ok the proposal isn't due til like next friday and my manager is working on it with me so im not so stressed about it anymore

my boss wants help putting a proposal together which is fine except it's payroll day and friday which means i have a bunch of shit to deal with 😑

my massage therapist went off about how jkr sucks and trans people are oh so oppressed and how the nyt (I think that's what it was) has to state that they "identify as x" and that's bad. I didn't really get into it too much because she's really good at her job and has good availability and i didn't want to be banned for being a terf or whatever but I did say that, at least in some cases, it's important to specify sex because trans women are still socialized as men and in instances like violent crime calling them a woman obscures the problem of male violence, and she was like, ok yeah that's a good point, which was refreshing
