Finally got around to catching up on last season's yuri! my thoughts:
I'm in Love With The Villainess
Loved it! Rae and Claire's relationship dynamic is so fun, and I'm a sucker for a good tsundere. I especially love how it directly discusses queer issues. Portrayed the story from the light novel really well, and if any yuri anime gets a season 2 this might be one of the most deserving. 10/10
Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess
Honestly I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to. Haven't read the novels so I had no idea what to expect, but it did seem like it might be a bit on the trashy side. It kinda was, but I was surprised by the depth that it had as well, and was hooked after that 4th episode. An enjoyable and satisfying watch.
Stardust Telepath
Honestly I thought this was the weakest of the three. The characters are super cute, and I love Akeuchi, but all the drama seemed pretty contrived. Without going into too much detail, it just felt like their over the top emotional reactions didn't match up with the relatively minor stakes. The moments between Akeuchi and Umika were super sweet and definitely the highlights, but overall the show just didn't do it for me :/
Regardless of anything, I'm so so glad we're getting more and more yuri anime and cannot *wait* for the upcoming season! the gays stay winning 🥰
