ive never written a single thing for any batman works, and honestly figuring out the comic timelines and plot relevant-things and planning everything sounds like a nightmare, but... fic where tim drake accidentally lets it slip that he knows who robin/batman is, and when theyre all startled and looming over him and getting aggressive, he just blurts out that he figured it out because he's psychic and actually hes known for years but he swears he never/will never tell anyone. and then bruce is all "hrrrmngh i hate hate hate metas in gotham and in my head and everything,, but i cant just kick the kid out of gotham alone and driving the whole of drake industries out would attract Way too much attention. i see my only options is adoption keeping an eye on him to make sure he doesnt get into trouble". and then ofc having a psychic right there when investigating crime scenes would be very helpful- "what do you See, tim?" "ahaha, y-yeah, um, there's... definitely bad vibes in here!! very, very bad vibes....." and ofc bruce has seen so much weird shit that he doesnt question tim being a psychic at all; how else would a ten year old kid know he was batman? jason is absolutely certain tim is Not psychic and is losing his mind trying to prove it, dick thinks he is psychic but is lying about the nature/specifics of his powers for trauma reasons, and alfred knows tim is lying but doesnt care at all thinks its a little funny. anyways yeah just baby genius tim using Observational Skills and Educated Guesses to make himself look psychic. and also Trauma and Touchstarvation ofc <3

chapter 416 was so cute

Ah I think it's very interesting how Sayaka's magical girl weapon is a sword, which requires her to do a lot of close-combat melee fighting, whereas the other girls had longer range weaponry. Mami has guns, Madoka has her bow and energy arrows, Homura has her explosives and other stuff that goes 'bang'.

Kyoko is the exception here because her weapon is a spear, which also means she too needs to get up and personal with witches when she fights -- and it's worth noting that Kyoko is the one character who's storyline and arc most directly foils Sayaka -- but even then, her spear allows her far more distance and stability, thus safety, in a battle.

It seems that Sayaka was set for a rather dangerous career as a magical girl purely by design.

I wanted to make postcards with new art, but my progress was SO BEHIND so I ended up polishing a 95% finished one and took this to print instead. Fortunately this piece turned out really good and I love it a lot 🥺♥️

it has all my favourite elements, Taisho era, sakuras, Roy being a meanie..... And I'm honestly quite satisfied with the outcome 🌸💖

A bunch of technical issues happened at the printing shop that I went to, so I accidentally ended up with wayyyyyyyy more copies than I meant to order.... And got a few XL sized ones even (because of formatting error).....I have no idea what to do with them lmao

Regardless, I'm quite glad that I took the drawing to print and it makes me giddy looking at the prints. The last time I printed anything was like, 6 years ago and it was rather embarrassing cbjskcmzmxm

My 7 year old iPad Pro is retiring... The screen has developed a really large shadow, so I took it to the apple store to ask about repairing, and they said it's gonna cost me 510USD. Like wtf!!!!! With that I can literally buy a whole new iPad!!!

So. I'll need to get a new one because I can't go without being able to draw and it does bother me quite a lot... However, I need help with deciding which one to get because I'm broke and considering downgrading to iPad Air, but I'm really not sure about how it will perform compared to the Pro which I am very accustomed to.

+ roughly the same size as pro

+ is significantly cheaper

+ still works well with apple pencil

+ similar spec aside from the chip

- M1 chip (which my current Gen-1 pro also uses, but it'd be good to have an upgrade because it does lag sometimes)

- lower frame rate (not sure how much it will impact my experience)

Pro:

+ I'm used to it

+ M2 chip=faster and better frame rate, can handle bigger illustration files

- more expensive

All in all I'm really sad that I have to replace my tablet and I'm very mad at apple (as always)
