The display is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1140p. This is one of the most accurate color displays with a Delta-E score of 0.26. OnePlus claims that this is the best display they have ever given.
The shape of the device is boxy, making it one of the best-looking displays released in 2020, plus there is a little ridge that is cut along the top edge of the OnePlus 8 Pro with a punch-out camera that hosts a 16MP front-facing camera.
At the back of the phone, you will notice the OnePlus logo with a huge camera bump that might get in your way anytime you pick the phone up. To solve this minor problem, use a phone in case it will make the back surface smoother.
The fact that they have matched with all the flagship features that are expected to be in phones such as the smooth 120Hz refresh rate plus the 240Hz touch rate, is outstanding. You are going to enjoy scrolling through your phone since the touch of responsiveness is 2 times faster.
One of the best things that I love about this phone is that it allows you to operate it on both high resolution and high refresh rate, although it is at the expense of the battery. When you are using applications that don’t require a high refresh such as Google maps and Snapchat, the phone refreshes steps down from 120Hz to 60 Hz.
The overall design looks edginess with the curviness of the OnePlus 8 pro. bad thing when you hold the device you might accidentally touch the curved screen, rendering the rest of the display unresponsive.
I think it best to tone the curved screen down, and Samsung popularly known for curved display has toned down the curve on the screen display, perfecting the display with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. OnePlus should follow the same path.
The oxygen operating system makes this one of my favorite clean phones. The back also has a glossy finish, making it resistant to fingerprints.

If you don’t want to buy the wireless charging at an extra cost, you could charge the one plus 8 Pro using other wireless charging system but it will only charge at 5watts which is slow, considering the fact the wireless charger that is designed for this phone charges at 30 watts.
Camera Capabilities of OnePlus 8 Pro
The OnePlus 8 Pro is a high-end quality flagship camera, right in line with the Huawei P40 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S20 and falling short of the iPhone 11 Pro and the Pixel.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has quad cameras at the back of the phone. It has a new 48 MP main camera with a 48 MP ultra-wide camera with a focal of 2.2 which also doubles as a macro lens, an 8 MP telephoto camera with F/2.44, and a 5 MP color filter camera.
The camera takes amazing photos. You will enjoy capturing the moments that matter to you most with this phone, especially when you use light.
The night mode is good, taking clear subject photos at night that appear amazing. The max zoom is 30 X form the telephoto camera which is not very useful because the photos aren’t clear. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is still going to be the chap for zooming in photos up to 50X.
You have a variety of options resolution when taking video. From 1080p@30/60/240fps and 4k@30/60fps. You can also take Auto HDR and Gyro-EIS can give you that cinematic setting with great stabilization.

You also get a slow-motion setting off up to 480 fps, then you will have to knock it down to 720 p to take advantage of the slow-motion video.
The iPhone 11 Pro remains the greatest with producing videos.
The Selfie camera is still struggling with proper exposure, but it is still producing amazing selfie photos.
If the tiny punch of the front camera disturbs, you can always hide it by putting a forehead on your phone. That it is out of the corner takes it out of your way so it doesn’t bug you.

The OnePlus 8 Pro has a camera hole punch in the screen’s front which is a downgrade from the previous OnePlus 7 Pro which has a pop-up camera and nothing on the display. Probably the reason they removed the sliding pop up camera is to save on the cost of manufacturing, or they just wanted to appear like all the other flagships cameras produced in 2020.

I think they have finally mastered the right balance of curviness. When using the Galaxy S20, there will not be any accidental touches on the side screen, allowing you to enjoy the best experience with the Samsung Galaxy S20.
You will love the superfluid 120 Hz refresh rate @ 1080 resolution on the 6.2 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
The Galaxy S20 has the sharpest screen since it’s smaller, unlike its siblings the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the Galaxy S20 Plus. You will have no problem using the display out in the sun since it automatically adjusts the screen brightness to adapt to that of the environment.
Performance
The ceiling of performance for all the high-end flagship smartphones has been consistent in 2020. As expected, this phone performs every bit of great as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The user interphase is Samsung One UI 2.1 over Android 10 the interphase is quite polished and fluid, especially if you have the 120 Hz refresh rate on.

One thing that you notice with any smartphone that is offering a high refresh rate, is a bigger battery. The Samsung Galaxy S20 is no different, it offers a 4000mAh battery capacity which can last you up to 71 hours the entire day with no problem of the battery running low.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 offers 25 watts fast charging and 15 watts wireless charging.
You will be comfortable with battery life because it offers a high refresh rate. Even if you are using a max refresh rate, a max screen brightness the battery will last up to 70 hours before your phone goes dead.
If you want to extend your battery life, all you have to do is lower the refresh rate to 60 Hz @1440 p and the screen brightness levels. But then again, what’s the fun of using a flagship smartphone if you don’t get to use it at a maximum refresh rate?
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a bigger battery capacity and the same refresh rate as the Galaxy S20. However, if you are about to have a super long day and you know you won’t get access to a charger, switching the refresh rate down will ensure that your phone lasts the entire day.
Camera & Video Capabilities of Samsung Galaxy S20
The new camera system is also one of the enormous improvements in the Samsung Galaxy S20 with a triple camera.
In daylight qualities from the 12MP main camera with OIS, the photos are sharp and clear. Samsung has toned down and dialed back on the crazy color saturation, giving you a more neutral photo.

There are certain camera techniques that the Galaxy S20 Ultra has that it lacks in the Galaxy S20 like zoom capabilities, even though it may not be enjoyable or applicable to everyone.
The 4k video looks so good, you would enjoy the videos you take with the Galaxy S20. The content will be sharp and color accurate.
It is also amazing to know that Samsung is providing you with 8k video footage, even though they compromised on the 8k video, 24ps. This is because it has some rolling shutter and it lacks rolling autofocus, meaning that shooting moving objects will be a challenge.
The key thing is that the 8k video shortage doesn’t come from the main camera, instead, it comes from the 64 MP telephoto camera meaning that it crops in a lot of the video shortage.

The Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra still beat it in some specs, but we recommend that you get this phone. Samsung provides a high refresh rate on a curved AMOLED display, outstanding camera, stereo speakers, fast charge, big battery capacity, and waterproofing certification.

The big number that I am excited about is the camera. By default, the main 108 MP does beaming that kicks out a 12 MP camera, and it is the sharpest, most detail 12 MP camera that you will love. It also has the classic Samsung color accuracy, bringing out shadows and softening objects. The whole deal that makes Samsung phones a little better.
There is also the ultra-wide camera, which is the softest of the 3 cameras. It will give you a fun perspective when we are taking photos in good lighting. It even has the Samsung much improved night mode.
Then there is the full 108 MP that can be toggled on, and it provides more detail to the photos you are taking. Even though you will have to crop out some part of the images later.
The main 108MP camera is massive, the sensors are larger allowing in more light to take better photos. The sensors in the main camera are so big and they remove the dual aperture feature that was shipped in the previous Samsung devices.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra sensors are open at f/1.8 all the time. These camera features combine to give you a razor-thin camera focus. That way things that aren’t in the plane of focus by even small inches are cut out.
Taking photos with the ultra-wide camera will only focus on your subject and blur out the background of the photos in a fringe manner.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra can shoot 8K. That’s the additional features that the new Snapdragon 865 is getting. Here is a laundry list of trade-offs that the Galaxy S20 Ultra is making with the 8k video:

Because of how much data is being processed, it takes a long time to process the video from the top to the bottom while on the Snapdragon 865 chipset. This creates a rolling shutter, making your video turn into jelly.
The file sizes are huge, 8k videos will take about 10MP per second, which might take forever to upload.
100X space zoom has been printed in the back of the phone and it comes from the typical 48 MP periscope camera seating on the phone’s side. Just because you have 100 X zoo, doesn’t mean that you should use 100X zoom all the time.

I have to note that the camera is better and worse depending on the setting and the environment that you are taking photos in. Though photos from the Google Pixel and the iPhone produce better quality pictures compared to the Samsung.

Camera Capability
The Realme 6 Pro has an impressive quad camera set up for a midranges phone.
It has a 64 MP, f/1.8, 26 mm wide main camera will give you fantastic photos with great detail in the right conditions. Though you might have a bit of noise in the quality of photos.
In low light the main camera takes wonderful photos, preserving the color while still gives you significant details in the shot you are taking. Night mode brings a boost in the shadows and it improves in the highlight retention, even though you lose on the sharpness.
Shots from the 8 MP, f/2.3, 13mm ultra-wide cameras are nice. You will notice good detail and a wide dynamic range. If you shoot with the Ultra-wide camera at night, you cannot get great photos. Their exposure is dark, even though the detail is okay.
In pleasant light, you will love the photos that you can take with the 12 MP, f/2.5, 54mm telephoto camera with plenty of detail, wider dynamic range, and lovelier colors.
The dedicated 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera doesn’t take great photos, there is plenty of noise, limited dynamic range. It seems more like an excuse for Realme to have a quad camera. Must be good for marketing.
You can shoot with the telephoto at night, and the performance is alright. The zoom-in this device has trouble focusing at night.

The Realme 6 Pro has a dual selfie, comprising a 60 MP and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. You will love capturing selfies with the ultra-wide. The HDR effect gives you smoother photos with more color rendition.
You can shoot videos of up to ultra-high definition 4k@30fps and 1080p @30/60/120fps. The video content has saturated colors and with a good dynamic range. But the sharpening is a little much, and the overall video is grainy.
As far as stabilization goes, the 4k doesn’t have any. Use a tripod if you want to get stable videos.

The Galaxy Note 10 Plus comes has two chipsets. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855chipset is in the China/US version devices while the global market gets Exynos 9825 chipset.
The SNAPDRAGON 855 wins in multi-core while the EXYNOS 9825 makes the phone perform faster. Though both chipsets make the phones perform great, there is a slight difference in how the battery is consumed because of the chipset.
The device runs on Android 9 and has 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. They also support the micro SD card for the expandable storage of 1.5 Terabytes. You can store a tremendous amount of series and movies on your phone without worrying about the storage space running out.
It’s no secret that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is a beast. What I love most is the fact that you can connect the Note 10 Plus to your laptop and operate it there.

The Note 10 Plus feels good when you are holding it in your hands. The device comes with a pre-installed screen protector, underneath the gorilla glass 6, to protect your screen from breaking.

Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 Trial Abruptly Stopped
Johnson & Johnson announced Monday that it had become the second company to halt its trials on a COVID-19 vaccine due to an “unexplained illness” affecting a trial participant.
We have temporarily paused further dosing in all our COVID-19 vaccine candidate clinical trials, including the Phase 3 ENSEMBLE trial, due to an unexplained illness in a study participant. Following our guidelines, the participant’s illness is being reviewed and evaluated by the ENSEMBLE independent Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) as well as our internal clinical and safety physicians. per Johnson & Johnson.
Why it matters: Covid-19 has changed how we live in the world. Many scientists believe that for life to come back to “normalcy” we will need a certain level of herd immunity.
For a vaccine program to be effective against a common pathogen, a certain percentage of the population usually needs to be inoculated and able to resist infection.
A high level of participation helps create what is called “herd immunity,” which is often necessary to safeguard those who don’t respond well to the vaccine, says Rob Kozak, a clinical microbiologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.
Clinical trial stages for Vaccines
Phase I. The drug is given to a small number of healthy people and people with a disease to look for side effects and figure out the best dose.
Phase II. The drug is given to several hundred people who have the disease, looking to see whether it works and if there are any side effects that weren’t caught during the initial testing.
Phase III. In this large-scale trial, the drug is given to several hundred or even up to 3,000 people. A similar group of people take a placebo, or inactive compound. The trial is usually randomized and can take 1 to 4 years. This stage provides the best evidence of how the drug works and the most common side effects.
Phase IV. Drugs that are approved for use undergo continued monitoring to make sure there are no other side effects, especially serious or long-term ones.
Covid-19 Trials that Have been stopped:
Oxford University has announced that final-stage testing of a coronavirus vaccine it is developing with drug maker AstraZeneca will restart following a pause last week after a serious side effect showed up in a volunteer.
Covid-19 Vaccines By the numbers: There are more than 100 projects centered around Covid-19 vaccines. Experts say the likely timeline for distribution of a vaccine is summer or fall 2021. The World Health Organization said in early September that a vaccine would not be available until mid-2021.
Scientists at CanSino Biologics in China are also working on a potential vaccine. In late July, they reported that participants in a phase II trial showed a strong immune response when given the vaccine. However, they noted older adults had a weaker response, suggesting two doses might be needed for that segment of the population.
University of Queensland in Australia. Researchers are developing a vaccine by growing viral proteins in cell cultures. They began preclinical testing stages in early April. The phase I trial in people will begin in early July.
Moderna. In March, the company began testing its messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine in a phase I clinical trial in Seattle, Washington. In mid-May, the company announced the vaccine had produced antibodies in all 45 trial participants in this initial clinical phase. The study included 45 healthy volunteers, ages 18 to 55, who are getting two shots 28 days apart.

China joins COVAX to help source and fund vaccines especially in third world countries. The COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access Facility (COVAX) is led by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and aims to deliver some two billion doses of vaccine around the world by the end of next year.

Boring Time Flies Event – Apples Latest Products for 2020
Apple just concluded the Time Flies even where they announced their latest Apple products for 2020 to 2021.
In the midst of Covid-19 tech companies are growing in value every day. One wonders why since there hasn’t been a lot to write about in new gadgets, especially phones. Though the current climate doesn’t allow for mass marketing of new gadgets, Apple has chosen to improve on the products they already have.
Here are the new gadget announced at the Apple Time Flies Event 2020
Apple Watch Series 6
I’ll be honest with you. Other than the fact that these watches are called Apple, you can get a better option in China. The only new thing in this series is that it can measure your blood oxygen levels. That’s supposed to be a major announcement. The only time I care about my blood oxygen levels is when my doctor is complaining.
Apple started Tuesday’s event by announcing the Watch Series 6. As expected, the Series 6 builds on the Apple Watch’s strengths as a health-focused device. New to this year’s model is blood oxygen monitoring. Apple says the Series 6 can measure the oxygen saturation of your blood in about 15 seconds. It will also check on it periodically as you sleep.
Other hardware upgrades include a new S6 chip that Apple says is more power-efficient and charges 20 percent faster. The Series 6’s always-on display is 2.5 times brighter than the one on its predecessor and there’s now support for 5GHz WiFi networks. You’ll be able to buy the wearable in a variety of new case colors, including blue aluminum and Product RED. Engadget
Notably, the Series 6 won’t come with a bundled power adapter under the assumption that most people who plan to upgrade to the new wearable already have a couple of those lying around somewhere.
The Apple Watch Series 6 goes on sale on September 18th in Kenya.

The iPad Air got a major makeover. To start, the tablet features a fresh iPad Pro-like design that Apple will offer in five different colors — including blue and green hues. No new phone but youhad better upgrade your phone starting tonight. The IOS 14 is out. As usual these phones companies promise the world including reading your mind. To me it just looks like another effort to get stuck on their App Store.
iOS 14 brings widgets to the iPhone home screen for the first time, gathers all of your apps into a new App Library, and adds picture-in-picture mode (which had already been available on iPads). There’s also a new Translation app. iPadOS 14 won’t let you put widgets anywhere you want on the home screen, but it does build upon what you can do with the Apple Pencil.
The new Scribble feature of iPadOS 14 lets you “write by hand in any text field across iPadOS, and your words automatically convert to text.” Additionally, more of Apple’s native apps are adding sidebars and expanded menus to take advantage of the iPad’s bigger screen. The Verge

Things to Consider Before Buying A Mid Range Phone in Kenya
For most manufacturers, mid-range phones are their bread and butter. They have better specs than than cheap smartphones but at the same time keep costs lower. Some of the things you should consider before you buy one include:
The Processor Type – A better processor means a better performing phone for you.
RAM – You are likely to stay with a mid-range phone for some time. A minimum of 4GB RAM is what I would suggest. Unless, you want to spend your weekends cleaning old files.
Battery Size – A good mid-range phone should have the battery capacity you need to do your work. In 2020, I’d suggest you take a look at phones with quick charging features.
The Price – Price matters and at between 25k to 35k you should get a durable phone that you will take pride in.
Brand – Yes, the brand matters. Android update frequency, user interface and brand value does matter in mid-range phones.
Choose wisely as one of the main reasons you buy a mid-range phone is longevity. It is not fun buying a ksh. 25k phone that breaks after a year. Trust me, I’ve been there and it’s not fun.
Which brings us to the Infinix Zero 8
It’s coming into an already crowded mid-range phone sector. We already have the Samsung M31, Huawei Y8p and my favorite Nokia 7.2. But I have to say, this a better offering than it’s predecessors.

The Zero 8 comes with Android 10 but they have to include their custom XOS 7 skin. I don’t mind an Android 10 but the XOS 7 skin can be annoying at times. The moment you turn on the phone, you get tens of notifications from apps that you will never use.
It will take you some time to set it up the way you wish to. Every app seems to come with it’s own permissions settings. If you forget to to turn them off, you end up with more notifications. This can be great for people who want to seem busy. But it’s a put off for those who are truly busy. In my view, those extra apps and permission settings need to go. Who knows what type of data I give access to the moment I turn it on.
Having said that, I do like the parental controls features on the phone. It’s not easy controlling kids with access to phones. It allows you to setup strict gaming parameters.
It also has a clever background resource optimization scheme. This lets you select apps that you want and app that you don’t want. Very handy when you need to control access to your apps.
The Infinix Zero 8 is based on a Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T chipset. It performs very well compared to others such as Redmi Note 8 and even the Samsung A21s. That came as a surprise.
The performance of this chipset is truly a surprise. Of course you can’t compare it to the higher end brands. However, if you need a phone with a smooth experience without the price tag, then it’s a good choice.
Display and Design
Though it’s plastic and I do hate plastic based phone, it does come with a unique design especially at the back. It’s cameras have been setup in a diamond shape that looks kinda cool. But the plastic will make you keep a wiper handy. Smudges and fingerprints are part of owning the phone.
I still can’t get my head around the plastic though. The camera bump requires proper placement on a surface or at least a larger than normal phone case.
Having said that, the phone feels study and easier to handle than previous Infinix phones which were the very definition of bulky. It is heavier on the lower side but that’s OK seeing that it comes with better features at the price range.
It comes in different colors such as Silver Diamond, Black Diamond, and Green Diamond. Someone in the company was really stuck on the diamonds this time.
Battery Life and Performance

Infinix has stuck to it’s original specs. They just love huge batteries. At 4500 mAh it’s not their biggest but will do very well for those who hate charging their phones. One extra cool thing is that it also has fast charging capabilities. For those who love big batteries, this is a great choice of phone.
According to GSM Arena, they weren’t very impressed with the excessive battery size versus the phone perfromance
However, the flip side of the story is that the Zero 8 is clearly leaving unused battery life on the table and outright wasting it in its 90Hz mode. That’s not a stab at the 90Hz mode, directly, though. It does what it is supposed to do – manually fix the refresh rate at 90Hz regardless of what is currently on screen, like a video player, playing our 24ish fps sample video GSM Arena.
In other words, better battery life does not equate to better performance. My pet peeve with these huge phones with huge batteries.
The saving grace is the 33W charger that allows you to fully charge in about an hour 20 minutes. For people like me who charge phones when asleep or in the office, it isn’t that great.
However, it’s a must have for those always on the go as it allows you to get to at least 50% charge in half an hour.
Camera and Video Capabilities
All their adverts are selling the camera capabilities. And unfortunately one is judged by their own words. You can’t compare this to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra but the Zero 8 has made a major step towards creating quality phones.
The phone design is not a mistake. They wanted to show that they can compete with the big brands known for camera quality. But having tested the Samsung M and A series, the phone still has some ways to go.
The Infinix Zero 8 can capture video at up to 4K@30fps on its main camera. The video as you can see below is not that great.

As stated earlier, the mid-range smartphones market in Kenya is very competitive. It’s harder for brands that are known for cheap phones try to compete in the sector. There are a few great alternatives to the phone not least being the Samsung Galaxy M and A series phones
Samsung Galaxy M31s
It’s hard to fault the M31s. If you really do need that extra battery power, then the 6000 mAh in the Galaxy M31s should satisfy you. They are priced in the same range but the M31s is a superior option.
The only problem is that you can only find a Dubai version in Kenya which doesn’t come with a warranty.
If warranties matter to you, then stick to the Zero 8
Tecno Camon 16 Premier
This was released just 2 days before the Zero 8. The phones are exactly the same in terms of specs. No wonder as they are both owned by the same Transission holdings company. If the brand name matters to you then you have a choice between the two phones.
Nokia 5.3
I am biased towards Nokia phones but this a review of the Zero 8 not a personal opinion. The Nokia 5.3 is just as good and in areas such as the camera build, 3x better. It’s a study phone and comes at a lower price point. The only difference is the battery size at 4000 mAh.
But I’m sure a difference of 15 minutes in battery life won’t deny you the pleasure of owning the better phone.
Our Verdict
There is a huge improvement in the Infinix Zero 8 in Kenya over previous versions of their phones. But one can’t escape that nagging feeling that there’s always something left on the table by Infinix and Tecno phones.
Granted they serve a huge market for those who cannot afford higher priced phones. This would be a good phone for someone who doesn’t care much about brand names and would prefer to have a smooth phones without gimmicks.

Samsung phones are famous for being big, and the Note 20 Ultra isn’t any different. The phone has a gorgeous screen of 6.9 inches, the device takes the perfect shape of a slab. This will make you feel as if you are using a notebook, which i guess its the whole idea behind the Note series.
Dynamic AMOLED 2X capacity touchscreen, 16M colors display is great. It sets you to enjoy your scrolling when you turn on the adaptive motion smoothness.
The resolution 1440 x 3088 pixels (~496 ppi density) is great. One thing you should know that you cant have max refresh rate at 120 and still get the maximum resolution on the screen. Though the fresh rates save on the battery life that would otherwise be consumed by the device.
The back of this smartphone has a matte finish, which looks better than a glossy finish, though its slippery than normal phones.
Both the front and the back of the phone have a Gorilla Glass Victus, which strengthens your phone and more resistance to scratch compared to normal glass being used on other phones.
JerryGigEeverything conducted a test on the phone, and he is quite impressed with it. He also found out that the device is covered with both plastic, gorrila glass and aluminum foil.
Cnet also, placed the gorilla glass under intense pressure to test its limits, turns out, it breaks. I guess glass is still glass.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has 12 GB RAM, which is enough for an android phone to perform a bunch of tasks without running out of storage. It also has a 126GB storage space. Allowing you to save up all the important content.
You can expand the storage up to 512GB using a SD card, and expense you will incur extra charges.
The processor of this phone is qualcomm snapdragon 439 Octa Core. They ensured that this flagship device is 5G enabled. This is great for those with ideas of a smart home.
Battery Capacity
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a 4500mAh High-capacity battery. You can use the screen time for up to 9 hours before you recharge it again. At night, the device is draining about 6-10% of the battery when on stand by.
You can fast charge it at 25 watts, reverse wireless charge at 4.5 watts and wireless charge your battery at 15 watts. This non-removable battery performs great for a big phone as the Note 20 ultra.

If you want to take a break from Samsung, consider the OnePlus 8 Pro. It has lots of similar features. Such as a 120Hz refresh rate, 30Watts wireless charging, Snapdragon silicon and IP68 rating.
One plus 8 Pro also has a quad main camera with 48 MP, 48 MP Ultra-wide camera, a 5MP color filter and a 8MP 3X telephoto. Pretty much of what we have seen on the Note 20 Ultra.
Verdict of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Review
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in Kenya is a great phone. What makes it perfect is the minor improvements made by the company. Better low light photography, all options when shooting video, no fingerprint smudge on the back of the phone and the variable refresh rate saving on the battery.
Could Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 do better? Yes, for a flagship of 2020 costing this much, they should expand the storage they are offering from 126 GB to 256 GB. But then again, every time you buy a phone there, a trade-offs you have to make.
Would i recommend you buy this phone? The answer is both Yes and No. Buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or 10 would still perform a decent job and they are less expensive.
One reason why people upgrade their devices is cause the latest smartphone is super nice and flashy. But that’s not with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the phone is not classy but it is a tech bump. it has better improvements from what there is on the other note smartphones. Making it worth your time and money when you buy this phone.

Kenyans to Benefit from Covid-19 Vaccine at ksh. 300 by 2021
With the rising cases of Covid-19 one thing is obvious. Kenya may have to rely on a Covid-19 vaccine before we get back to normal. The issue is not that Kenyans are dying. It’s just that the pandemic leaves too many unknowns on the table to get back to full economic capacity.
Serum Institute of India said on Friday it would receive $150 million in funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the GAVI vaccines alliance to make 100 million COVID-19 vaccine doses for India and other emerging economies as early as 2021.
The candidate vaccines, including those from AstraZeneca and Novavax, will be priced at $3 per dose and will be made available in 92 countries in GAVI’s COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC), the company said in a statement.
The Gates Foundation will provide the funds to GAVI, which will be used to support Serum Institute.
The Serum Institute is one of the largest manufacturer of vaccines in the world. Rather than charging high prices, it makes money by manufacturing at massive volumes.
The fear for most 3rd world countries is that even if a vaccine is found, it would take years to have it available. With the USA already spending billions to buy out stock from other drugs, the fear is not unfounded.
Too many times we’ve seen the most vulnerable countries left at the back of the queue when it comes to new treatments, new diagnostics and new vaccines. With COVID-19 vaccines we want things to be different. If only the wealthiest countries in the world are protected, then international trade, commerce and society as a whole will continue to be hit hard as the pandemic continues to rage across the globe. Gavi CEO Dr. Seth Berkley said in a statement.
The $150 million donation was made through Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, an organization that negotiates and finances vaccines for low-income and middle-income countries. Kenya has been listed among the 92 countries to benefit from this arrangement.
With over 31,000 confirmed Covid cases in Kenya and 414 deaths to date, A Covid-19 vaccine in Kenya will help us restart the economy.
