I’m sure someone’s already said this more articulately, but I just wanna put my thoughts down
these things were acts of bravery:

these things were acts of allyship:
Tyler Seguin posting about Black Lives Matter and following through by attending a protest, as well as planning to do more in the future (Reaves has said this visible support is why he spoke to Seguin about kneeling before the game)
Robin Lehner approaching Reaves about kneeling
Tyler Seguin planning to join them and telling the rest of his team

the lesson for white allies: we should celebrate the acts of bravery and emulate the acts of allyship
