💝ISLAMIC DRESS CODE FOR WOMEN💝 يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا " O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful." (Al Quran 33:59) Muslim woman dress code: 1. Do not display your beauty to strangers (cover your body and hair). 2. Do not dress to show off your beauty. 3. The clothes should not be see-through or thin. 4. Do not wear your hijab like a hump of camels. 5. The clothes should be loose and not describe any part of the body. 6. Do not wear perfume when going out. 7. Do not imitate men in dress. 8. The clothing should not look like the non-muslims' clothing. At the end of the day, we wear the hijab because it is an order from Allah. "We hear and we obey." And yes, it is obligatory. ▪ 💝DEN MUSLIMSKA KVINNANS KLÄDKOD💝 "Profet! Säg till dina hustrur och dina döttrar - och till [alla] troende kvinnor - att de [utanför hemmet] noga sveper om sig sina ytterplagg; på så sätt blir de lättare igenkända [som anständiga kvinnor] och undgår att bli ofredade. Gud är ständigt förlåtande, barmhärtig." (Koranen 33:59) Klädkoden för muslimska kvinnor 1. Visa inte din skönhet för främlingar (skydda din skönhet, hår och kropp, med kläder) 2. Klä dig inte för att skryta med din skönhet. 3. Kläderna ska ej vara genomskinliga eller tunna. 4. Styla inte din hijab med en "puckel" på huvudet. 5. Kläderna ska vara pösiga och inte visa hur kroppsformen ser ut. 6. Ta inte på dig parfym när du går ut. 7. Klä dig inte som en man. 8. Kläderna ska inte likna människor som inte är muslimer. Det är faktiskt så att vi bär hijab för att det är en del av vår religion, för att Allah har sagt det. 💝💝💝 Before people know my name, they know my religion. Before people know where I come from, they know my religion. Why? Because they see the hijab I wear. A sign of righteousness. Mary (Maryam, umm'Isa) had it. Mother Teresa had it. Even the highly respected Christian nuns have it. The native matriarchs of my culture have it. People ask how they can start loving themselves and the way they look - by covering your body and only show it to the people who REALLY value you as a human, with intellect, dreams and opinions. My hijab does not stop me from living. It protects me from the worlds evil and being seen as a piece of meat. It is the physical manifestation that I and my body is not up for show. People talk about "my body and my rights", when God gave us this concept a looong time ago. I am honoured and raised by wearing hijab. I respect myself and I do not let myself be treated however other people want. My hijab is a rejection of the ever-changing fashion industry. But most importantly: It is a symbol of my faith, Islam. ▪▪▪ 💝💝💝 Innan människor vet mitt namn, så vet de min religion. Innan människor vet vart jag kommer ifrån, så vet de min religion. Varför? För att de ser min hijab. En symbol för fromhet. Maria (Maryam, Jesus mamma) hade hijab. Moder Teresa hade hijab. Även de högt respekterade kristna nunnorna har hijab. Likaså de samiska matriarkerna hade hijab. Folk funderar hur de kan börja älska sig själva och sitt utseende - genom att skydda sin kropp och utseende och bara visa de som verkligen värderar dig, dina drömmar och dina åsikter. Min hijab hindrar mig inte från att leva. Den skyddar mig från världens ondska och att bli sedd som något man kan förbruka och kasta bort när man är uttråkad. Människor talar ofta om "rätten till min kropp", när Gud gav oss detta koncept för läääänge sedan. Jag är ärad och upplyft av att bära hijab. Jag respekterar mig själv och jag tillåter inte att människor får behandla mig och min kropp hur som helst. Min hijab är ett avfärdande av den ständigt föränderliga modeindustrin. Do not wear clothes that are see-through or thin. 3. Do not expose the 'awrah (your nakedness)(between the navel to the knee). 4. Do not dress like a woman. 5. Do not let your pants/thobe hang below the ankles. 6. Do not wear clothes for fame or vanity. 7. Cut your hair all the same length. 8. Let your beard grow and cut your mustache. And all Muslims agree on that and say it multiple times a day?? Mahmud ibn Labeed reported that The Prophet Muhammad sallahu alayhi wa salam said: "If Allah loves a people, then He afflicts them with trials. Whoever is patient has the reward of patience, and whoever is impatient has the fault of impatience." Musnad Aḥmad 23122.
