12 'tablescapes' tell a personal story of 12 Oxford University Hospital Trust staff working in the areas of Cleaning, Catering, Portering and Estates across the four Trust hospitals in Oxfordshire UK (John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Horton General Hospital). They are installed permanently in cafes and restaurants at the four sites.

Dishes of Rotherham
10 cooks from contemporary Rotherham UK - from different cooking traditions, including Pakistani, Sudanese, Guinean, Ukrainian, Czech, Yemeni, Malaysian and British - visited Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham, chose an item of 1830s Rockingham tableware from the collections, and then cooked and styled their dishes to be served on the Rockingham items themselves.

Drawing Blood, Drawing Poison, Drawing Fire
A series of 20 new online animations inspired by an 1878 book in Gladstone’s Library, Hawarden, UK: "Gladstone from Judy'’s point of view, from the last ten years". The book collects cartoons satirising liberal political opinion from the pages of conservative magazine Judy. The programme made use of these cartoons as starting points, using public debate about hot topics in the 1870s to provide insights into the tone and topics of public debate today.

Flint Emblems
A series of four wall-mounted sculptures in painted and gilded soft chestnut and wrought iron, comprising markers in a new town trail in Flint, north Wales. The series visually references the twentieth-century history of the production of rayon fabric in the town, plus older traditions of work such as fishing and soldiering. Commissioned by Flintshire County Council.

The Knowlsey Flower Show Archive is an online archive presenting personal memories, materials and memorabilia of Knowsley Flower Show, UK, between its inception in 1999 and today. A book and touring exhibition accompany the Archive. In particular, the Archive focuses on the growers, competitors and visitors to the competitive growers’ Marquee, which remains the centre of the event.

Pearls of Wisdom
10 weekly comics strips in the Blackpool Gazette, working with Blackpool people to collect and publicly present the true wisdom of Blackpool – the personal insights into living that underpin Blackpool society. Commissioned by LeftCoast in response to a 2017 Financial Times article that used national deprivation indices as the basis for a description of Blackpool as importing the “unskilled, unemployable and the unwell” – a description visibly contradicted by Pearls of Wisdom.

Emblems
Six permanent sculptures in sweet chestnut, steel, wrought iron and gold, forming part of the Waddington Trail in the village of Waddington, Lincolnshire UK. Commissioned for the Ridges and Furrows Heritage Train by artsNK.
Titled Emblems, they are situated on buildings along the Waddington Heritage Trail, and as with emblems each of the sculptures refers to something that is know but unseen. The work was inspired by stories and drawings that came out of workshops with the local community in the summer of 2017 and research into the village’s history by project historian Dave Reeves.

The stories were selected from a group of over 100 UK case studies of real-life dementia care situations described by a wide range of carers.

Grennan & Sperandio worked with four employees of famous fabric and wallpaper manufacturer Panaz (Burnely, UK) to turn their lives, loves and work experiences into new patters for textiles and wallpaper for their own homes. Commissioned by The National Festival of Making.
