they wanted it too and they got it. They literally cannot leave Kikyou and InuKik alone and are doing their best to humiliate her and this ship. What's the point here?

The series ended many years ago. They can't move on, and that's sad. They cannot accept that Inuyasha loves Kikyou more than Kagome. Inuyasha loves Kikyou while being married to Kagome.

It really must piss them off that Kikyou's death didn't change Inuyasha's feelings. Kagome failed to fill the void in Inuyasha's heart after Kikyou. Kagome will forever be jealous of the woman who came first,her own past self.

Their mental gymnastics is fun and annoying. Imagine having to think about a fictional character and a ship all the time to find a reason to show that she is an "evil bitch" and that Inuyasha never loved Kikyou,conversely, Kikyou didn't love Inuyasha,at the same time contradict the canon. This must be time consuming😂

This is ridiculous, and it also shows how pissing them off Kagome was unable to take Inuyasha's whole heart,is sad that they have to do everything they can to show that Kagome's "love" for Inuyasha is the only and proper one, even though they got the canon.
