It took three weeks, but the Ghost family portrait is finally done! I really love how scaling down the front four after finishing each one increased the quality ( ie. made my painting ability look better than it ACTUALLY is 😂)

I'm a different anon and honestly I hate that moment with Levi and Historia I perfectly understand that Levi is "the violent type" but still I'm not fine with him strangling and yelling at Historia like that ! He doesn't have to do this honestly, this was just unnecessary violence for me (and something that I hate about Levi...)
We discussed this quite a bit when chapter 56 came out, and it’s come up occasionally since, most recently when Eren similarly grabbed Hange by the throat.
It’s never been my favorite scene, but it always felt important since it’s when we learned why Levi is fighting.
“I want to put an end to the nightmare… I’m fine playing the role of a lunatic… I’ll choose the hell of humans killing each other over the hell of being eaten. At least that way all of humanity doesn’t have to be damned.”
His concern for mankind is why Levi has no sympathy for Historia. He’s seen terrible things. He’s witnessed countless death. He’s just tortured a man. Levi accepts whatever role he needs for humanity not to be damned and he expects Historia to do the same. He tells her she must accept her role or mankind will have no future. There is no other choice.
It’s fine that people hate this moment. We aren’t supposed to cheer for Levi here. It’s supposed to make us feel uncomfortable. While Levi is the closest thing this manga has to a hero, Levi has never pretended to be one. As a character he is supremely aware that he is not a righteous person. He’s perfectly aware that his actions at times are morally repugnant.
