A Moonlander, a guitar designed by Yuri Landman. It is a eighteen-stringed electric “guitar”. I put that in quotations because it’s more like a whole different instrument.
Yuri Landman has been creating experimental instruments since 1996, but only recently did the Moonlander gain a spot in the public’s eye because Lee Ranaldo, the guitarist for Sonic Youth. This is a picture of Ranaldo’s version.
There are two in existence.
