My first two finished papercraft art cars. A design that follows the car, and an abstract one. Inspired by sakuras and the American flag, and bento box weenie octopi and American diner food (hamburgers, condiments, beer).

My finished versions of the Research Day poster and cover image. I ended up putting the orange girl’s hair back in frame because it looked squished when I tried to draw it outside the border. I also made the background colors a bit darker, added text, and a few other minor things. I ended up winning! Yay!

This is my very first draft of the LitCon project. I wanted to make a collage of sorts with colors to separate every section of LitCon.

Font poster done! A funny thing that kept happening as i was making this is that as I had the digital version beside me for reference, It kept looking like it was moving in my peripherals. I wonder if I’ve accidentally created a sort of optical illusion, lol! Maybe that makes it eye-catching.

Research Day - I unfortunately forgot this project existed Friday, but since then i’ve brainstormed when possible. I want to make a graphic of a man in a labcoat hunched over a microscope or clipboard. Something very simple and made of shapes, but would accent anything that goes with it. 

Font project - I’m confident in this one and what my idea has become. The space i have to work with, combined with the letter i’ve chosen, combines into an idea i’ll be excited to put into drawn form. I’ll probably make a digital rendition first to help my mind’s eye.

I’ve nothing more to document for class as of now due to time constraints with all of my classes during midterm season. As soon as I am possibly able I’ll get to making more esports logos despite the fact i’ve run out of time, but aside from that in this post and in the next one i’ll talk about the other projects instead. LitCon - I believe i have a pretty strong idea in my head of what i want done, the triptych idea is going to be time-consuming however. I need to focus on it soon once i am able. I really want to unify everything within a color palette, but even if i cant do that the least i’m hoping for is for it to all read clearly.

This is a second logo idea, featuring mostly Vic, wearing headphones. I moved his mouth to the side so that the mic would read clearly, and made his horns orange. Ideally the esports text would also be orange (I had no time to put the text onto this).

The first of a few eSports logos i made. This one correlates with the mouse idea i had a while ago. I tried to feature only purple and orange. In addition, i also made the microphone of the headphone into a tail to mirror the mouse’s devil tail wire, and pointed them both towards “ESPORTS”.
