Throwback Video

Since Dan Stevens is in 2 movies in theaters right now and Adam Wingard directed the latest Godzilla x Kong. I wanted to throwback the movie that made me love both of these guys from about 10 years ago. I always really liked this action sort of terminator / super solider action horror riff. I kept listening to the soundtrack for years. Definitely need to revisit this one more. Just a solid genre flick.

It’s been around 10 years since one of my favorite revenge movies came out. Launched the careers of Jeremy Saulnier and actor Macon Blair and became one of the best of 2014. Feel like this is probably undervalued for how great it was and what it achieved. But whatever I always remember liking it.

Since my still favorite live action Spider-Man is returning to theaters and this year marks it’s 20th anniversary. I wanted to throwback to my review of it. Which is also about to turn 10. A lot of milestones with this one. I really love this movie and it’s ability to capture the classic Ditko and Lee vibe but also Romita. I just love this thing. Will have to do a rewatch.

Even if I associated this thing more with July 4th it’s back in theaters so why not now.

But seriously I have seen this movie so many times and it’s always so good.

Since Shrek 2 is back in theaters for the 20th Anniversary I wanted to throwback to it. This video isn’t too long ago, almost 2 years but it is the review that got me to rethink about this movie and really like it. Not sure what my deal was but glad I finally came around.
