Embracing Digital Comfort: A Day in my Life as nursing student with Smart Technology
In today's world, where technology influence every aspect of our lives, it's captivating how it has improve our lives. As a third-year nursing student, I rely heavily on a range of technological tools that enhance my productivity, connectivity, and well-being. Let me take you through a typical day and show you how these technology helps me throughout the day.
Rise and Shine with Smart Assistants
My smartphone alarm makes me wake up in the morning, but my smart device sound motivates me to get out of bed with its good and encouraging sound. Any time I get up, I don’t need to ask what the weather is like now because I can just check in my digital assistant. Or if I need to quickly check my schedule for the day, I just have to say a command to Siri and voila like that, my handheld assistant will deliver my planned events for today. Moreover, receiving a good morning remark could help me to start my day on positive mood. Also, every morning when getting ready, my smart speaker plays my favourite playlist, which is nice because it is my ideal mood for me to be productive.

Digital Learning on the Go
When I’m in class, I always open my Goodnotes which contains all of my files and canvas in order to follow using my tablet and to take down notes with my digital pencil, the important topics and what I hear from our professors. Highlighting texts always helps me analyse to the main ideas of essays as I my lecturer proceeds with her lessons. While on my way back home, I usually use the youtube which is included in canvas, most of the time it offer me the newest medical topics which is not only benefit me alone but also develop my knowledge on different topics that I didn’t understand on lesson.

Collaborative Study Sessions
When me, my friends, and group mates meets for a study session, we always use the collaboration apps/website, whether with Google Docs, Word, Google Meet or Zoom. The distance is no longer a barrier with us when it comes to studying together, engaging in virtual discussions, and even collaborating for us to gain knowledge. Having the access to utilise the screen-share functionality on meet apps, then one of us will present various information like return demonstration videos/checklist like in YouTube, Canvas for creating designs, or LucidChart for making concept map, these online technology helps us to have an appropriate learning experience in an online settings.

Relaxation and Mindfulness
After a long day, I always watch some good movies and videos on youtube, charging myself with meditations and relaxation apps, encouraging mindfulness to relieve any stress and for the benefit of my mental health. Listening to good songs transfers me to the state of peaceful restfulness that comes before successful restorative sleep. Sleep tracking functions of my phone help me to determine the how much sleep I get which gives me an energy burst each day for me to be productive.
When I look back upon those days, all the digital transformations appear like well-crafted pieces, where all the tech is the part of our everyday routine. These technological advancement does not only benefits my studies, but also what I achieve in my health and well-being. Therefore, we have to use technology in a good manner, I look forward to witnessing how technological advancements in healthcare will further shape the provision of care and patient outcomes in the years to come.
