The Newcrest Chronicles - Mekhi McMahon
The next household is the McMahons. As far as most people know, they are your normal suburban family... but what people don’t realize is that it is all a front. They are actually Alien pirates from space! After a heist went sideways they were forced to lay low in the town of Newcrest.
Mekhi McMahon is the father of the family and former Captain of their ship. He is ambitious, neat, and a bit of a geek. Being out of the game so long, he is past his prime and has fully integrated into the suburban lifestyle.

Every leader needs a trusted right hand. Gabriel is that for Darian. He is a mysterious person that no one can truly figure out. People suspect he is not human, but he is also not a vampire. The only thing that is known for certain is that Gabriel has sworn to serve Darian and would lay down his life fo him.
Gabriel Tomlin is a Master Chef who is sweet, neat, and a foodie. He makes sure that Lindquist Manor runs smoothly. He operates as both a butler and bodyguard.

Darian is a master vampire and leader of the vampires in Newcrest. Though he is very good at upholding appearances, it’s a well-kept secret that he doesn’t like to drink the blood of humans. He feels sympathy for them. There are vampires that think that he has become too soft and should be overthrown, but no one has ever succeded in taking him down.
Lord Darian Lindquist is known for his genius almost as much as he is known for his sarcasm. He’s also a lover of music but tends to master anything that he tries to learn. Over the decades, he has mastered a multitude of skills, and never passes up the opportunity to learn something new.

Ashlyn is Damon’s kid sister and his complete opposite. While his style is darker and edgy, she’s all pastel pink and sunshine. She loves her brother unconditionally, and because she was a toddler when her parents passed away he is the only adult in her life.
Ashlyn Stone is young, so she is still developing as a person, but so far she is a creative social butterfly. She loves people and makes friends very easily.

In a world of supernatural creatures, it’s a give in that there would be someone opposed to it. Damon is that someone and lives next door to the ‘Muggle’ household. His parents were killed by vampires, and so he has a grudge against them. He plans on being a hunter.
Damon Stone is a hot-headed, vegetarian, who hates children. This is ironic because he has to take care of his younger kid sister. He isn’t the best older brother, but he does care for her in his own way.

The A-Z Challenge - “D”
Jay met Jayce next, in the same place she met Kenny. He was instantly smitten with her, and it was quick work getting him back to her place.
He was pretty much a one night stand, and after they did the deed never really crossed paths with him again. Turns out, he was a criminal and was probably on the run. Just her luck!
Thanks to Jayce, she was able to give birth to her second set of twins! The first one born was Dakota, who got his piercing blue eyes from his father and Jay’s hair. He was a super sweet toddler, one of the easiest to raise.
The second twin was Dante, who received his red hair from his father and green eyes from Jay. He was a bit rowdier than Dakota, but she was still a good boy.
As a child, Dakota was a pretty smart boy. A ‘B’ student and also a star athlete! The monkey bars were his favorite to play on.
Dante, on the other hand, skimped on his school work. He consistently got ‘D’s because he tended to do everything he could to avoid doing homework. Since Jay had her attention split between all his other siblings, he was able to stay under the radar and get away with such bad grades.
Despite their difference in personalities, the twins were still very close with each other. Both being active, they spent most of their free time outside.
When Dakota became a teen, he gained the nickname Dakota “Leg Day” Kroupa due to his very defined leg muscles and his affinity for shorts.
Dante, however, received the nickname “D for Dante” because of his ever-present ‘D’ on his report cards.
As a teen, Dante also ditched his glasses for contacts in a hope that it would make him more attractive to the opposite sex.
Unfortunately for Dante, most girls seemed more interested in his brother who was both handsome and smart. He felt Dakota was a waste because his brother never persued anyone who was interested in him.
While Dante was more focused on girls, Dakota kept up his studies and workouts. Having a criminal father on the run gave him a lot of Daddy Issues. He didn’t want to end up becoming a man like that, so he set his sights on aiming to become a detective.
Both Dakota and Dante loooved playing with their fussy baby sister Fae (who is in a future post). They were the best at getting her to stop her tantrums.
Alvin, being the best big brother ever (if a bit of a bad influence), convinced his brothers to go out to the bar with him... passed curfew. Naturally, Dante was all for it.
Dakota took a bit more convincing, but they dragged him along eventually. Good thing too! It turned out that it was Alien Night, and he ended up meeting the most beautiful person he had ever met. Her name was Ainsley.
She was a doctor and way out of even his league because she was a young adult, but Dakota couldn’t help but talk to her.
Dante still wasn’t having much luck in the lady department, but he cheered his brother on from the sidelines. He and Alvin joked on the way home that Dakota had to thank them if Dakota and Ainsley ever got married.
Dakota and Dante ended up being a real gift for Jay. The two of them really stepped up to help their mother with the house and their younger siblings.
They helped with cooking, cleaning, and putting their siblings to bed. Jay knew that any girl that they ended up with would be happy to have them as fathers.
Dante’s struggle with schoolwork and procrastination continued. It came to a point where he was in danger of failing completely.
Dakota and their brother Elijah (will see in next post) decided to take it upon themselves to help Dante out. He ended up passing but stayed in the D range.
As an adult, Dakota became Detective Dakota “Leg Day” Kroupa.
Meanwhile, Dante went into the Athletic field.
Now old enough, Dakota tried to shoot his shot with Ainsley.
He brought her to the bar and there were instant fireworks!
Things even got a bit hot and heavy in a closet, which Dakota never thought he’d be tempted to do in public.
Dakota, Ainsley, and Dante all moved into this beautiful house together.
It wasn’t long before Dakota proposed and married Ainsley.
Dante, however, contined to have trouble with his dating life.

No trio is complete without charming oddball and as the last member of the “Muggle” household that is exactly, you’ll get.
Mitchell Decker is a morally good goofball that loves the outdoors. His aspiration is to be a Freelance Botanist. His mission no matter what is to always put a smile on someone’s face. Even as a child he was always a class clown, and that shows in both his attitude and the way he dresses. He is closer to Ryan and Scarlett than he is to his own family.

Ryan’s best friend and the second member of the “Muggle” household is this bucket of sass.
Scarlett Whittfield is a self-assured, snobby, perfectionist. Her aspiration is to be the life of any and all parties. While Ryan is a bit of a goody-goody, Scarlett likes to live a little closer to the edge. She’s not afraid to tell things like it is, and god forbid you cross her.

The Newcrest Chronicles - Ryan Paige
I decided to start up a new game to play around with, in which I’m going to drop a few rando households I make and fill up Newcrest just to see how things go. Haha. The first household I did is labeled as “Muggles”, because they’ll likely be the only normal beans in town. Think of them as young adults fresh out of college, wanting to make their own way in the world.
Our main character is Ryan Paige. She is outgoing, clumsy, and a total bookworm. Her aspiration is to be a best-selling author, or at the very least make a novel someone considers worth reading.

The A-Z Challenge - “C”
The third man that Jay got to fall for her was Bijorn, a sexy secret agent... who also, like Arun, happened to be married. Oops.
One thing led to another, and Jay ended up pregnant with her ‘C’ baby. Due to my carelessness, I don’t have a picture of Cedric as a toddler, but he was a relatively well-behaved youngster. Especially when compared to Alvin and Alicia. That said, he was a perpetually sad child whenever he felt even a slight discomfort... a trait which followed him into his adulthood.
When Cedric aged up, it was very obvious that he got a lot of his looks from his father despite getting his coloring from his mother. He wasn’t very physically active as a kid, preferring instead to write his thoughts in his journal and play with the dollhouse to the point where he started writing stories for the dolls to act out.
That habit turned into him performing plays for his family, something that everyone involved seemed to enjoy. As a student, he was a ‘C’ like most of his siblings but excelled in being creative just as they had. School just didn’t interest him as much as writing did.
Eventually, Cedric aged into a teen and experienced much of the same. His moody personality, while causing him to be occasionally sad, fueled his writing. However, he did discover something else in his stages of puberty.
He found that he wasn’t interested in the girls his age. He much preferred the company of his fellow men and after a while, Cedric realized that this was because he was gay. Jay had felt that this was a likely thing for a while before he realized because Cedric never brought home any girls. She, nor any of his siblings minded his preference for the same sex and so he did not face much hardship in that department (at home, anyway). School might have been another story, but Cedric didn’t like to talk about it much.
After the death of his father, Cedric (with the help of his mother) was able to find and connect to one of his older half-sisters, Elsa. He also has a sister named Sofia, but unlike Elsa, she kept her distance.
Because of their difference in age, Cedric didn’t really have much of a relationship with his brother Alvin until the older boy moved out. That said, because of his older brother’s frequent visits to the house, they’ve grown much closer than before.
Towards Cedric’s later years as a teen, he grew closer to an eccentrically dressed classmate named Seiji. Because of his angsty nature, he didn’t really have many (if any) friends. Seiji was the first person aside from his family that didn’t seem to mind hearing his melancholy thoughts every now and then. To the point where Cedric grew a bit of a crush on him.
Cedric wasn’t that great with kids, but helped out his mother with Fae (you’ll learn about this ‘F’ baby later) whenever possible. He hated washing her though because Fae tended to love to get him all soaked. He vowed that if he ever had kids he would adopt a child, that way he could skip such difficult moments such as this. Toddlers are the bane of his existence... even if Fae is a soft spot.
Once Cedric aged up into an adult, Belle offered him a place at her house since she had a spare room. He accepted and also got himself a job as a writer.
To add to it, Seiji revealed that he’d had a crush on Cedric along too, and the two of them got together.
Seiji works as a politician and now lived with Cedric and Belle as the angsty romantic writer’s boyfriend. They make quite the interesting pair, as one could imagine.

The A-Z Challenge - “B”
Since Jay is on a baby making mission, not long after the twins were born she headed to the Starlight Lounge for potential targets men. Instantly her eyes landed on an older man by the name of Dario, who goes by Kenny for his striking resemblance to a man by the same name from TWGD.
Unlike Arun, he was single and Jay found it to be a nice change of pace. He was very easy to talk to and they hit it off right away. He consoled her after a guy kind of blew her off and it was very touching.
She invited Kenny back to her apartment and one thing lead to another. It actually took multiple times for Jay to get pregnant with his child, because sadly he was having a little trouble down there in his old age... but eventually they did get a bun in the oven!!
They had a beautiful baby girl by the name of Belle... and unlike Arun, Kenny was there for his daughter a lot. From baby to toddler, and even took care of the twins in their father’s stead (before he stepped up, anyway)!
Kenny’s choice of fashion was questionable at best.... his favorite thing to wear being his raccoon suit (causing us to believe he’s a closet furry, ha). However, he was always there for Belle and still stands as having the strongest relationship with his child than any of the other fathers.
It wasn’t until Jay and the kids moved into a much bigger house that Kenny and Arun met officially. While Jay slept, he was sure to give Arun a piece of his mind about his absence from his kids’ lives early on. He seemed to take it to heart.
Belle looooooved her Mama so much that she kind of resisted having to walk on her own when she first aged up. (Well, it was a game glitch, but shh).
Eventually, however, she became more independent and spent a lot of her time with the science table and actively doing homework on her own. Unlike her older siblings, she liked school and managed easy ‘B’s all throughout.
Kenny would invite Belle over to his two-story penthouse to wait for him while he was at work. It was surprising to see how big it was considering he was a bartender, but she always had fun playing with things while she waited up for him.
She didn’t really have many friends and since the twins were older than her she often played by herself. When her younger brother Cedric aged up, however, they grew close. (You’ll learn more about him in the next post).
It was nice finally having a sibling around her age to play with.
When Belle aged into a teen, it became very clear she had gotten her father’s *very* distinct nose, despite almost everything else being her mother’s.
She was insecure about her nose at first, but her father encouraged her to embrace it and her mother and siblings all loved her nose. Eventually she grew confidence with it.
Alicia, her cooler and edgy older sister, in particular made sure she kept her head up. The young artist could feel her pain since she’d gone through similar insecurities with her triangle chin.
Alvin often checked in on her after he moved out. Seeing him around was always a happy surprise.
Meanwhile, Kenny and Jay stayed close even with Jay’s constant baby making.
Jay gained weight was she came into adulthood, but Kenny didn’t care.
He was even there when the family visited the twins home for the first time. Seeing such a strong connection really warmed Belle’s heart.
Belle developed a crush on Krishna, who at the time she did not realize was the brother of Alvin’s girlfriend due to how different the two looked. Unfortunately, due to her awkward unflirty nature nothing ever went anywhere with him... and after a humiliating encounter they decided it was best to just be friends.
Belle grew into a beautiful adult, and now works as a scientist. She doesn’t visit nearly as much as her mother would like due to her busy schedule, but when she does it is always a good time.
She lives right next door to her older siblings in this lovely abode.

The A-Z Challenge - “A”
My friends and I decided to take a crack at the A-Z Challenge and since I’ve been having so much fun with it I figured I should record it here for Posterity! Haha. It’s really fun! I recommend giving it a try. In any case, onward and forward!
This is our girl right here. Jayleen Kroupa, a romantic artist with a love for love and a weakness for hot men. She’s very good at buttering people up to the point where she’s gotten nearly all the men she’s set her sights on. (Except Victor.... but we don’t talk about Victor).
The first day, Jayleen met her neighbor Arun (on the left) during a housewarming party. He was instantly taken with her (despite the fact that his wife was standing right behind her).
It only took a few hours for him to fall for her, hook line and sinker. She ended up having twins, who I both gave A names to because I decided to make the challenge a little harder on myself. The twins were:
A baby boy by the name of Alvin,
and a baby girl named Alicia.
Arun didn’t really have much to do with the twins life until they hit toddler stage, and then he started coming over every day. Considering that Jay was already on man #2 and pissed off with Arun for skipping out on the baby’s birth... one can imagine she didn’t really like having him around.
When the twins grew up to children, we found out why Arun had been so absentee.
They had a brother named Ulises who was near exactly their age... so Arun’s wife had been pregnant at the same time as Jay. Pfft.
Growing up, the twins were already around each other. They laughed together, they played together, they got scared about the monster under their beds together.
It came to the point were they didn’t make that many friends in elementary school because they were too busy playing with one another.
They also spent a lot of time at their father’s house. Alicia grew kind of close to Arun, while Alvin grew a bit closer to their brother Ulises.
Alvin and Alicia were ok kids and teens, but were more than a bit of a handful to deal with. They made messes often and didn’t do their homework unless asked. They were C students and their performance in school was merely “ok”. Jay tried her best but she worked on top of taking care of their other siblings so she couldn’t always be around to discipline them. They tended to skip school a lot.
Ulises also had part in their bad habits (so clearly it’s from Arun’s genes, pfft).
That said. The twins took after their mother in the creative department. Alvin started playing the violin as a child and Alicia loved to paint.
Alvin used his musical talents to win over his lady love right after his birthday into young adulthood.
She currently lives with him and Alicia in the house they bought right next to their family in newcrest.
Alicia has the little house in the back.
