Photo a day, day 48. Venice Beach skate park, July 2014.
I love how wide angles can capture so much in one photo and add a bit of drama to any scene. Also, after years of using GoPros I know you can get great wide angle photos by attaching your camera to a pole to give yourself the ability to place your camera in unconventional positions. BUT, GoPro photo quality sucks so I started putting my Sony A7 with a 14mm lens on the end of a monopod and use the sony smartphone app to remotely trigger my camera. Once I found a good angle at the skatepark all I needed to do was wait for a skater to pass though to give my photo a little extra life.
