hi! if you're willing to share, what was the original pixel resolution for your recent piece titled "dish 🌆"? and do you have any advice on canvas sizing for aspiring pixel artists? x
hello! "dish" artwork is 500x500px! for beginners I would recommend using small canvases, I used 50x50 pixels when I started! also tips:
it’s been years and I still can’t believe they gave us Mike *munching on chips* oh no my girlfriend is mad at me *echoing belch* and Mike *bikes through the storm to the other side of the town* oh no, my best friend is mad at me *runs through the forest at night* in.the.same.episode
no bc actually. Dustin and Will are THE duo. mr. ‘dustin “i cant wait to tell will about this” while giggling at will’s funeral’ henderson and mr. william ‘“we’re going to talk to dustin’s girlfriend 😁”’ byers are literally the best friends of all time we need more of them
Will wanting to get doted on only by Mike. You know that makes Mike smug as hell that Will wants him and no one else do it. He probably was at the Byers house once, and Will asked for something, and Jonathan or Joyce were going to get it for him but Will stops them with the "Actually, I prefer Mike to do it. To grab it for me." And Mike's bolting lightning fast bc his man told him to serve and Mike's serving SERVING okaaaaay.
Plus, Mike makes himself so at home at the Byers that he's practically not a guest anymore, and if company comes over, it's Mike who is offering snacks and glasses of water with said company being like "Um, Joyce, I thought you only had 2 sons. Who is this?"
And Mike responds with "I don't live here, but I might as well. Will's personal knight/butler/whatever he needs me to be Mike Wheeler. Hello."
Hint in S3 that Joyce and Hopper were probably married in the original timeline
At the beginning of S3, Hopper asks Joyce out, but she declines. That evening, she watches an episode of the sitcom Cheers where a woman named Diane (like Hopper’s wife), tells her friend that this man, Frasier, asked her to marry him after he drank some Chianti.
Screenshots credits to @chirpsythismorning I’m also gonna link some of her posts. They’re just so good. Tagging you too @lilitblaukatz and @shippingfangirl013
So, In the sitcom, Diane leaves Fasier at the altar. Joyce never shows up at the restaurant. Also, she and Hopper have been separated by everything, from evil scientists to time manipulation.
But it’s the name Diane and the mention of Chianti, imo, the hint that Hopper’s wife, his Diane, is actually Joyce and that they were a family at some point.
Then there’s a flashback of Joyce and Bob. When I rewatched this scene, knowing what we know now about Vecna and timelines/time loop theories, I nearly spat out my tea.
Bob: They’re funny. I just wish they’d just get back together again already (Joyce: Me too)
He doesn’t say I hope they get together soon. They were a couple in the past. And Diane and Hopper had a child.
Also, in 3x03 Hop gets really drunk with Chianti.
But there are many other hints.
Some of my favorite
This one. Is insane, lmao.
Joyce’s line in one of the S1 flashbacks: I don’t know who’s been raising you. Then the transition from Will’s drawing (the fireballs/cabbages) to a close up of Hopper’s eyes.
All the Will-Sara parallels in S1. Plus this in S2, Will and Sara: curses, galaxies and black holes. My theory is that Sara is an altered memory and is actually Will or the combination of Will and El, Hopper’s kids, that the lab made him believe he lost. Unfortunately MKUltra was known for this kind of brainwashing.
Joyce calling Will, then Hopper. It’s interesting because it really seem like she’s saying Will Hopper.
I love that in S3 and S4 they keep saying let’s call our children, our kids are there… I mean, it makes sense, but IF Joyce and Hopper are Will, El and (I hope) Jon’s parents, when we’ll rewatch the show, we’ll realize that the truth has always been there, from the beginning, like David said. And it’s beautiful.
The father of biology, with little Hopper and his cabin in the frame.
A hidden hint at Will and Hopper connection at the end of S3 and S4
After another mention of Chianti, Joyce and Hopper almost making out in Russia and then twinning…
This post about MKUltra, Joyce and Terry
Also this post
Like, there’s twin imagery everywhere. I’m sure it’s also related to the Martin/Richard Brenner and Henry/Edward mystery. But Hopper, Joyce and their kids have been front and center from episode one. So it’s about both things. It’s all connected.
But speaking of Russia and making out, lol.
At the beginning of S4, Joyce must open the doll that Murray says could be pregnant with an explosive device. A mom with her kids, a boy and a girl, are looking at her, confused.
A few episodes later, Owens about Nina: It’s a fancy bomb. We used to store them in these silos, but we haven’t used this one in years. In fact, there is no bomb here at all. So we repurposed it to hold something much more powerful than a missile. You.
So Joyce has a doll that could be pregnant with a bomb but isn’t. And then we learn that one of the silos that were used to store bombs has been repurposed for El, who’s not a bomb but something more powerful.
Here the post
And the doll is actually “pregnant” with the proof that Hopper is alive.
So, the mention of pregnancy connects Joyce, Hopper and El. And the boy and the girl that look at Joyce while she’s opening the doll could mean that Joyce was pregnant with two powerful children.
I’m working on another analysis, because I noticed something that was always there under my nose! Can’t believe I didn’t see it before. I can’t wait to talk about it.
guys I just noticed this on the left is Dr. Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horror and on the right is Mike Wheeler’s main s4 outfit the triangle over the heart on the left was historically used to indicate people as gay and has now become frequent lgbt imagery (e.g. in Robin’s shirt) this is making me crack upppp
