OOC
Ya know, when you work at a hospital, particularly the kitchen, you learn some really weird shit. And if your sense of humor wasn’t warped before, it will be after a couple years.
And hear phrases that would make even a seasoned sailor turn fifty shades of red.
Like, and pardon my harsh language, “number than a c*nt full of Novocaine.”

The viperwolf snapped at him, lunging for him with a vicious snarl. Upon seeing the weapon in his hand, it cut the lunge short. A swift recalculation later, it lunged again, aiming to swipe at his arm holding the weapon.
Shit! Zukenin leaped out of her hiding place, bow in hand. She didn’t notch an arrow in it, not yet. With a fierce cry, she came crashing down between the boy and the viperwolf. She struck it with her bow, sending it flying into a cluster of ferns with a yelp. The others lurched forward, snapping and snarling. One bit her leg, and she reacted by kicking it off. It recovered, and changed targets.
With no other choice, she notched an arrow in her bow, and in one swift motion, shot the offending animal in the chest. Its death was instant, dropping it straight to the ground. This brought the attack to a screeching halt. The pack, now seeing that the hunt carried more risk than reward, retreated.
Once she was sure that they had truly left, she turned her attention to the boy.
“Are you alright?” She crouched down, to try not to further frighten him with her size. At eight feet, she towered over the sky people. “Did they hurt you?”
Seeing as it went for him, Ventus fell back a bit to dodge. It seemed to back off though, thank god. Or maybe not. The beast did fall back, though only for a second before it charged once more.
The blond brought his key up to shield himself, block the attack maybe. As he did, a newcomer appeared with quite the battle cry. Maybe he should have something like that.
Not the time.
Still, the cry was rather fitting as she seemed to take on more than he could’ve handled. He hoped anyway. She seemed to be getting a bit pushed back. Maybe he should help.
That didn’t appear overly necessary however. Not when she took one out in a really cool way and scared the rest off.
Gaze up to reach her, he grinned quite widely.
“That was so cool! You need to teach me how to use that thing sometime!”
She breathed a sigh of relief, realizing he was okay. Her leg still stung and throbbed from getting bitten, reminding her that she had to address it. “Damn, that viperwolf got me pretty good.”
Her leg was bleeding, more than she would like. Unfortunately, she was a fool and didn’t take any medical supplies with her. She wasn’t planning on getting chewed up. Shrugging, she stood back up to her full height. “We should get back to my village. You’ll be a lot safer there than here. Those things are going to be the least of our problems.”

Zukenin had seen many sky people in the fifteen years of her existence. Some were, for lack of a better word, assholes (such as the ones who murdered her parents and burned down her home village), but others were kind.
This sky person was different, yet also familiar in appearance. Perhaps it was his resemblance to her lover, Tsaruu.
The most pressing matter, however? The fact that this boy was out as it was getting dark, which meant that the larger predators would be lurking soon. And Eywa forbid he run into any of those.
As if on cue, a spine-chilling, hyenalike sound rang through the forest. Viperwolves. Not as bad a thanators, but a pain in the ass nonetheless.

To the human, they would be the size of an Earth wolf. To her, no bigger than a fox. In numbers they could be deadly, and in this case it was a pack that was following the boy.
His awe carried his feet along and through the mystical world, though not by too far. No, he was interrupted before he could get too invested.
Was it real though? That question popped to his mind every so often. He’d seen a war play out before his eyes over the film of mere breakfast at home. Who’s to say whatever this was was real or not.
Lending to peace of mind or not, the tone wasn’t familiar so that indicated truth. And actually seeing the dog-like creatures cemented that further. Sure he’d seen a monster of sorts, one that turned out to be fake and real at any given time, but this one wasn’t something he’d seen or heard before, leaving him to summon wayward wind. Ven braced himself, keyblade readied and armed slightly behind his back.
“Nice doggy.”
The viperwolf snapped at him, lunging for him with a vicious snarl. Upon seeing the weapon in his hand, it cut the lunge short. A swift recalculation later, it lunged again, aiming to swipe at his arm holding the weapon.

Shiro gently moves his way through the crowd, letting the children touch as they pleased. He had nothing on his that could potential hurt anyone. He looks up at the man who approached. This must be the leader. He offer a small bow. “Hello. My name is Shiro.”
Jake nodded in return.
“That’s...” He tilted his head to the side, one eyebrow raised as he took in Shiro’s choice of clothing. “...quite the outfit there. Is that the new style for sky people?”
A few children giggled, and even Zukenin had to hide a smirk. Jake was amusing half the time.
(Shiro, pls, and hi!) Humans with limbs that could glow purple? Very abnormal, and it was enough to spark Zukenin's curiosity. So she began following this human through the forest of her home planet, Pandora. His attire was just as interesting. It looked like a suit of some sort, but it certainly wasn't one that was normally worn by the sky people.
Shiro looks around the planet. He doesn’t know what he should do. Apparently there were people on this planet he was supposed to contact for the Voltron coalition. He glances around. He had been wandering for what felt like hours and still nothing. He sighs and sits on a rock to rest.

This was new. But nothing unwelcomed. Not by any means. How could something so amazing, so warming be anything but welcomed. It was so blue, and while he would have preferred a green colourscheme, it reminded him of Aqua which was more than alright in his book. Besides, blue was a calming colour, and that’s exactly what he needed right now. To finally be at ease.
Even better was how the colours seemed to glow and bounce off the night sky. One full of glittering stars that if not for the aweing flora, Ventus probably would have fixated his attention on them instead. Those beautiful worlds up there, just ripe for exploring.
With all the distractions though, he did fail to realize he wasn’t quite alone.

Shiro nods,”I can understand. Visitors can be bad news…but I promise I mean no harm to you or your world. I just am hoping to make an ally. For now, lead the way.” He smiles at Zukenin.
Zukenin nodded before she began to lead him through the crowds. She didn’t have to do much to get the others to clear a path. Children and adults alike watched in awe and curiosity as they walked past. Some of the little ones reached out and lightly tapped Shiro as he passed them.
At the end of the crowd was Jake Sully, leader of the clan. Having heard the commotion, he too was working his way through the crowd. He came to a stop just a few feet away from Zukenin and Shiro.
“Word spreads fast around here.”
