The "Kurt Cobain didn't kill himself" conspiracy makes me so mad because so many teens believe it and are fed the "he loved his daughter obviously he didn't kill himself!" and "he looks so happy here do you think he would commit suicide?" rhetoric and as a result develop wrong ideas of what depression is like. People are insanely invasive and unempathetic in that regard. I also think it's super strange how people idolize his sadness in his music but try to deny the ugly parts of it. This is not meant as an insult to you at all!, I think as a young kid in the Nirvana fandom it is tough to avoid the conspiracy, I just think it's a prime example of how harmful conspiracy theories can be, no matter how small they are or if they might be true. Even if it is true, so much false information on mental health has circulated and been spread in the name of this conspiracy. And even if he didn't commit suicide, that doesn't mean that he wasn't struggling. Like... You really wouldn't expect Kurt Cobain fans to have some of the most backwards views on mental health but here we are. Same as how the Kaylor fandom can be insanely homophobic. It's strange, but I think when you only want to see very specific parts of a larger topic that fit your narrative you end up developing a warped view of it.

I still remember very vividly the moment my obsession with the Kurt Cobain conspiracy ended. I stumbled upon this interview with a guy who basically debunked every argument of the theory and I… didn’t believe him. At all. I was just extremely frustrated because what is the point of it all if people are just going to be so blatantly obtuse, right? The authorities, the general public and now this dude with his silly little interview, they were all ignoring The Truth ™. I was too angry to keep researching about it, so I dropped it.

And then life happened and I completely forgot about it.

It wasn’t until relatively recently, about 4 years ago, that The Last Podcast On The Left made a few episodes about the whole thing. Before I listened to it, I remember thinking (even though I wasn’t as convinced of it being a murder anymore, if at all) that I’d still find a couple of details that would make me go 👀. But nope. Once I wasn’t emotionally attached to this version of events, nothings about what happened seemed at all suspicious. Anything that I used to consider weird was very easily explained.

And this is why I always tell you guys not to bother messaging Kaylors. Don’t believe for a second that there’s anything you can say to them that will make them change their minds. Their reasoning is anchored by emotions. They need to stop caring about Karlie and Taylor being together, for them to even consider that maybe Karlie and Taylor aren’t together.

Okay, so, first one. Can we all agree that Epstein didn’t simply kill himself? I don’t claim to know what happened, but I have questions is what I’m saying.

In other angles it’s more obvious Karlie and Tay are just talking and it’s noisy so they’re leaning in close together.

Taylor was making eyes at Matty Healy (and he at her) and reports suggest they made out backstage and both of them skipped the after party so while they didn’t leave together it’s very possible they met up.
