Meet with Syrax…
Syrax was a she-dragon. She was ridden solely by Rhaenyra Targaryen. Her name came from a goddess of Valyria.

Rhaenyra Targaryen was the first-born child of King Viserys I Targaryen by his first wife, Aemma Arryn. At the age of eight she was made her father’s heir and grew up expecting to become the first ruling Queen of Westeros.

The Blacks of the Dance of the Dragons
I hate drawing children. Even The "Strong Boys" were a chore (except the twins Baela and Rhaena). I also had trouble with Rhaenyra. I want to redesign her jewelry.

The Greens of the Dance of the Dragons
I wanted the Blacks/Greens to look more regal than my previous character designs because they had such a long period of peace and prosperity. Everyone is a little plump and luxurious. Post the civil war it looks a little more drab.
Princess Helaena is my favorite hands down so far out of all the headshots I've done up to this point. Also, out of all the royal family designs I've done the Hightower-Targaryen clan looks the most similar to each other.

- We were at war, we were being slaughtered. Our sacred trees cut down. We needed to defend ourselves. - From who? - From you, from men.

The Wight Walkers are a symptom of the inhumanity of man. As the players of the Game of Thrones grow more vicious, the army of the dead increases its ranks. I call the Nights King and the WW “Slavers of the Dead” ™ not only because that’s what they are but also because slavery is symbolic of the ultimate inhumanity of man. (@oadara)

Weiss and Benioff suggested in the “Inside the Episode” for “The Door” that the White Walkers began wearing the armor only after Sam killed one of them, and that this incident reminded them that there were things that could still harm them (x)
