Asch x Reader | Whiskey & Jealousy
Synopsis: after your promotion, you go out drinking with Jake. Asch doesn't take it very well.
Word count: 488
Author's note: It's been a while hasn't it? This is a writing exercise I did. Fluff, but keep it under 500 words. Please enjoy! My next update might take some time. It's an Asch x Reader x Pierce that takes place before the magic crisis. (I might also update the cover so—)
———
You couldn't believe it! Out of all the daemos in the gang, you just had to fall for the hot-headed daemos prince! It just had to be him. Perhaps it was his muscular body, or raspy voice. You didn't know.
All throughout work, you thought of the prince. And when you came back? You still did...
You lay face-down on your bed burying your face in the pillows. All you could think about was him.
Ding!
Your phone buzzed, as your boss's contact illuminated your screen.
——————
Boss: "hey y/n! I'm promoting you to senior advisor. Sorry I can't tell you in person!"
——————
You punched the air in excitement, immediately searching for your landlord-friend's contact and began typing: "guess what! Ya girl got promoted!!!!"
A reply came quickly: "congratulations! Are you going to celebrate?" You pondered on his question for a while. Did this warrant a celebration? Before you could give it any more thought, another reply came: "drinks on me?" A smile crept up your face. Drinks did sound nice...
So here you are now. out drinking with Jake and celebrating your promotion. Perhaps you had a little too much to drink... and so here you were, leaning your body weight against Jake for support as he led you to your apartment. His surprisingly strong arms propped you up as you wobbled into your apartment.
"Jake~ thabk Yoy" a slurred 'thank you' slipped its way out of your mouth. He sighed before carrying you inside.
Asch witnessed the entire scene unfold before his eyes: you being a bumbling mess, in the arms of another man. It made Asch's blood boil. Finally, when Jake left, Asch revealed himself to you.
"Oh~ hi handsome man~" in your drunken state, you extended a hand towards Asch's horns. "Wow~ what are these?" The prince's breath hitched as unfamiliar sensations spread throughout his body. He quickly grabbed your hand, removing it from his horns.
"Y/n, hold still." Asch put two fingers between your forehead. Magic began to flow through his hand as you felt the alcohol leave your body. It was a trick that the daemos prince had picked up from Rahl when he'd drink himself out . "Now tell me, prisoner, why were you with that man?"
"It's a human thing to gather with your friends..." you shrugged it off as the grip on your hand tightened.
"I don't like it when you 'hang' with other men, Y/n" the prince spoke up.
"And why would you care?" You scoffed at him.
After a moment of silence, Asch took your chin in his hand and leaned in. "What if I said I liked you?"
"Hah," you flushed. "Prove it." You dared him.
You found yourself pushed up against the wall. Face-to-face with the daemos prince, his hand grazing your outer thighs, he whispered in your ear: "as you wish, princess..." as his lips connected with yours.

Leif x Reader | Savior
Synopsis: Leif has another nightmare about his past. It's up to you to comfort him.
Word count: 640
—————
It was quiet in the apartment. The clock was ticking, and the bustling city continued to illuminate the skyline while you worked tirelessly on your Physics 101 assignment. You let out a yawn and checked your phone.
2:38 AM
Ouch, College was tougher than you had anticipated, especially physics... you heaved a sigh and left your room and headed to the kitchen. It couldn't hurt to make yourself another cup of coffee, right? There'd be another 4 hours before you would finish studying for your exams. Or maybe you should call it a night? Perhaps against your better judgement, you decided to turn the Keurig machine on and brewed a fresh latté. The aroma wafted through the kitchen as your eyes scanned the living room. You stopped at the red marker by where the Daemos resided.
"Not good! Not good!" A voice called out through the room. It was enough to draw your focus away from the physics textbook you were reading. Noi rushed out of the wall in a panic. Tears threatened to spill down his cheeks as he ran to you. His hands clutched yours. "_____(Name), please help us!" Noi choked through his tears. "It's Leif! We can't wake him!"
You coughed out your coffee in surprise. "What!?" Your eyes grew in shock as you jumped out of the chair. Noi led you through the wall and around different hallways before finally stopping in front of an open door.
The others were gathered around the bed as you heard whimpering coming from the center of the room. You rushed into there faster than the wind could carry you. "WHAT HAPPENED!?" You shouted before pushing Rhys out of the way. You took a mental note to apologize to him.
"D-don't leave... please...." Leif groaned. A nightmare... you took a deep breath before sitting down on the bedside. You remembered what your mother would do in this situation. She'd pat your head and embrace you in her arms and tell you everything's ok. She even did that for you last week when you failed your Chemistry exam.
You turned to the others. "I'll take care of him, please get some rest." You ordered them to leave so you could find a way to comfort the daemos in bed.
"Shh...." you began. "Leif, if you can hear me... I'm here for you, so please wake up and I can help you...." you softly cooed while stroking his hair. The tears flowing down his cheeks came for a stop as Leif's breathing calmed down.
It wasn't long before his eyes shot open. Leif has finally awakened from his nightmare. "Good morning, Princess," you smiled at him before turning serious. "Are you ok?" Leif shook his head before casting a glance to the floor.
"I had a nightmare..." You were well aware. "I felt so... alone..."
"Do you wanna talk about it?" You helped him sit up and shot him a look of concern. He heaved a sigh.
"When I was younger... I was abandoned... I was left to rot... I'm all alone in this world..." his voice cracked as he choked back remaining tears. You ran your hand up and down his back.
"Shh... it's ok, I'm here now. I'll listen to any concerns, any woes..."
"Then promise me... promise me you'll never leave me behind..." he shook. You pulled him into a tight embrace.
"I promise... neither will your partners leave you... we all love you..." Leif's tears continued to stream down his face as he rested his head in the crook of your neck. His hands wrapped around your figure. He was truly grateful for you: his guardian angel, his savior.... you gave him the strength to continue in this world.

Asch x Reader (pt.2) —smut | Sanctuary
Synopsis: You meant the world to him... all he thought about was you.... Perhaps the two of you were meant to meet again.
Word count: 1724
Genre: Smut
NOTE: this is part 2 of my first Asch x Reader. You can find part one on my master list in my bio. :))
———
5 years. It's been 5 years since your disappearance, since you vanished from Asch's life. The light of his life, gone in a snap. Gone forever...
Or so he thought. Little did you know that the two of you would meet again on Earth...
What seemed like an ordinary day for you turned into a head spinning mess that one fateful day. Who would have thought that such a menial task as taking out the trash could reunite the daemos prince with the love of his life. Like any good citizen would, you took the prince and his knights under your wing so they could at least try to function as regular humans.
Today was similar, it seemed like an ordinary day for the daemos prince as he studied your movements as you meandered through the hall to the bookshelf. You just came back from a relatively quiet day at the Bank. Nothing much happened. Clients came in and out, making deposits, and taking out loans. It truly was as bore. Thankfully, you had a companion with you: Harry Potter, the novel you currently finished. Book in hand, you put back the fifth book in the Harry Potter series. It didn't go as planned, as the bookshelf toppled over. You braced yourself for the impact, but it never came.
The feeling was odd, the way Asch looked at you. His eyes searched your expression in earnest, desperate for an answer of some sorts. Something about you made him go crazy. It was the same feeling that a certain daemos gave him...Something inside of his mind clicked. It had to be them... Something inside him thought — nay, he knew — it was the same (y/n) (l/n) that vanished from his life all those years ago. The same daemos who stole his Highness's heart and broke it within the same moon. The love of his life.
"(Y/n)?" He spoke as you turned around "did you ever find your purpose?" He finally found out.
"So you finally figured it out, your highness?" You caressed his face with a smile.
Tears filled his vision as the realization hit him. It was you... and for the first time in years, he could physically touch you, feel you in his own grasp... you were in fact real. The prince immediately embraced you. He held you tight, as if you were an apparition that could disappear any second. Your captor's arms snaked around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
His lips met yours, sending shivers down your spine. Your breathing deepened. His hand traveled from your waist to your already-loose tie, tugging it off. Your captor's lips lightly grazed your collar bones, causing a yelp to escape from your mouth. Asch seemed to notice, taking the opportunity to nip your skin. I hope that's not... He left a hickey. His lips traveled back to your neck, leaving a burning trail of passion behind them. Asch searched your neck, looking for the perfect spot. After all, you were the canvas, and he was the painter. You froze as he bit in, sending a burning sensation throughout your body... Asch's touch held you prisoner in his grasp.
He suddenly stopped, as he pulled you into the wall and into his opulent bedroom. Your back made contact with the wall again, and began to trail down your neck, down to the collarbone, and lower...
You gasped for air as the prince nipped away at your flesh. He left a mark, a message to everyone in this world: you belonged to him. You were his, and he was yours, together you would rule Daemos — when the time came, of course — and Earth along with it. His voice Moaned your name as you tangled your fingers into his hair.
He stopped. " (y/n), I want to hold you close to me, to see myself reflected in your eyes." Asch removed a hand from your waist. You felt his cool fingers ever-so-slightly graze your cheek. It was shocking to you, how cold his hand was; the coldness caused a jolt of electricity to run down your spine. "I want to hold you as if tomorrow I'd be far away..." Asch lingered. "Far away from you..."
Asch was getting impatient, he wanted all of you, and he wanted it now. Breaking the contact with your skin, the daemos began to strip off your clothes. He wasted no time either, as one hand firmly grabbed hold of your shirt, slowly unbuttoning it. His other hand trailed up your outer thigh, snaking it's way towards your undergarments. He gently caressed your thighs. As soon as you were free from the restraints of your button-down, he pushed you down onto the plush bed.
He started removing your undergarments. First your bra, letting your chest free. "Your source of power has been removed, Princess... you're powerless against me..." you couldn't help but giggle at his authoritative voice.
"Then take me, my prince..." you ran a hand down his cheek as you beamed with happiness.
"With pleasure." Asch obliged, sliding the skirt of your uniform down and pushing your lingerie to the side, revealing your delicate folds.
"Oh..." you yelped as his finger slipped inside your entrance. Asch's pace as slow, painfully slow... He inserted another finger, and then a third, eventually speeding up. "Ah!" You shrieked in pleasure, arching your back. The Prince went in deeper with a rhythmic pace. In and out, in and out... the feeling was euphoric and you wanted more. "Asch..." you moaned. "Please, I need you..."
"Hmm?" Asch mused, slowing down his fingers. The feeling was torture... you grind your hips against him, hoping for some kind of relief.
"Please... I need your..." you looked at him earnestly. "Please..." you begged.
"As you wish..." He slid his trousers down, exposing his length to you. You looked away in embarrassment. Asch leaned in closer, caressing your cheek before planting a kiss.
The prince slid his member into your folds. You moaned in pleasure as his length filled your body. The feeling was intoxicating... both of you wanted more... Asch began to buck his hips, slowly at first. You ran your fingers down his horns in return, earning a moan from Asch as his movements became sloppier. It wasn't long before he began pumping into you fully. His hands roamed the rest of your body, exploring every crack and crevice. From this night on, you were his, and his alone... you were his princess, and he was your prince...
You clawed at his back, pulling him closer towards your body while wrapping your legs around his waist. Pleasure spread throughout your body as you connected with Asch. The prince knew that he loves you, and that you love him. You found sanctuary in his body.
How long has it been since the two of you started? The clock was out of your vision. What time was it? You didn't know, nor did you care. As long as you were with Asch, nothing else mattered but him.
A tightening feeling built up within the pit of your stomach. You were close, and the daemos prince seemed to know. A smirk formed on his face as he began to slow his pace, eventually stopping altogether. The feeling of his throbbing length was torture. You wanted to release, but it seemed that he had other plans. Asch removed himself from your entrance and reached for your uniform's tie. You stared at him for a few seconds before his hands flipped you around onto all-fours. "Ah!" You gasped , as your vision was blocked by the feeling of silk being wrapped around your head.
The warmth of Asch's breath filled your ear as he said "Shall we stop here, Princess? Would you like me to refrain?" You couldn't believe it, the daemos prince asked for consent? You thought that his hot-headed nature would persist, even in the bedroom.
You simply nodded your head, begging for his body, crying out a faint "pleasure me." And again, Asch obliged. The feeling of his length entering from behind you sent a jolt of pleasure through your body. His pace was slow and rhythmic, just like before. The pressure in your stomach began to build up again, causing you to scream Asch's name. The feeling of his hands suddenly became more prominent. You felt one of them tracing the side of your figure, eventually making its way to your delicate buds. The other was on your hips, steadying his motions as he pumped in and out of you. A wave of pleasure surged through your body as you felt his large hand caress your chest before he pinched your buds.
"Ah!" You screamed. "Please, give me more!" You said in between moans. You feel him pump harder into you, threatening release. And it soon came as warmth filled inside you. Asch's length throbbed inside of you as you felt his fluids overflowing. You felt the trails of liquid spill out of your entrance, dripping down your thighs.
The two of you stilled for a few moments as the prince slipped his length out of your delicate folds. Your huffed for air as you felt Asch's presence shift from behind to your left side. "I love you so much... please don't ever leave my side...." The prince's earnest voice laced your ears as you pushed yourself onto your knees to face him.
You felt his hand run down your cheek. The blindfold was soon removed, as Asch's face filled your vision as he removed his hand from your cheek. He embraced you as he pulled the covers over your bodies. You stared lovingly into his eyes before cracking a smile as a wave of tiredness washed over you.
"I promise...." you whispered.
"After all this time..." he started. "I've loved you for the longest time..." the words entered your ears as you drifted off to sleep.

Noi x Reader (a lil bit of x Pierce) | Chasing Hope
synopsis: Noi: the daemos of your dreams... he was never meant to be yours... and you knew that.
Word count: 846
Genre: Slow Burn Angst
———
Noi was, simply put, adorable. His laugh radiated an energy that comforted you. His smile lit up the room... It was evident that this wasn't just a crush anymore. There was something more to your feelings towards Noi. It wasn't exactly love, nor could it be considered infatuation. Something about it just felt so right. But his eyes weren't on you; no. They were on Ava.
You had to admit, it hurt you to see them together. But it was fine, your friendship with Ava meant more to you than your feelings for Noi. But how long could that last? Seeing the two of them together slowly chipped away at your resistance.
It was an ordinary saturday evening. Your friends had dragged you out of seclusion, they had noticed that you were silent recently and wanted to cheer you up. The day started out great, you and your friends went crazy at your favorite stores and filmed each other clowning around. But you couldn't help but pay mind to a certain thought lingering within your consciousness. Every time you passed an advertisement selling a product of sorts, you couldn't help but reminded of him.
It was a battle between your brain and your heart. Something within you still clung to the last sting of hope that maybe, just maybe someone like you could end up with the daemos that you had fallen for. Yet, you knew that Noi's heart was in Ava's hands. This was out of your control. You had to move on now.
There was no denying the chemistry between Ava and Noi, and it hurt you deeply. You had always been there for the daemos, from when he burned his hand on the heat box, to when he caught his horns on a bush -- you still couldn't figure out how the hell he ended up in that situation.
But there was something in his eyes that sparked when he set eyes on your roommate. It was love. He fell in love...
"Cheers!" One of your friends raised a glass. Her words brought you back to reality. You looked around the brightly lit restaurant as your friends joined in on the toast. "To a wonderful and prosperous life!" Your friend continued as you hesitantly raised your champagne flute.
"A Toast!" You chanted before downing the entire glass. At that moment, you heard a familiar laugh: Ava. You whipped your head toward the source of the laughter. You felt your heart break. They looked so... happy... you could never gather up your courage and tell him your feelings... maybe... just maybe... if you told him about your feelings sooner, he could have been yours..
You promised yourself that you wouldn't cry. There was no need to, it was a silly crush, after all. Or so you thought... normally, you wouldn't be bothered by the sight of Ava and Noi together, but today was different. The reality set in, you would never have him... it wasn't meant to be.
After all, Ava was the protagonist of this narrative. You were only the sidekick, the disposable one...
You hated the feeling...
You arrived home. As soon as you passed the threshold, something inside you collapsed, you couldn't take it anymore, you broke down. Tears welled in your eyes, threatening to spill down your cheeks. You had to cry, let it out. But not in here, you didn't need anyone witnessing your mental breakdown. without thinking you did something foolish: you ran into the daemos' common room and proceeded into the many hallways. The sound of your heels clanking against the floor echoed throughout until you found a place to sulk in.
You backed against the wall and slid down, hugging your knees to your chest. The tears began to fall.
You heard footsteps. They were faint at first, but they eventually echoed louder and louder. You looked up to come face-to-face with none other than the blue-horned daemos: Pierce.
His expression was one of shock and confusion as you made eye-contact with him. His face softened as he sat next to you. Pierce didn't question you, he simply brought a hand up to your head, gently patting your hair as the tears rolled down your cheeks. He knew why you were crying... his observant nature and intuition meant that he was often right about things; this was no exception.
"Shh..." he pulled you into his chest. You felt his warm arms wrap around your figure. His strong grip held you tight in his grasp as you cried your heart out.
"I'm... sorry..." you hiccuped. Pierce said nothing, he only embraced you tighter. He wanted to let you know that you were loved... albeit, not romantic love, but platonic love.... (or perhaps that's what you thought). Whatever it was, you felt it: he cared for you. And that's all you needed right now: a someone to hold you as you wallowed in your sorrows...

Leif x Reader | Cat & Mouse
Synopsis/ Author's note: (The reader is basically Ava in this oneshot) Perhaps taking in a cohort of daemos isn't what you expected to be doing this weekend, but you learned to live with it. That is, until a certain daemos decides to play a game of cat and mouse with you... (Consent is important, kids)
Word count: 1629
Leif was a daemos of many desires, and he knew exactly what he wanted: you. Put it simply, he was a casanova -- a womanizer. One look into his deep-set pools of aquamarine and girls would be putty in his hands. But not you. Something about you was different, something indescribable. You were not impressed by his many charms -- you had priorities. The grinding gears of life were constantly turning, after all, the gears spare no one.
You had him mesmerized. Leif fell for everything about you: your face, your body, and your aura, he wanted it all. Of course, Leif didn't mean to fall under your spell, there was just something so captivating about you, something that even he couldn't quite pinpoint. But you never seemed to notice, or even care. Your attention was shared among the daemos cohort, after all.
Today was no different, your attention was focused on a daemos, but not Leif. You were, yet again, arguing with Rhys about a minuscule matter. Apparently one box of ice cream wasn't enough to please this intellectual.
"Rhys, you can't have so much ice cream in one day! Literally no one on the face of this earth can tolerate that much sugar!" You clapped your hands, emphasizing your point while charging at him. Rhys bolted out of the kitchen, ice cream box in hand.
"Sorceress, you're forgetting that I'm not from earth!" The ice-cream-high daemos yelled back, picking up his pace. You cringed, thinking of how naïve Rhys sounded.
"RHYS THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!" You cornered him. "Now, hand over the ice cream." You extended your hand impatiently. But, oh no, he was NOT going down without a fight. Before you knew it, you were face-to-face with him. His hands were high in the air, dangling the box. And damn was he tall. Even on your tippy-toes, you were just a few inches shy of his reach. You groaned in annoyance.
A wicked idea flew into your head. From previous experience, you knew a daemos's weakness: their horns. "Fine, then we'll have to do this the hard way..." your hand ever-so-slightly grazed the intellectual's left horn, causing him to flinch as a reflex, while simultaneously dropping the ice cream box. Feigning your innocence, you reached into your pocket to pull out a bright crimson-colored Crayola pen. Your plan? Draw on the box and trick Rhys into thinking that it was a seal. "I'll do it, Rhys. I'll seal the box! If I do, whoever opens it without permission dies...." you flashed him a glare. Needless to say, he was horrified. He begged for your mercy, and you gave your mercy to him.
Leif noticed Rhys's proximity to you. That daemos was too close to you for Leif's comfort. Perhaps after this, he could strike up a conversation with you. He wanted your attention that he was so deprived of. He knew he had to get it somehow...
Much to Leif's chagrin, he wasn't able to. An incoherent "A-HA" and "I'VE FOUND IT!" Bellowed throughout the apartment. You cringed again. From the sound of it, Asch was rummaging through your room again. Yet another groan of annoyance escaped your mouth as you bolted towards the noise. Your suspicions were correct: Asch was in your room, sifting throug— your underwear draw? Fuc- not this bulls- OH MY GOSH!!! Asch charged a fireball at the pile of lingerie on the floor. You had already spent a fortune on bras, as the daemos prince was so adamant on 'destroying your source of power'.
"ASCH! PUT MY BRAS DOWN! I NEED THEM!!!" You bolted behind him pulled him into an embrace, effectively stopping him from burning your undergarments. There was no physical barrier between the two of you... only the cloth of his cape kept you away from the curve of his back. And damn, was he muscular. An awkward silence instilled between the two of you. You feared that if you let him go, another batch of your undergarments would fall victim to Asch's fiery wrath. Perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to pull him into an embrace... "The more you destroy, the more power sources will regenerate, your highness..." You let the prince go as he turned around to meet you in the eyes.
"WHO is the prisoner again?" Asch averted his eyes, unable to maintain his gaze on you. You scoffed.
"Mhm, and WHO is the powerful sorceress?" You shot back at him. His highness was unable to answer. He simply left your room without a word.
You were alone, this was the opening that Leif had been looking for: the opportunity to steal you away from the others, to have you for himself... or, so he thought...
The sound of Noi's blood-curdling screams took you off-guard.
"WHAT NOW?!" You wanted to pull your hair out.
You found The magicless daemos in the kitchen, curled up into a ball while holding his fingers with tears streaming down his cheeks. You looked to his left, where you found the oven open and turned to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. It took you a matter of seconds to connect the dots: Noi had fu-- messed with the oven.
"Noi, what happened?!" You kneeled next to his head as he looked at you through his tears, mumbling something about the 'heat box'. He wasn't speaking words, all he did was cry.
You huffed, gently rubbing an ice cube on Noi's burn. "Shhh..." you comforted him. "You'll be fine, Noi, trust me..." A small smile spread across his face, thanking you for your hospitality.
Today was a long day, from your ice cream stash being raided, to yet another set of your underwear being destroyed, you just couldn't seem to catch a break. You sighed to yourself as you looked out the window of your apartment. The others had gone to bed by this time. It was yet another sleepless night, you mused at what you could do tonight to ease your racing thoughts. Wrapping your blanket around your body, you found yourself wandering into the kitchen. Alone you sat, in the empty room, book in hand, immersing yourself into the wizarding world of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
It wasn't long before you felt the presence of someone next to you. The sound of a ceramic mug being placed next to you brought you out of your imagination. You looked to hot right: Pierce was sat next to you with a mug of hot tea in his hand. He pushed it towards you with a reassuring smile. You returned his smile and set down your book.
"Hello," you waved at him. The daemos returned with a smile. "Thank you Pierce..."
"You're welcome," he pat your head, causing your cheeks to glow a deep shade of red. There was something about him that made you feel at ease, you felt vulnerable around him...
The two of you exchanged words for what felt like hours. You failed to notice him though... Leif was furious! He should have just stolen you for himself when he had the chance. He wanted you, and he always got what he wanted. This wasn't just passion, it was something else, something more invigorating. All he knew was that he wanted you, mind, body, and soul. Leif wanted nothing more than to steal you away, to hold you in his arms and mark you as his own... and he would soon get his chance.
It had been a rather uneventful Monday, the rest of the daemos were in their own rooms while you stayed in your own. Until a certain someone came into your room unannounced.
Your back was pressed against the wall. Leif was face-to-face with you, embracing your figure in his arms. "Darling..." he cooed, ever-so-slightly brushing his lips against yours. It was as if he was under some sort of spell.... you felt his lips lock into yours as he deepened the kiss. It was then when inside you snapped: the voice of reason. This wasn't what you wanted, and he knew it. With all the strength you could muster, the face of your palms met with his cheeks, sending a loud echo into the air. You were fuming; you opened your mouth to speak.
"I don't know how it is in your world, but that is NOT how you treat a sorceress!" You scolded him. "You don't simply waltz your way into a girl's room and steal a kiss without consent!!!" You stormed into the kitchen, fuming in indignation.
For the first time in his life, Leif felt horrible... He wanted you, but not like this... not if you were unhappy with him.
Days passed. An awkward silence had instilled between the two of you. He had to apologize. He wanted to fix things...
It was late, and sleepless night for you again. You lied in your bed, staring at the empty could of a ceiling before a knock interrupted your thoughts. "(Y/n)?" A voice called out. It was Leif.
"Come in?" You returned. And in Leif came, vulnerable... another awkward silence instilled.
"I was an idiot for what happened... I'm sorry. I want to set things right" He kneeled, looking down. He looked genuinely apologetic.
Something in your heart told you that perhaps he was truly sorry. You sighed. "Fine... you can start by asking for consent before kissing me," you remarked sarcastically. Leif was in tears, pulling you into an embrace.
"Kiss me, you fool." You said. And Leif obliged, locking your lips with his, in a deep and emotional kiss... For once in this game of Cat and Mouse, the mouse was in total control...

Asch x Reader | Freedom
Synopsis/ Author's note: You were close with the prince of Daemos. In fact, he was in love with you. Key word: was. This is an angst fic that I was challenged to write. Having some writer's block and wanted to create a less than 500 word fic as an exercise. Requests are being worked on, FYI.
Word Count: 495
Asch, prince of Daemos & second in line for the throne, has never fallen in love before; And does not plan to do so any time soon. Everyone knew it, he cared too much for his kingdom to completely absorb himself into such selfish endeavours. That was before you  came into his life. There was something about you, something that Asch couldn't name; but somewhere deep down, somewhere inside his soul, he knew: you were the one.
The demon prince fell in love with you, and he fell hard. He felt vulnerable around you; his cold façade melted when you were with him. It was now clear: he wanted you, body and soul. To him, you were his everything...
It was a seemingly normal night for the demon prince. As he wandered the dimly lit halls of the castle, he spotted you, out on a balcony staring mindlessly into the distance. Something was on your mind... Asch stepped closer to you, his mind hazy from the sight of you. Your presence was intoxicating, you were his drug. Asch's thoughts were interrupted by your voice.
"Oh, Prince Asch! I assume that your meeting went well?" You smiled. The prince glanced down at his feet.
"Yeah..." He lied.
"Stop lying, I Know that the crisis is getting worse." You spat at him before turning back towards the balcony. There was tension in the air, both of you felt it. Perhaps to distract himself, he blurted out a question.
"What is love?" He wanted to slap himself for asking you something so stupid. His voice sent a jolt of electricity through you.
"Freedom..." You answered, turning to face Asch.
"Some of us might disagree with that."
"well, we'll just agree to disagree..." You shrugged before turning away towards your room.
"All right," He stared at your back. "Goodnight, (y/n)... I'll see you tomorrow." You stopped in your tracks. Your mind was racing, did you want to tell him? Perhaps you should foreshadow your plans?
"... I don't want to fly..." you stated, glancing back at Asch as you continued. "I want to soar. There's something more to my purpose in life, Asch, I just know it."
It was then when he realized what you meant. You were a free spirit, always looking for something more. The way you smiled, the way you moved, and the way you cared about the kingdom, Asch loved everything. He realized that you wanted to leave...
But he realized it too late. Asch raced like the wind to your room, adrenaline pumping through his veins. Perhaps if he was fast enough, he could still stop you. He wasted no time swinging your door open, but time had run out. You went out of his life as swiftly as you came into it. Your room was empty, and you were gone without a trace... gone with the wind...
He searched the room for any trace of you; but he only thing he found was a small parchment with the one word: 'Earth'...

It had to be him.
You HAD TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE DEMOS WITH ANGER ISSUES HUH? Good going (Y/N).
You had tacken in the boys 3 months ago. And while you cared for them they were still a huge pain in the A S S. Especially Asch the hot headed prince, hes been the biggest pain since you moved in and you've had to spend a FORTUNE on bras since he was bent on destroying your 'source of power' and you would be DAMMED if you were gonna explain bras real use to a full grown man. Lately....your feelings toward him seemed to have... changed? Your face hearts up, your heartbeat accelerates, and you feel almost...anxious? It was frustrating considering hes nearly assassinated you in your sleep and melted your door knob. Yet here you were giving him special treatment out of the demos. You told the others it was because his attitude had improved the past few weeks. And it had sure he was more complient even if he did still complain at least it got done. But you cant say you'd feel the same if it was Leif instead of Asch. So here you were at your local bar and grill with your favored fiery boy.
"So what are you getting Asch?" You hum looking over to catch him starinf at you intently grey orbs smoldering intensely. You felt your face heat up at his intense gaze "w-what? Is there something on my face?" You ask frowning. His eyes widen at being caught and he scowls "nothing but that stupid expression" he grumbles burying his face in the menu to hide the growing flush. "Ok rude sir" you scoff and then it was awkward silence.....god honestly you preferred it when he was yelling about you being his prisoner. You were stuck reliving your past memories when a hand clamped down on your shoulder. "H-huh??" You gasp looking over to see a strange man smiling down at you. "Hey pretty lady whata you doin here?" He coos sickeningly sweet. Disgust fills you when the reek ing smell of alchol on his breath hit you "look dude could you no-". You didnt even get the chance to finish your sentence before Asch had him pinned to the table, holding the strangers wrists in one hand and slamming his torso into the table. Aschs other hand layed on the now smoking table. "Dont touch whats mine or next time ill burn you alive" The demos snapped the man beneath him whimpers. "Asch! You cant just threaten people like that!" You scold getting out of your booth to pry the ravenettes hand away allowing the man to scurry away in fear. You were to busy scolding him to take in the fact that you still had a hold of his hand. But he was ALL to aware, thats how he had been the past few weeks all to aware of YOU and it aggravated the HELL out of him. But not as much as seeing that FILTH put his hands on you, you were HIS! His human, his prisoner, his QUEEN! Well....the last part wasnt exactly a official but it might as well have been! He wasnt even listening to your rambling, he didnt regret a second of what he did. He had learned that if he just looked at you and nodded everyonce in a while he could get away with what ever he did. So he took this time to examine your face, the way your (H/C) locks framed your face, your serious (E/C) orbs, and god....did your lips always look so soft and plush? He was stuck staring at them with a intense gaze that caused you to falter "A-asch are you even listening?? Th-this is serious!" You insit pouting slightly cheeks flushed bottom lip pushed out. Little did you know that pushed Asch to the edge of his already very very slim self control. But you found out when you were caged in his arms against the table leaning back as his face was close enough that his nose brushed yours. "A-asch what in the world do you th-think your!" You stammer only to be cut off as he roughly pushes his lips to yours one hand moving to cradle the back of your neck to keep you where he wanted you pulling away to kiss the cornee of your mouth and growl out a light "shut up sorceress"
Yup you fell in love with the fiery demos but...in the end thats who you were happy with, and even if the little tsundere wouldnt admit it. You made him happy to.
And thats all that matters

I Need You More Than Coffee (Rhys x Reader)
AN- Smut! Also this is my first time writing Rhys :3
---
(Y/n) turned over, squeezing her eyes shut and trying to get back to sleep, even though she knew it was a hopeless cause. As soon as sunlight shone through the window, she was up. She looked at her sleeping boyfriend in envy. The drooling boy could sleep through just about anything.
With a sigh, she hauled herself out of bed. If she was going to keep waking up when the sun rose, she would definitely need some coffee. She leaned over and shook her boyfriend's shoulder. "Rhys, do you want some coffee?"
Rhys furrowed his eyebrows and sleepily grabbed for her hand. "Nooo, it's too early."
"Get up, you big baby." (Y/n) laughed.
He responded by taking the blanket and covering his head, making her grin. She rolled her eyes and sat back down on the bed and grabbing the edge of the blanket. She lifted it up and looked at him seriously. "If you get up right now we can have some fun after I make coffee."
Well, that was enough to get him worked up. "I don't want to wait for coffee. I wanna have fun now!"
(Y/n) scoffed and smiled at him. "Fine. Don't expect me to be too rough this early, though."
"Of course not, sweetie." He grinned before connecting his lips with hers.
As they kissed, she moved her hand to his covered length. He was already hard. She began rubbing him slowly, causing him to groan into the kiss. Gosh, she loved his reactions.
After a moment, (Y/n) pulled away from the kiss, leaving Rhys with a confused look. "You know, I really should go start on that coffee."
She attempted to get up, only to have him pounce on her, pinning her down by her wrists. "Oh no you don't. I think I need you more than coffee."
"Yeah? Show me."
Rhys released her wrists and trailed his hands down her sides and to her waist. He slid off her pajama pants and underwear, discarding them to the floor. He laughed shyly before looking up at her. "Would you get your shirt for me? I'm kinda busy right now."
(Y/n) laughed and pulled off her shirt, throwing it with the rest of her clothes. She looked down at Rhys, who was planting soft kissed on her stomach and hips. After a moment, she spoke up. "Are you gonna get to work or not, Rhysie?"
"Oh," he stammered. "Right. Yeah. I was getting to that. You're just... So beautiful."
"Yeah, yeah, you can compliment me after I have an orgasm."
Instead of replying, he put his hands between her thighs and spread them apart. He looked up at her once more, waiting for her to nod to him, before he went down on her. It felt like pure bliss. He may not have been the most dominant man, but he was certainly very talented with his mouth.
(Y/n) gasped and her hands flew to his hair, pulling him closer. He took this as a sign to apply more pressure, and was pleased to hear her moans of agreement. She knew she wouldn't last long if he kept going like he was. It only took another minute or so before she met her high, moaning and gripping onto his hair so tightly that it hurt.
Rhys came up, then rested his head on her stomach. "Could you be any more perfect?"
"The only reason I'm perfect," she panted, trying to gain her composure. "Is because I'm with you. Now get up here."
He did as told and crawled up beside her. He watched in amusement as she scrambled to pull down his pajama pants and tug his t-shirt off. "Eager aren't you?"
"Shut up." She mumbled before crashing her lips onto his. She took his hand and guided it to her clit. Once he started touching her, she took his member in her hand and began pumping slowly.
She pulled away from the kiss and rested her forehead on his shoulder, giving him access to her neck. He bit down on her sweet spot, gently but still enough to make a mark, then kissed it. He did this a few times before she gripped onto his arm. He smiled and started rubbing her faster, soon sending her over the edge.
When (Y/n) was finished, he gently pushed her back onto the bed. "You ready?"
She nodded and gasped as Rhys entered her. "You're good."
With that, he started moving at a slow and gentle pace. This was absolute heaven to him, listening to the sound of her breathing hard and moaning and giving her all the love he could.
He went at it for a while until (Y/n) spoke up. "Hold on."
Rhys got off from on top of her, confused, but grinned when she started peppering kisses from his jawline to his happy trail. She looked up at him and stuck her tongue out at him before taking him in her mouth. He let out a loud moan as she bobbed her head up and down, her tongue working in circles around him. He gripped onto the sheets when she moaned, sending vibrations throughout his whole body.
"(Y/n), I'm gonna-"
He couldn't even finish his sentence. (Y/N) quickly sped up her pace to the point where he thought it was inhuman. Finally, with a loud moan, he released in her mouth. She pulled herself off of him before leaning over the bed and spitting into their little bedside garbage bin.
"Can I just say," Rhys breathed out, his cheeks flushed red as she laid down beside him. "That you are extremely good at giving head."
"Thanks, Rhys." She smiled before kissing his cheek. "Now I should really go make that coffee."
"Who needs coffee when I have you?"

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH OMG
Did someone say Minecraft Diaries??? Hi, can I have some Garroth comforting his s/o who's having a mental breakdown? Thank you!
You dropped your sword and abandoned your post.
“I’ll be back,” you choked out to your fellow guard, scrambling down the ladder and ignoring Garroth’s calls after you. You couldn’t give a coherent answer at the moment.
You’d thought you would be able to hold out until your watch was over, thanks to the helmet concealing your face, but the thoughts swirling around your head had proven too much. Garroth would cover for you while you were away. Right now, the need to drop your mask and find somewhere to cry and brood rose above all else.
The village mines. It was the emptiest place in the whole of crowded Pheonix Drop. A few passing civilians sent you startled glances as you burst out of the watchtower and marched through the cobblestone streets. They were ignored. You balled your hands into fists, putting on a burst of speed when the mines came into view and outright sprinting as soon as you stepped inside and out of view.
You let your legs carry you away from the handful of miners working near the entrance, following trails of torches deeper and deeper underground. Finally, you reached a dead end. Your armor clanked as you sat heavily down upon a block of raw stone and removed your helmet. Then came the gauntlets so you could wipe harshly at your bleary eyes.
The tears came, and it was a relief after holding them in for so long.
Garroth found you when you’d nearly cried yourself out. You blinked at him, fresh tears bubbling up despite your wishes.
“Hi,” you croaked.
“Hi,” he replied softly.
He set his helmet, sword and shield against the wall. Then he came next to you and wrapped his arms around you, burying his nose in your hair. “Take as much time as you need.”
Head rested against his shoulder, you closed your eyes.
“Dale’s drunk in the market square again. I passed him on the way here. Old fool’s stuck in the well.”
“Oh?” Just like old times. The thought brought a twitch of a smile to your lips, but you winced at the gravelly sound of your voice.
“Yes. Molly was putting up dirt walls around it, actually, to block him in. We made dead eye contact and I decided to let it slide.”
You mustered a weak laugh that was more of an exhale, but your smile against Garroth’s neck was bright.
“A little bit of chaos does this place good, I think,” Garroth mused. “It’s not as though we have any important visitors scheduled for arrival.”
You let the sound of his voice and the relative normalcy of his words sooth you. “Keep talking.”
So he did.
“Do you remember that old vendor that came by? Would trade dirt for exploding ice cream creepers? Aphmau’s been trying to get him back, but he’s up and vanished…”

Rhys x Reader (My Inner Demons)
Synopsis: You are a university student who is majoring in Computer Science. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of renting a dorm, you become roommates with Ava. You're pretty content with your life... until a handsome demon named Rhys sweeps you off your feet.
Word count: 2760
The college life was not at all like you expected it to be. That glamorous illusion of nightlife and party life was shattered as soon as you arrived to your first class. Sure, you've been to fraternity and sorority parties here and there, but that was only on the rare occasions that you had no assignments to worry about. Your time was quickly dictated by the immense amounts of homework and projects your professors assigned you.
You heaved a sigh, scanning your Introduction to Computer Science; Volume 7 textbook. It would be yet another all-nighter for you. Cans of Red Bull were sprawled out throughout the kitchen table and floor. Your professor decided to give you yet another ten page homework assignment. Good grief, how does the professor have time to grade all these papers? you thought to yourself. A yawn escaped your mouth as you peered at your computer's clock. Oh boy, 3am! Sarcasm dripped from your remark as you typed a stream of code into your program. You were almost done, just another page to go and you would be free from the clutches of the monster-sized homework assignment.
It was hard enough that your professors expected their students to have no social life, but you also had to deal with a handful of quite lovely demons. The sarcasm was strong -- perhaps you should have majored in sarcasm instead of Computer Science. Of course, some of the demons were less trouble than others. Pierce, for instance, never caused trouble. He wasn't a demon of many words and you often welcomed his company whenever you studied for exams. Asch and Leif were another story. Oh boy, did they make you want to tear your hair out -- even more so than your professors. You didn't mind Noi's company, only when he wasn't crying over Johnny.
Rhys, on the other hand, was is different story. He, in many ways, was like your equal. His willingness to learn about both the material you were studying, and you as a person was a breath of fresh air compared to the cliquiness of the university students and the rest of the demons. Rhys was a good man -- er, demon.
4:25 am: you were finally done! You saved two copies of your papers and turned it in. A massive weight was lifted from your chest, and in a blaze of glory, you left your computer and books on the tables and crashed onto your bed.
The morning sun peeked through your curtains, shining directly onto your face. Bloody he-, you almost cursed, turning to face away from the windows. Today was a Saturday, one of your only two days off, and you were going to take advantage of this.
Just as you drifted back to sleep, a loud shriek echoed throughout the apartment. You groaned in agony, not on your day off! Fine, if the universe didn't want you to relax, might as well use this time to be productive. Lugging yourself off the warmth of the mattress, you made your way into the living room. And of course the demons just had to lounge in the living room. Just what you needed on your day off: a circus. It wasn't long before Ava bursted through the bathroom doors, fury burning in her eyes. Something inside you warned you not to ask about earlier.
"Listen up! If I'm going to be your prisoner, then we're gonna have to lay down some ground rules!" Ava turned to each of the demons. Asch was the first to respond.
"As a prisoner, you don't get to MAKE rules." He asserted, leaning into Ava's face. This was going to take a while...
The door rang. Ava turned to you. "(y/n), would you please get that?" You nodded, heading to  the door.
You came face-to-face with Mrs. Oats."O-oh! Mrs. Oats!" you greeted her.
"Oh (y/n), I've been so worried about you!" The elderly lady smiled.
"Thank you for your concern, Mrs. Oats! I'll be fine once finals season e-" Mrs. Oats cut you off.
"Oh, no, dear! I heard you screaming all weekend! I was especially worried when I heard you screaming for three hours straight!" You blinked in confusion, only to nod along to her story. "I almost forgot! Do you think you could bring this to your grandson for me? You always deliver things on time and I appreciate it so much." She held up a finely wrapped gift box, you laughed awkwardly in response.
"Sure, I can do that." You took the box from Mrs. Oats.
"Oh thank you, darling! Now, what were you screaming about last night?" She questioned you.
"Oh! you heard? I'm so sorry!" This was awkward. You knew that the professor's homework would often cause you to scream and pull your hair out, but you never knew that you were that loud... "My professors have been assigning a lot of work recently an-"
"(Y/n) look! I figured out how to put clothes on!" Rhys lifted his arms out to a t-pose position, motioning to the sleeves on his shirt. Pierce was not far behind him, with a perplexed look on his face.
"No one saw him do it and he won't tell us." Pierce remarked. As much as their company was appreciated, or tolerated, now was not the time. You did not want anyone to get the wrong idea. But Rhys continued/
"That's because it was a test from the sorceress and I passed again." A smug look washed over Rhys's face. Oh, you really wanted to smack them right now.
"Shoo! Not now!" Your brow instinctively furrowed in annoyance as they turned the corner, leaving your sight. You turned to face Mrs. Oats. "ahaha, yeah..." Something glistened in Mrs. Oats's eyes.
"Oooohhh, I see what's going on here," She winked at you. and of course, she got the wrong impression.
"N-no, really! It's just from my homewo-" Mrs. Oats winked at you again.
"ah, I was young once too. I'm glad to see you're in good hands!" She smiled.
"Prisoner!" You heard an authoritative voice behind you. "Get over here now!" Asch ordered. ohno.ohno.ohno.ohno. Thoughts  wurred in your head.
"I'm sorry, gotta go!!!" you slammed the door shut, only to hear 'I was wild once too, no shame if you've got game!' fading into the distance. "Bloody hell!" You ran into your shared bedroom. The last thing you needed was for your classmates to start thinking you were a nerdy girl with a wild side. All you wanted to do was to get your damned degree.
You returned to the living room; the first thing you witnessed was Ava hugging her knee in pain. Your attention was turned to a cat, one you've never seen before... Rhys was the first to break the silence, suggesting that the other demons learn how to put on their human clothes. You spoke next.
"Er, right... I have to put mine on. I have something for Jake..." You trailed off before returning to the bedroom as Ava followed you. You debated whether or not to tell Ava about Mrs. Oats before letting it all out. It needed to be said. Ava was sympathetic and patted your back while comforting you from your embarrassment, after all, Mrs. Oats had a tendency to... spread the word around to anyone who would listen. You heaved a sigh before getting dressed and heading out to the living room.
"All right guys, here's what's going to happen." Ava clapped her hands. "Rhys, you're going to come with (y/n) to deliver this present since you were the one to figure out human clothes the fastest." You stared at his figure, and wow, was he well dressed. Perhaps you never realized it, but his human clothes suit him well. They were classy enough for even the preppiest of college students, but also contoured his muscles beautifully.
The others let out low groans as you made eye contact with the brunette demon. You flashed him a small smile before you heard a subtle 'not fair' from Pierce. You couldn't help but giggle at  his jealousy.
"Don't worry, Pierce, I enjoy your company just as much as I enjoy Rhys's." You winked at him flirtatiously. When did you get this confident? Only the universe knows.
Before you knew it, you and Rhys were off into the city. You were eager to make the visit quick, you wanted to cherish the time you had with Rhys. "come on, Rhys, let's go before Mrs. Oats's grandson gets any ideas." You motioned to him to follow you. Rhys squinted for a second before asking for you to elaborate.
"Ideas? What do you mean?" You stopped in your tracks before turning to him, wondering how in the world you were going to explain what you were implying without making the conversation awkward. The clock was ticking, and you scrambled for an explanation before settling on changing the subject. To your luck, The Ice cream truck was right there, calling your name.
"ICE CREAM!!!" Your outburst came as a surprise to Rhys, who stood there on the sidewalk, watching you knock some kid over to order the goods. Oh boy, and were you out of breath, perhaps you were not in the best of shape, but you were too laser focused on the task at hand: order ice cream.
"Ah, (Y/n)," the truck keeper smiled, turning towards you. You slammed a ten dollar bill onto the table. "Can I get my usual please?" The man laughed as he turned to fetch your order. "actually make that two, I deserve it after those dang professors decided to torture me with--" you shuddered "-- math, ew..."
The clerk turned around with your ice cream. He took note of the male behind you before excitedly remarking: "oh, it's for a friend! Then it's on the house!" You blinked in confusion and turned around only to plant your face into Rhys's chest. Damn, he may not look it, but he's ripped! It was almost enough to distract you from the clerk's remark. Though mildly offending, you couldn't deny free ice cream. You thanked him before handing Rhys his ice cream.
"Come on, let's go eat." You motioned him to follow you again as you led him to an empty table-for-two in he park.
You never realized how graceful Rhys was. The way he carried himself was one of a dignified nature but there was something comforting about his aura. You felt as if you could let his guard down around him, to completely expose yourself to him. The two of you talked for what seemed like hours about human culture. Rhys nodded his head, taking in this new information. Every minute you spent with him felt like seconds...
Your eyes met Rhys's for a moment. He was squinting again; it was a quirk of his that you noticed. He would often do the same when you explained the concepts that he questioned when scanning the Computer Science textbooks. You couldn't help but giggle. Rhys looked up from his ice cream, shooting you a questioning look.
"Is something wrong?" He asked, tilting his head to the side -- another quirk that you noticed when he didn't understand something. It took you a moment to think of what to say.
"Sorry," your eyes soften, "I couldn't help it. I noticed that you squint a lot when you take in concepts." You could have stopped there, but before you could stop yourself, out came the words: "I think it's cute." Shi- I really just said that out loud huh? Oh well, might as well own it, right?
"Why, thank you, (y/n)." He flashed a smile. "There are still many things I still don't understand about humans and their culture..." Rhys continued. You smiled.
"Well then, I'd be happy to answer your questions.... But first: try the ice cream, it's melting." You pointed to his hand. Rhys took a bite out of his ice cream. His eyes lit up immediately.
"This is amazing!" Rhys's eyes widened before finishing the whole thing. To be frank, you were quite taken aback by how fast he finished. You finished yours soon after.
"Let's go, I want to make sure the others aren't giving Ava a hard time." Rhys stood up from his seat, offering you a hand up. Muttering a small "thank you", you took his hand and helped yourself up.
As the two of you were about to leave the park, an idea flew into your head. You wanted to spend more time with him, some alone time; you wanted to get to know him better. Perhaps out of nowhere, you had the urge to call out to him, to ask him to spend some time with you... you called out to him, "Rhys, let's take a detour..." you smiled up at him. "May I have your arm?" Rhys squinted again.
"Yes, but, why?" He cocked his head to the side in confusion as he offered you his arm. You simply winked and wrapped your arms around his. It was then you realized just how muscular he was. His toned arms held your own stuck-like arms stable against his. It was a comforting sensation, you felt safe in his arms...
Meanwhile, Rhys was realizing many things on his own as well.... Your touch sent a shiver down Rhys's spine. It was a rather odd sensation, one that he hasn't felt in a long time. He attempted to my no mind to the feeling, but something about this just felt right. The demon tried to logically access this situation, wondering what would have caused this feeling, and why.
"Where I'm taking you is a secret, one for me to know, and you to find out." you said, escorting him further into the park. It didn't take long to reach your destination: the fountain. Rhys looked at you in confusion as you detached yourself from his arm. "This is a fountain, I'm sure you've had something similar to this in Daemos..." you reached into your pocket for two quarters. "I wanted to teach you another lesson about human culture before we returned home." You cast him a somewhat bittersweet smile before placing the coin into the palm of his hand. "Now, I want you to think of a wish... something you want to come true..." Rhys closed his eyes and mused in silence before fluttering his eyelids open. "Did you make a wish?"
"I did," he replied. "What do I do now"?" He questioned you, staring at the silver quarter in his hand.
"Throw it into the water, like this..." you closed your eyes, focusing your thoughts on your desires. Perhaps you weren't happy with your major? Or perhaps you wanted a certain someone to come into your life? There were so many things to wish for. But for now, you focused on one wish and one alone.... you opened your eyes, giving your quarter a determined smile and tossed it into the base of the fountain. The silver coin skidded across for a few bounces before landing in a spot, creating a rather large, for a coin, ripple.
Rhys studied your actions before trying it on his own. He threw his coin into the water, creating a splash. He was still rather confused. You sensed this, and began: "Humans throw coins into wells or fountains and make a wish. Legends say that if you're lucky enough, your wish will come true." You tried your best to explain to him a rather childish concept. Thankfully, Rhys understood.
"What did you wish for?" Rhys asked, perhaps out of curiosity.
"That's for me to know and you to find out. Your wish won't come true if you tell it to others..." you quickly explained, offering him a lukewarm smile. Rhys's curiosity seemed to peek.
"Then will my wish ever come true?" You couldn't help but giggle. His questions were similar to those of a child's, and it was adorable.
"Someday... maybe all our wishes will come true...." You contemplated your wish before turning your attention back to the fountain. "We should go, Rhys."
"You're right, (y/n)," Rhys offered you his arm to escort you home. Heat rose to your cheeks as you gracefully accepted his arm.
You were unsure of what the future would hold, or where your friendship with Rhys would go, but one thing was for sure, you would cherish this memory.... this day off...

Pierce x Reader (My Inner Demons)
Synopsis: Crashing on Ava’s couch becomes even more exciting when a group of attractive demons show up. But one demon catches your attention more than the others… (You’re a Wizard).
Word Count: 2609
It was cold, deathly cold. The soothing tik tok sounds of your grandfather clock echoed throughout the room as you groped the darkness for your wand. Your fingertips finally made contact with your wand. “Luminare,” you chanted, prompting a ball of light to appear at the tip of your wand, illuminating the room. You left the warmth of your heated duvet and waddled your way to the thermostat, turning it up. Being a wizard can come in handy on Earth. You complimented yourself, lugging yourself back to your bed. Now came the waiting game, waiting for your room to heat up. But it never did….
You heaved a sigh, perhaps you should see Jake about the heating system in your lodge. For now, you had to go with plan B: Beg your friend Ava to let you crash on her sofa. Hesitantly, you dialed her number and placed the cellphone to your ears. The rhythmic beeping would have been enough to  lull you to sleep if it wasn’t for your dysfunctional heating system. Thankfully, Ava picked up your call.
“Hello?” Her strained voice came onto the line.
“Hi Ava, it’s (y/n),” you stopped for a second. “I need a favor… My heating system isn’t working, mind if I crash on your couch?” There was a pause on the line before Ava replied.
“Sure, not a problem! Just make sure to talk to Jake about your predicament in the morning.” She giggled a bit.
“Thank you, I’ll be right over.”
You soon found yourself at Ava’s doorstep, waiting for her to open up. She soon did, and greeted you with a smile and a handful of blankets. “Thank you so much, Ava, you’re a life-saver,” you smiled. Ava smiled back, leading you into her (very purple) living room.
“No problem,” she smiled. “I’m going back to bed, feel free to raid my kitchen if you’re hungry.” Ava yawned, leaving for her room.
You replied with a curt nod, and made yourself comfortable on the couch, drifting off to dreamland.
It would be noon before the sun would grace your eyes. You sluggishly got up from your makeshift bed and knocked on Ava’s door. There was no answer… you knocked again. Maybe she’s still asleep? You thought, opening a crack. Ava was nowhere to be seen. Johnny was happily bouncing on his owner’s bed as you made your way into Ava’s room.
“Johnny, do you know where Ava is?” You questioned the cat. He simply meowed and resumed jumping. Hmm… maybe I should call her? She’s normally not up until 1…
You tried calling her… no luck. The time ticked by, it was now 1:20 and still no sign of Ava. Strange… you were worried now. But before you could organize a search party, the sound of Ava’s front door opening caught your attention. That’s either Ava, or Jake. The former seems more likely. You thought to yourself.
“Ava! Is that you, gurl?” You called out while turning the corner. “OHMYGOSH” it took all your willpower not to scream. Ava was unconscious and in the arms of a (very handsome) stranger.
Your eyes momentarily met his, setting your cheeks on fire. Just his eyes alone set every part of you aflame. You took a few seconds to process what was going on. Not only was there one stranger, there were many, dressed in, what you assumed to be, demon costumes. They’re probably here for the convention… you thought. “WELL DON’T JUST STAND THERE, PUT HER ON THE COUCH!” You yelled anxiously. The group seemed taken aback by your tone. Thankfully, Ava was set down.
One of the strangers stormed up to you. “How DARE you speak to me like that! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?!” He yelled, charging a fireball in his fist. Your eyes widened in terror. Another magic user? They were hard to come by in this realm. You grabbed your wand from off the floor and chanted a fire disarming spell, efficiently quelling the flame.
“Your majesty, this human knows fire disarming magic! Are you all right?!” One of the (what you assumed to be) cosplayers spoke up. You looked directly at the stranger in front of you. Needless to say, he was furious yet intrigued. It would take a fool to not recognize the rage building up in those eyes. You readied your wand, ready to fire.
“That sorceress…” said the one who carried Ava. “How long until she wakes up?”
“Hmmm… I don’t know, depends on what happened to her.” You check her pulse and breathing. Both are present, causing you to let out a sigh of relief. “She should wake up soon…”
It seemed like hours, but Ava finally woke up, and the strangers flocked to her. It sure was a sight to see. You disassociate yourself for a bit as a wave of relief washes over you. All you caught was something about Demons and a magic crisis. You were brought back to reality when Ava shrieked. She was in the kitchen defending herself with nothing but a frying pan.
“Ava!” You rushed to her side. “Don’t worry, I’ve got you!” Ava looked at you momentarily before turning back to the demons at hand. The moment the demons saw you raise your wand, they dropped your weapons. Perhaps they were still off put by the fact that you were able to disarm the demon prince. Either way, Ava seemed relieved.
“Hear me out,” One of the strangers started. His slicked cobalt blue eyes lit up in seriousness. “We come with peaceful intent to-” He was cut off by incoherent screaming involving something about ‘her source of power. Out came another demon-like man. The one who threatened you, to be exact. He was so intimidating that you never noticed the way his physique moved. This one carried himself with pride. He must be a Demon Prince. The man you assumed to be Rhys mumbled a 'your majesty’, confirming your suspicions.
“This human is a sorcerer,” The Demon prince said, tossing a bra catalog to 'Rhys’, the one speaking earlier. The demon pulled out a bra, and you covered your eyes in response. No matter how close you are to a person, it’s still weird to have their undergarments exposed.
Ava used this opportunity to quite literally yeet the pan towards the demon prince’s face. Oof, that’s gotta leave a mark.  You cringed at the thought of the pain. Before you could blink, Ava ran, nay – she bolted – towards the door. One demon, who you assumed to be Pierce, chased after her. Ava was held tight, to ensure that she wouldn’t escape. You held up your wand again and shot the demon the fiercest glare you could muster. Yes, he was attractive, buy your friend is in danger!
“Let. Her. Go.” You ordered as the other demons drew their weapons. One of them, Lief, charged at you with his sickles. “Immobius!” You chanted, causing him to freeze. The struggle was evident on his face. No matter how hard he tried, he was stuck, frozen in time for the next 10 minutes. You turned to the rest of the demons, “Who’s next?” they lowered their weapons, not wanting their bodies petrified. You shifted your attention to Pierce. “Now, I’ll say it once again: Let Ava go.” He obliged and you rushed to Ava’s side. “Are you okay?!” She gave you a small nod before questioning you.
“How.. How did you…” She muttered.
“I’m a wizard(ess).” You completed her sentence. She seemed dumbfounded. “I promise, I won’t hurt you.” Ava understood what you meant, you wanted to protect her. “Now, why are you all here? I will not have you terrorizing an innocent sorcerer!” You decided to humor them for a bit. They explained everything, their crisis, and why they were here.
“Please, all mighty sorcerer,” Rhys begged Ava while kneeling on his feet. She nodded, taking pity on the poor demons.
It was a long adrenaline-filled day, between defending your friend Ava from some rather attractive demons and exposing your secret to her, you almost forgot to pester Jake about your broken heating system. You looked at the clock: it was 10pm. Dang, Jake would be asleep by now. You heaved a sigh, mentally taking note to see Jake bout your unit. Looking around, all the demons were asleep. Well, all except one: Pierce. Your eyes locked with his before turning to Johnny, who was currently purring against Pierce’s lap. Hesitantly, you sat next to Pierce. There was nothing between the two of you except for a your clothes, a few inches on the couch, and Johnny. Something about Pierce caused your heart to go haywire; it was beating out of control.
“Hey…” you shot Pierce a smile. “you seem to be getting along with Johnny.” Johnny left Pierce’s side, seeking the warmth of your lap. His stomach was exposed, and his eyes screamed 'please give me a belly rub’. You gladly obliged, gently patting Johnny’s tummy. He began to purr.
“You can talk to animals, Wizard?” Pierce questioned, prompting a soft laugh to escape your mouth.
“Well, please call me by my name: (Y/n) (L/n) . And, Oh, no,” you began. “In the human world, non-verbal communication is just as important as verbal communication. Non-verbal communication is when you try and say something without talking.” Pierce nodded his head, taking in what you were explaining. “Hmmm… The best way to learn more about this kind of stuff is to observe other humans. Pierce’s eyes lit up, the rest of his body was stoic, almost blasé. You could tell that he was engaged in the conversation, however. You gave him a sympathetic smile before proposing an idea. "How about I take into the city, we can go observe how humans act.” The demon nodded once again. He didn’t seem like one of many words.
You nodded and worked the details out with Ava, and you agreed to take Pierce out into the city.
The next morning, you woke up early to find the appropriate outfit. You settled for something form-fitting yet functional. It hugged you in all the right places, all the while expressing your personality. Pierce on the other hand, was gorgeous. His attire was fairly simple: a form-fitting button down shirt and a pair of jeans. You felt heat rush to your cheeks, his look was so simple, yet so attractive. The only problem was his horns. You gave it a thought before coming up with a brilliant idea.
“Pierce, may I touch your horns?” You asked an innocent question. Even an demon as stoic as Pierce became flustered. A light wash of pink was visible on his cheeks and ears. “As you observed, humans don’t have horns, I need to cast a spell on them so we won’t get weird looks.” Pierce’s posture relaxed a bit as he cautiously nodded his head. You began performing your magic, gently touching your finger to his horns, concentrating your magic in the tips of your fingers. Pierce’s discomfort was still apparent, though he held it in. His horns were soon gone, though temporarily, he looked like any other human. “Ready to go?”
“Yes…” Pierce was not a man of many words, nor was he familiar with human culture. Though he didn’t exactly reject your hand, you took his hand into yours. He was hesitant, but still followed.
You took him everywhere in the city, from the park, to the chiquest restaurants. Pierce was like a child. You would point out something about humans, and he would say something along the lines of “fascinating” or just nod while taking the sight in.
There was one particular location that he was fixated on: the movie theater.  Outside the building was a poster for a Romance movie. It seemed cliché to you, but to Pierce, it was intriguing. The poster displayed a man and a woman, their faces inches apart from the other’s, just a few seconds away from kissing.
“(y/n), what’s this?” Pierce questioned.
“It’s a movie. Humans take moving pictures with other humans to tell a story. They are normally put onto screens for other humans to see as a way to have fun.” you felt silly explaining such a concept to what other people would see as a grown adult, but you pressed on. “In the poster, they’re about to do this thing called kissing. It is way of sharing affection with another person,” you continued. “Would you like to watch it?” you asked. Pierce gave a small nod. You linked your arm around his, pulling him into the theater.
The theater was fairly populated, but you managed to quickly request for your tickets. “Two tickets for (Movie Name) please!” You said with a gleeful smile. The clerk eyed you and Pierce before printing two tickets for the show time and movie.
“Here you are, I went ahead and applied the couple’s discount to your tickets. You saved 20% today.” You blushed. “Snacks and popcorn are complementary as well, present the coupon to the snacks register and they’ll help you from there.”
“Thank you!” You smiled at the clerk. Though it was a little rude of them to assume that Pierce and you were a couple, you couldn’t argue about the fact that it was nice to save a little coin.
You soon received your complimentary food and headed into the dark movie room. The movie soon started; It was a rather cliché movie at that. But you couldn’t lie, this movie’s a classic. Throughout the film, you snuck glances at Pierce. His eyes were fixated on the movie, calculating gestures and noting certain aspects on human culture.
The movie soon ended with a happy ending. The crowd began to clap. Pierce took this as a signal to join in. You giggled at yourself before contributing to the sea of applause. People began to leave in their cliques. You soon followed with Pierce. You took Pierce’s hand into your own. “So we don’t lose each other in the crowd.” You blushed a bit before leading the way out.
You passed a group of girls, about the same age as you, whispering amongst themselves.  You were able to make out a few 'He’s so handsome!’, and 'That person sure is lucky to have a boyfriend as hot as that guy!’. Perhaps they were whispering about Pierce? Maybe not. As if on cue, you ever so gracefully planted face-first into the the sidewalk. You braced yourself for the impact, but it never came. Opening your eyes, your eyes locked with Pierce. Perhaps it was fate, or maybe the lack of sleep, the fact is, you almost fell but at the price of a sprained ankle. It was nothing bad, but it hurt to walk.
“Are you okay?” Pierce’s baritone voice laced your ears. You nodded, wincing in pain.
“I’ll be fine..” That didn’t stop him from sweeping you off your feet. You were in his arms, bridal style, while he walked back to Ava’s apartment. You buried your face into his firm chest to avoid the stares of the other citizens. His body was warm, it was almost therapeutic. You were half-asleep by the time Pierce arrived home. He set you gently onto the couch. Pierce gently planted a quick kiss onto your lips. It was almost like a fever dream, you were too tired to comprehend what happened. All you heard before drifting off to sleep was “Thank you for today, (y/n).”. And just like that, he disappeared into the wall. You didn’t know what the future would hold, but one thing was clear: You were beginning to catch feelings for the long-haired demon.
