She's crazy amazing at creating the most visually outstanding and aesthetically pleasing works of art. Every time I look at them it ignites a passion in me that helped me get through my university work- which is completely unrelated to drawing. My desire to become just as good has helped in getting myself out of bed and hoping I'll pass my classes so I could have time during the summer to pursue my drawing professionally with the pen medium. Drawing can sometimes be a long and arduous process but I honestly can't imagine doing anything else. So kudos to CJ for being an inspiration to artists like me. Been cleaning my room this weekend to clear for a simpler drawing space. I've found having too much clutter around my desk can get really distracting. In other news, I'm also really conflicted which movie to watch later, Beauty and the Beast or Moana? 😆

Just one more day until my final exam 😬 It takes a great deal of courage to face the things that supposedly tests you of your worth. And even more to break all those worldly assumptions by understanding that any test results does not determine your value as a human being. You are more than any grades combined. I just hope you remember that :]

Micron pen vs. art board 👊🏼 I remember the first time I used pen as a new medium, it was almost impossible to shade! But I fought through it and eventually learned to adjust.
