Bare headcannon:
• Peter is the golden retriever Jason is the black cat
• Peter insufferable theatre kid, Jason has never watched a musical other than the ones Peter has been in.
• Ivy has everyone’s star signs memorised
• Jason cries whenever a dog gets hurt in any movie or book
• Both Peter and Jason still sleep with their childhood stuffed animals. Peter’s is a cat and Jason’s is a shark.
• Nadia favourite queen from SIX is Anne Boleyn

• Jason liked to write, when Peter was helping clean out his part of the dorm he found pages and pages of writing. Jason wrote about a perfect world where he and Peter could be open about their relationship, he wrote about how he felt about Peter. They were just scraps of paper. Some were perfectly formatted paragraphs while others were “I love him.” the notes were tucked in every possible place, a few longer ones were under the mattress or in the pillow case while others were being used as book marks and hidden in drawers.
• Peter’s favourite thing to draw was Jason, he has 2 sketchbooks dedicated to Jason.
• Peter kept as many of Jason’s hoodies/sweatshirts as the McConnells would allow.
• Peter didn’t sleep for the first few days after Jason passed. He would lay in Jason’s bed and read Jason’s writing.
• Matt tried to apologise to Peter right before the funeral, while Matt talked Peter shook his head and walked away. Peter was glad Matt felt remorse or guilt but he couldn’t handle thinking about how preventable Jason’s death was.
• Nadia sat with Peter while he was cleaning the dorm, she stayed in the room overnight a few times when Peter was inconsolable.
• Peter grew to resent the church and when he finished his schooling he started a foundation to help queer kids in the same position that Jason was in. (Kind of like the Trevor project)
