Kaiyan didn’t think what he said was that funny, but at least the monkey was enjoying himself… Finally, he calmed down and introduced himself properly. Of course, what he said caught the Horns a little off-guard. “Royalty? From where?” He certainly didn’t look like a king or a prince… Then again, what did monkey kings or princes even look like?

Either way, Kaiyan would accept the handshake, grasping Wukong’s palm with his own. The man’s grip was notably quite firm, but Kaiyan made sure to restrain himself so as to not risk hurting the monkey.

“Wow, what a shake. I can’t even see my hand in yours!” Wukong laughed hard and loud, finding yet another simple thing hilarious. 

“Wherever I go I am royalty. I am the monkey king. And...” He retreated from the others grip and backed up a few paces, displaying his skill with his staff now, spinning it around himself and striking the air, finishing with a thunderous CRACK on the ground. “I’m a master of Wuju.” 

“You can applaud at any time now.”

"You are a talking monkey? A vastayan or some experiment I've never heard of? Or perhaps one I forgot about...." The strange lanky man before him began to get lost in thought as he observed Wukong.

Wukong raised a furry brow, confused by the man and yet also finding him funny, softly snickering about his appearance and his words. He did not know about Wukong? Then he must be educated!

"I am Wukong!" He exclaimed as though his name was rumored about the world and that this one finally would have the pleasure of meeting such a legend. "I am Vastayan and I am a king!" He posed as regal as he could, using his staff as some sort of ceremonial scepter. "You may kneel."

The man crossed his arms and raised a brow. “Your master sounds like a ninja… You don’t look like a ninja.” Of course, Kaiyan was no expert, but he’d definitely dealt with ninjas before. Thankfully, this vastayan didn’t seem like he was from the Order of the Shadow. Besides, if he was an enemy, surely he’d have attacked when he had the chance, right?

Thinking this over, Kaiyan relaxed his stance, finally seeming to decide that the monkey was no threat. “My name is Kaiyan. My own master sent me up here to train.”

Wukong leaned back, belly laughing at the comparison to a ninja.

“Huahaha! Ninja!? That is priceless!” 

The laughter continued still, rumbling him to his core and throwing him to the ground in a fit of it. He kicked and pounded his fist to the ground for a moment or two before he would calm down, then wiping himself of dirt when he got back up. For a brief moment it almost seemed his fit would strike again as he guffawed with a dumb grin. After a deep breath he continued.

“Not a ninja. Way cooler.” He held onto the staff and leaned in towards the other, his tail wrapped around and legs fully extended, his face uncomfortably close now with his had subtly extended for a handshake, “My name is Wukong. And you, Kaiyan, are in the presence of royalty.”

Kaiyan had initially been so focused on his training that he failed to register the other’s presence… That is, until he noticed a shadow looming nearby. The dragon disciple quickly turned around and took a fighting stance, only to be met with an armored monkey calling out to him.

“Greetings.” Kaiyan responded plainly, his own voice somehow even deeper. He didn’t seem particularly disturbed or alarmed by the fact the other’s presence; in fact, he seemed to relax a little. “You should probably make yourself known sooner. I very nearly did to you what I’ve been doing to rocks all day.” He smiled, implying that he was partially joking… Partially.

“Never reveal yourself until absolutely necessary.” He replied in a different kind of low tone, mocking in some way. Following the statement he flipped off off the rock and landed a few paces from the other, firmly planting his staff in the ground next to himself.

“That’s what my master taught me.” His voice now normal, seemingly forgetting whatever ruse he was trying to put on. The self proclaimed King would tilt his head curiously and exaggerated, “Who are you?”

*offers a cake as recompense* ✨🍰✨

Cautiously takes the cake and eats it slowly, bite by bite, staring at the greyface.

*gives heimlich* much apologies 🙇‍♀️

Relief swept over the self-proclaimed Monkey King as a large, exaggerated breath would be taken.

"Were you trying to kill me!" he yelled, shaking his fist and baring sharp teeth. "You oughta learn a thing or two about pranks!"

anon love AWAY! *showers you and your muse with flowers (and if you’re allergic, you get a cute paper flower instead)*

"Oh no I heard this was going arou--" Cut off abruptly by a condensed load of flowers, scrambling, flailing, and clawing his way out until he finally burst out one of the ends on the ground level. Wheezing and clamoring about, clutching at his throat he attempted to speak again, "W- Wait..." His speech sounded like he was projecting inward as he said the words only on inhales, distorting his voice like someone who couldn't breathe, "I- I swallow... Swallowed one... Huh-- Whole."

The monkey had been silently watching the other punch rock for a short while now, he himself perched on top of an opposite rock, propping himself and leaning onto his staff. An unusually uncharacteristic feat for him to sit still for so long but he was certainly intrigued with the training. 

Wukong took notice at the subtle side glance from the other. The sun must’ve given his shadow away. Oh well, he thought while standing up, posing in such a way that made him feel cool and attempt to layer his presence with a sense of demigodliness. 

“Hello.” he bellowed, altering his voice to a lower octave.

High in the mountains, a might fist slammed into a rock. Then another, then another. Ordinarily, Kaiyan could just harden his skin with the dragon spirit inside of him, but Master Lee Sin had made him realize something: the Horns of the Dragon had been relying too much on the dragon’s power lately, instead of mastering his own. Thus, Kaiyan came up here to train, intending to strengthen his body against the elements. Little did the Horns realize that he wasn’t the only one who’d come up here to train…

Udyr: *bear noises as he comes in to gank for Wukong and they both kill Tryndamere*

Well, the Jinx trailer and the Ekko comic actually do kind of support Piltover and Zaun being relatively close together.

I’m not understanding how. I’ve rewatched those videos so many times, and I have no idea how you get that, so please entertain me with your thoughts. I know lately with new lore there is a lot of traveling references and what not, but people can just visit and i’m sure it’s like a two day travel to get their.
