7.29pm: Jagiii, you said you’d be out in 5 minutes , it has been 15 minutes.

7.30pm : i’m excited for you to finally be meeting my parents but idk i feel nervous about it too. 

Just as he sent that message , you strode out the door wearing a comfortable pair of jeans and a flannel , not too casual and not too formal. He stood back leaning onto his car , grinning to himself. “ What are you grinning at , weren’t you busy fretting over your parents not liking me a minute ago?” you teased. “ Yah y/n now that i think about it, we should just stay home and watch a movie or something.” Hearing this ,you frowned and said “ Im Changkyun , we’re doing this no matter what you say so hold my hand and we’ll do this together,” He smiled his award winning smile but you knew beneath that was a head full of worries and a heavy heart. You grasped his hand and gave it a light squeeze, making your way down the street . 

     His parent’s house was a few blocks down so that gave you a little time to try and make your boyfriend’s concerns drain away . He claimed to not be worried but the sweat coming from his palms told you otherwise . Changkyun didn’t make his usual comments about the cute kids playing around or the adorable dogs hanging around and no matter how many times you tried to strike up conversations , he would shut you down seeming to be pre-occupied with something on his mind. You knew this wasn’t going to work out so you suddenly stood in front of him and said “ Yah , spit it out what are you so worried about ?” “Its just that i really want them to like you because i love you and i don’t think i can go without marrying you and i would of course like my parents blessing . “ As he said this, he started breaking down. You hadn’t realized how much this affected him , you felt stupid for not thinking about it more seriously. “Jagi,, don’t be too pressured , i let my stupid emotions get in the way. “ He chuckled and sniffled a bit. “ ani , im sorry, i want to meet your parents and want them to like me too because i love you too and i should’ve taken this into more consideration . C’mon show me that smile again, we’ll get through this i promise,” you said in hopes of consoling him. He clasped your hand and brought it to his lips . You pulled him into a hug and buried your head in his chest , feeling the soft material of his shirt on your cheek. Thank god you were in a dark corner of the street . 

     Soon, you reached his parents’ doorstep. Your heart threatened to burst out of its captives , you glanced at each other and he gave you a buoyant grin . With that, he rapped on the door of his parents.
