Over 2000 red and gold crystals symbolize the beautiful souls that have been lost, many hidden within folds of the countryside and hills - going unobserved by the casual viewer. I am very proud to present my most opulent sculpture work to date. My masterpiece, Oceana - Queen of the Seas She measures over 9 feet long (2.74 m) and 13 feet (4 m) including her pile of treasures and eclectic jewels - a collection of handmade jewelry, vintage jewelry (including a working watch), gems and pearls and shells collected from around the world. She is mainly sculpted of fabric and has a tail covered with 7500 metal scales in four sizes, all hand placed. Inside she has an articulated framework which allows her to pose naturally.
