remember in School of Rock where the black girl was afraid to say she wanted to be a singer because she was fat and didn’t want to get laughed at but Dewey was all “who gives a shit, I’m fat too and so is aretha franklin but we’re still valuable and we rock” and then the girl felt better without having to be told that beauty comes in all sizes or some other bullshit. thats the kind of body positivity I’m looking for. tell these babies that they’re worth a damn without tying it to any other arbitrary ideals

ok not to state the obvious but I’m so, so glad they didn’t kill Willie while they were god. they chose love. this season has been about being torn between two things (two worlds, love or hate… etc) and to me, it’s perfect that it started with love and it ended with love. Dude was saved with love. Terry Jr was brought back because of love. He got to see his daughter again. and willie died because he prioritized hate and power over connection and love (COUGH scary arc). anyways. yeah. narrative arcs go hard

I was just re-listening At the Mountains of Dadness.

and it just occurred to me in universe this would be a hell of an unsolved mystery that would be features on like every true crime podcast ever.

like first, a famous actor goes missing, which in itself would be a hell of a popular unsolved mystery.

But add to that you have a Line producer from the same studio also go missing at the same time. and not to mention the somewhat bizarre phone calls and telegrams sent to his girlfriend, where he keeps delaying when he'll be home, (Starts off with he'll be home for dinner, then changes to home for breakfast, then home in 3 days, then home in 6 days) . makes it seem suspicious, almost like someone was making him make these calls...

and on top of that you have Sally aka Hildy, who on looking into the case, it would be found out that she used a fake identity to gain employment at the studio shortly before the disappearances. and when found that she was a reporter, it would be discovered, that she requested $50, and a gun to be left at a train station for her.

and then there would be Stud. who doesn't have a real connection to the others. and i feel like people would be split on whether he was another victim in what ever happened, or if he was in on whatever happened.
