one of my favourite things about the cars fandom is how we all collectively agree on specific facts about the characters while also having our own lore to go around them. like those hcs are just cemented in stone and we build around them in our own ways.

doc is lightnings father figure? HELL YEAH
lightning has parental issues? hell yeah

Most people in the fandom (including myself) have just always seen Doc as a father figure to McQueen and so the idea of them in an actual ship just completely flips that idea on its head—
