        Laughter soaked her tone, amusement high and clear, neon pink coiling around her body lazily, glowing brightly in comparison to their grey surroundings ( grey buildings, grey skies, unsteady drizzle, the works. ) Grin was crooked as a glance was tossed over her shoulder, though her gaze soon returned to the slowly moving drone in the sky, fingers twitching as neon sparked. Lingering signs of the D.U.P. just pissed her off thoroughly. Like seeing vermin in a place where they didn’t belong, even after EXTERMINATION. Irritating. The amusement drained, leaving instead a deep frown, and furrowed brows.

       Not that he's, in any way, against the idea of such a proposition ( competitive spirit rushes through the canals of every artery & vein that intertwines within his body, so of course he would look forward to a CHALLENGE ), which becomes a tangible nuance in his disposition with his gradual increase in velocity, a widely spread grin accenting the teasing manner his tone adopts. Despite the heavy GLOOM that swathes Seattle from top to bottom, Delsin can't help but smile -- something about this brings along a sense of belonging & acceptance; he doesn't feel so ostracised anymore. Of course, though, with the mention of DUPs poised on the tip of companion's tongue, a sincere smile soon casts downward to form a frown, eyes squinting up at the grey-slate sky above.
