FUNCTIONAL MEDICATION

17 Functional Drugs for Sims! I created these to give a little extra story to my games and to create more unique sims. Medications range from over the counter and prescription drugs. Let your sims manage their psychotic, anxious or depressive behaviours, as well the ADD/ADHD and an extra ADD medication for the misdiagnosed for the opposite effect! Take your loved child to the pharmacy to buy Multivitamins and Vitamin C for kids, and buy yourself some Multivitamins or SuperGreens. Or leave the kid behind and take your partner to buy some Viagra-like drugs if things haven’t been so steamy.

8 out of the 25 medication bottles have a realistic long lasting effect as in real life– But become unsellable in retail lots, but still work! I have kept these long-lasting drugs in the package (their swatch is greyscale to easily identify and don’t have a “$” next to their catalog name). The sellable version of these 8 specific drugs have effects that last over 3-4 hours instead of 12 hours.

Drugs: Ritalin- Treats ADD causing sims to be focused for a few hours. Ritalin Non- ADD meds for non-ADD sims. Causes sims to be energized.

Multivitamins for men and women- Boosts energy for 12 hours (or less for the sellable version)

Multivitamins for kids- Boosts energy for 12 hours (or less for the sellable version)

Vitamin C for kids- Boosts happiness for 12 hours (or less for the sellable version)

Supergreens- Boosts happiness for 12 hours (or less for the sellable version)

Xanax- Treats anxiety and panic disorders, causes sims to feel dazed for 12 hours (or resolves sims’ moodlets- sellable)

Clozapine- Treats schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder by solving sims’ moodlets

Cymbalta- Long acting, treats anxiety and depression by boosting happiness for 12 hours

Zoloft- Long acting antidepressant/OCD/anxiety boosts happiness for 12 hours (or less for the sellable version)

Adderall- Long acting ADHD medication causing sims to be focused for 12 hours (or less for the sellable version)

Lasix- A loop diuretic, inhibiting absorption of salt & encourages its passing in urine. Sims will instantly lose weight

Clearlax- A laxative, facilitating bowel motions which will cause your sims to instantly lose weight

Adipex-P- A weight loss pill causing sims to instantly lose weight

Viagra- For males, bring out their VERY flirty side for a few hours

Horny Goat Weed- A Viagra-like drug for women, bringing out their VERY flirty side for a few hours Medications are located under bathroom accents in buy mode, and yes they have a funny seed packet thumbnail that I wasn’t able to overwrite with my own =) This is a new mesh I created myself, and my first mesh it is. Custom CAS Trait: Narcissist

He’s looking at himself again. It’s as if that mirror holds a form of mystery or strange gravitational pull to him that you just cannot seem to understand, but he does. Gawking at himself, admiring every inch of his face and body and perfecting everything he can seems to be his only focus. Just be sure to answer him honestly when he ask show he looks. In other words, remind him he’s as perfect as he feels.

Obsessed with themselves, narcissistic sims are nothing short of perfectionists and have an ego so large that it could engulf all of Newcrest and possibly Willow Creek along with it. Their best friend is the mirror in their bedroom and the sim friends they do have often have no problem dishing them out compliments. Just be sure not to drive them away.

Narcissistic Sims:

Are Confident by default (+2)

Fun need decays 15% slower

Social need decays 25% faster

Hygiene need decays 55% slower and replenishes 35% faster

Learn the Bartending skill 20% faster

Learn the Piano, Guitar and Violin 10% faster

Learn the Writing skill 10% faster

Learn the Photography skill 45% faster (Get to Work Owners Only)

Learn the Fitness skill 25% faster

Custom CAS TRait: Sensitive

Time and time again, you’ve given your heart away to friends, family and love alike, but something goes wrong. You don’t deserve to be treated poorly, and you know this, but it still seems to happen. Why you? To your chagrin, you’ve come to find that the one you cared for hasn’t been true this whole time. Just as it begins to get bleaker, a kind soul offers you a smile and asks how you’re fairing. This stranger could very well be your next friend and like many previous encounters, you open up a little too quickly. Hopefully this time, your compassion will pay off.

Sensitivity is nothing to be ashamed of regardless of gender or age. These sims make wonderful friends and loyal lovers. They are quick to make friendships and are always yearning to gain more. When mistreated, they always take the situation to heart and often hold onto hope when it comes to the problem, even if it isn’t quite right. Emotional and looking to be loved, you can best bet this sim is someone you need in your life. They’ll always be there.

CAS Custom Trait: Master Crafter

Somehow you can close your eyes, envision your design and make it spring to life, whether it originates from wood, stone, paper or on an oven. Even photographs turn out perfect and serene with a simple click of a button and you end up with an image to die for. Creativity never falls short when writing either. You’ll have collectors racing to purchase your works in no time. Despite the fact that works of art double in worth upon the artist’s demise, you tell ol’ Grim you’re not quite done yet.

Some people can just do it all and master crafters are no exception. In fact, they are the epitome of craftsmanship. From simple cooking and writing to photography, art and musical mastery, these sims can conquer anything creative in their wake. Just remember, your acquaintances now will be saying they knew you before you were famous in time to come.

Master Crafters:

Are inspired by default (+2)

Learn all Creative skills 100% faster. This includes Bartending, Homestyle Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, Painting, Guitar, Violin, Piano, Writing

For Get to Work owners, sims will learn Baking and Photography skills 100%. This will not affect base game owners.

Learn the Handiness skill 100% faster

Fun need decays 20% faster but replenishes 50% faster

Basic needs decay 20% slower

Autonomy includes that of Art Lover, Inspired, Focused, Genius, Creative and Perfectionist trait, giving sims a chance to be embarrassed by their work

Their whims include the yearn to craft items, paint, write books and songs, cook, play instruments and basic social interactions

This trait was suggested by unattendedsims. I hope this trait tickles your fancy. :)

Custom CAS Trait: Asperger Syndrome

Asperger syndrome, also known as Asperger’s syndrome, Asperger disorder or simply Asperger’s, is an autism spectrum disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, alongside restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. It differs from other autism spectrum disorders by its relative preservation of linguistic and cognitive development. Although not required for diagnosis, physical clumsiness and atypical (peculiar or odd) use of language are frequently reported.

*Research found in various sources, personal messages given to me from bearers of the condition and WebDM.

Sims with Asperger Syndrome:

Are inspired by default (+1)

Social need decays 90% slower

Fun need decays 15% faster

Energy need decays 10% slower

Learn ALL Creative skills 30% faster

Learn the Logic and Rocket Science skills 30% faster

Learn the Charisma skill 20% slower

Child Creativity increased by 45%

Child Logic increased by 45%

Child Social reduced by 20%

Child Motor reduced by 20%

Friendships increase 15% slower and decay 20% faster

Mischievous relationships increase 15% faster and decay 20% faster

Autonomy includes that of the Genius, Clumsy, Hot Headed, Loner and Creative traits as well as the Inspired emotion

Whims include that of touching on each and every creative skill such as cooking, painting and writing, becoming inspired, logic based interactions, minor mischievous actions, scientific interest for adults and children, engaging in homework completion and extra credit for children and teens and being alone

*Note: The mean trait I had tested in the autonomy focused more on the sim being rude rather than touching on the real aspects of this condition such as lack of empathy, social problems and a strong increase in advanced interests most children do not have, such as increased logic and more. Therefore it was removed and replaced with hot headed. Thank you to the few who contributed some personal experienced and information. This trait is available for all ages.

Custom CAS Trait: Stoner

You’re pretty sure he isn’t wrapping up garden spices, but then again it could be anything. He’s known to own a garden and even collect wild herbs. Perhaps his intention is medicinal or just for fun. Regardless of this, he loves to party, prank, laugh, woohoo and ravage your cupboards of every edible item in sight. On the plus side, he sure does make some bomb brownies and cupcakes.

Stoner sims are known for well, being stoners. Party goers and jokers at heart, stoners live for the rush, sometimes drink, thrive in the moment and have little regrets. Well, as long as they don’t too anything too bizarre while “up there” or wake up in the wrong bed. Remember the last time, when you woke up in your neighbor’s lawn next to a garden gnome with a cowplant looming over you? Of course you don’t. But we do.

Stoners:

Are Dazed by default (+1)

Can never be Focused

Fun need decays 30% faster

Hunger need decays 20% faster and replenishes 5% slower

Social need decays 10% faster

Energy need decays 10% faster

Learn the Bartending skill 35% faster

Learn the Guitar skill 15% faster

Learn the Homestyle Cooking skill 25% faster

This is to compensate for Base Game users due to no Baking

** Chance for a special buff: “Baked”

Baked occurs randomly when a sim is Dazed

While Baked, the hunger need decays an additional 30% faster

While Baked, Bartending increases by 30%

This buff lasts five hours in game (roughly 5 real time minutes)

Custom CAS Trait: Feminist

If you think she can’t do just as much as you can, you’re immensely jaded and will be astounded the very moment she completes the tasks you can and possibly even better. There’s nothing that a fellow can do that this woman cannot and she’ll tell you herself. Rights are something valued and sought after by sims of all types and she ensures to find a happy medium, meaning equality for everyone.

Sims that pursue the feminist belief are kind and open to the desire to have equality between the genders. These sims are both women and men alike. After all, a gentleman can desire gender equality as well. Despite this, these sims can often be found socializing, excelling through careers confidently and bringing awareness through the creation of novels and articles.

Moods

Look at these two, my heart is melting. ♥ This pose pack was inspired by the lovely Wednesday and Amelia by @nicotinc! She is such a kind and fun person and writes amazing stories! I was super lucky to have these two girls actually model the pack for me too.

The pack contains 10 poses: 5 for partner A and 5 for partner B. The poses were made using two female rigs of default height and will work the best with two female frames. It could work with m/m and m/f couples though clipping will most likely happen, and there is no height difference.
